@bob Bowie This is typical for car launches in the industry. Attendees are invited to the media launch and the trip is paid for. However no money is paid directly to the reviewer. This is so they can have their product engineers on location to answer questions and to present the car to the press. All this means is that the Car Mom has been officially considered Media which is awesome because she has a unique perspective and a different viewer base than typical car reviewers.

Actually, she always seems a bit spastic.

I'm a dad not a mom, but I really appreciate a look at vehicles from a families perspective vs many others that only look at vehicles as how they work for the driver.

I appreciate the no-frills and to-the-point honest review you provide in your car reviews which works for 99% of the populations who benefits from car reviews. Its a refreshing change from the typical video. Your review helped me seal the deal on finalizing a pre-order for this vehicle with my wife. She loved your focus on the purse space in the middle... Yes girl she says! lol

My first time seeing a video from Car Mom. Absolutely awesome! I want this car and I really appreciate the video...and I do not have kids, this is just for me :-)

I really like it actually! And I love some of the things you point out that may not be the most “positive” for the manufacturer but for someone like me, I’m like oh, not a deal breaker. I wouldn’t often use a 3rd row but want a car with that option so… sunroof, whatever, tons of room..not looking for it… so yeah you’re honestly is a good thing! Great job infinity cause I wouldn’t have considered this car otherwise.

Totally agree. I live in Florida, and Sunroof remains closed all the time as it heats the car too much so not having it on 3rd row not a big deal. I LOVE the trunk with hidden storage below. Wish more car manufacturers would do that (hello GM). Quilting is beautiful and I love the captain chairs.

Love your review, you talk fast and straight to the point, and in a humourous way, great talent. My deal breaker for this car is the fake chrome skid plate/ muffler. I hope infiniti offer us option to chrome delete at least like their glacier white color option. If you select glacier option, the skid plates are chrome deleted : )

Well! I just got the 2022 x3 because of your reviews! Other mamas were able to respond to my question with the vista. And it’s PERFECT!!! But I love this car too!

The Wonder Woman Mom of car reviews! Love your channel keep up the great work. I love the detail and as a woman with a long torso I would like to know if you can actually rest your arms comfortably in the cars you try out. In SoCal, we get to sit in a lot of stop and go so that is a key deciding factor!

The QX60 definitely needed to be refreshed. I had the older model (2013) and it was great. Drove well, comfortable ride, roomy, but the 3rd row was difficult to access and captains chairs (which I LOVE) were not an option. The 2022 model looks like it has a lot of great, new features. Thanks for the tour!

Me too! Fully.loaded jx35. I absolutely love the car... I backed it up with a gv80 because I put over 20k a year on it and it wont last forever. Still, when I go to the garage i usually end up driving the jx. I waited for this car... and waited. I am glad I got something else. Pretty sure this car is gonna be a turd. Infiniti just isn't a luxury brand anymore and their service dept leaves much to be desired.

@@farmdaze9961 I mean if you don't use the 3rd row in the gv80 then that's cool but then why get something so big 2 begin with? I feel the gv80 is nice but the size could be bigger in the rear though this isn't really big wither bit its accommodating. I guarantee this naturally aspirated v6 will outlast that turbo and just remember not long ago kia had many issues with turbos and engines going bad just a few years ago so I hope it won't be the same with people reaching around 100k miles many many engines blew and turbos smoking in many different vehicles. My friend learned 1st hand and my uncle was driving with my 80 yr old grandma and the pos kia died on the hwy and needed the engine replaced with around 100k on it. I've seen many kids blowing blue smoke oit driving because of bad turbo! If I got the gv80 I would get an unlimited miles warranty if you plan 2 keep it beyond 100k miles.

This review makes me appreciate Raiti's Rides even more.

hexise, One of my feelings too. And the QX60 is very delayed coming to market due to Chip shortages. There are no reviews of the driveability anywhere, Infiniti has Not allowed it ?? IMO, that is a Big Mistake. I reviewed and test drove the new Pathfinder , the QX60's brother /sister. It's a very good vehicle. But after seeing the new Acura 2022 MDX Advance in person and on Line, and the good offer from Acura for an early termination on my current 20-19 MDX lease, which had Equity of $3K , plus the $1K Loyalty Money from Acura, I went for the new MDX Advance. I reserve the word LOVE for people , not Things, so I'll say this ... I REALLY LIKE the new MDX . At 70 YO, I can't emphasize enough, how excited I am about getting this new car. Got it on 8/20/21, and still feel like a 12 year old at XMAS. There is no final pricing for the QX60 which appears to have an outstanding interior, probably a notch above the Acura, but I suspect it will top $65K fully loaded like the Acura which has a MSRP of $62K. Last thing to point out, on an non mechanical level, is the fabulous 16 speaker, ELS Sound System in the Acura. I can't get enough of it !! Be well, and stay safe from COVID-19.

@@Chiroman527 Thanks for your comments. I love the new MDX for 2022. My lease is up on my Cadillac XT5 and we will probably buy it out and wait til chip shortage is over. I had an MDX before and I loved it. I traded for Cadillac XT5 because I moved to FL to a new build and the garage doors are so narrow I was afraid I’d take a mirror off in/out garage. For new car I’m considering XT6 from Cadillac because it offers length but not width so I don’t have issue with garage opening. (We have friends in VA whose individual garage doors are 15” wider than ours in FL). After 3 years driving Caddy, I still miss some Acura features, starting with sunglass holder. Living in FL and wearing prescription glasses I really feel this is an important feature so glasses have a place to go. I do not use or put value on “purse” holder beneath center console. I also liked how Acura had a feature that told me how long the engine had been running. This let me know how long it took me to get from point a to point b. I used it all the time (and moving to a new location it was super helpful). BTW, I too am an older woman (retired), so don’t pay as much attention to car seat info, but I recognize if it can fit car seats it means it’s roomy.

Oooo Acura MDX is gonna be mad! They thought they were the only one's with the pop out rear center console! Not thrilled about the 3rd row. Wish that the car makers that are doing mid-size would make that an option. I don't want a compact SUV because it's too small. But I don't need a 3rd row in a mid-size either. Finally, I'm not one who likes a gold car, but the gold/black is GORGEOUS! Thank you for your review!

I think my wife would like to know what powers this QX60....so would I. Do you not cover powertrain? Did I miss it? If there is an embargo, than mention that you'll review the drive/ride/and drivetrain later. I do appreciate your interior insight though, just wanting more.

How would you compare this to the Telluride SX? I drive a 2020 Navigator for work and reliability has been well, not so good. We are thinking of turning it in (leased) and going a bit smaller. The Nav doesn't fit in the parking garage either and windshield blocks the toll reader at airport which is a huge hassle. Test drove the Telluride and thought it was awesome. I like the regular gas and non turbo V6 aspect too. Inside of Infiniti looks better but really need to test drive one. A Volvo XC90 is a contender too but the 4cyl supercharged engine is a bit of a turn off. It drove very nice though and had understated luxury. Give me your thoughts if you don't mind. Decent review even though I don't haul kids :)

I really like the sunglasses. The car seat fold is cool but my daughter is almost 3 and not even 30lbs yet. Babies under one are rarely over 30lbs. Not sure that feature is actually safe if the weight limit is at 30lbs. Love your reviews!

We got a 2022 X5 and there is no space for car seats. We have a clek infant and a Nuna Rava rear facing. Just an FYI if you have little kids!

Honest opinion. We were looking forward to this car because it is gorgeous compared to last version. Had higher expectation than what it delivers when compared to the the 3 row Sport Luxury SUV segment. Going With the Jeep GC L (Summit) with all the offering. Which one do you love more Kelly and car mom fam?

Can you please review the 2022 santa cruz from hyundai, it is a cute crossover I am interested in but will a graco 4 ever extend fit reversed.

I have four children and bought a lot of cars. One way to protect the seat material, cloth or leather, is to place a big towel under the car seat. Once every now and then I remove the child safety seat and shake out the Cheerios. Thank you for this thorough report.
