I had a conversation with God, after being an atheist for 6 years, I don't know how and why this happened, it just happened while I'm reading the second chapter on my tablet, I switched off the screen and IN MY HEAD I HAD THIS CONVERSTATION I don't know how to describe it but it was like this: Me: So you exist? God: Yes of course. Me: Why I can't feel your presence anymore? God: Because you stopped feeling your presence, how do you expect to feel anything around you? "my tears were flowing like a river from the corner of my eyes down to my neck at this moment" Me: So what about religions, are they true? God: It's all man-made, and I don't blame you to stop believing in them. Me: I missed you. God: I missed you too. Me: Is my father with you? God: Yes. Me: Can you say Hi to him for me? God: Of Course. Me: What about afterlife? is there hell and heaving like we've been told? God: No it's not like that, there's Void and the thing you call heaven it's not like described in religions, your mind won't understand it, it's life but in another dimension. Me: You know I need help, would you still help me ? God: Of course, you stopped asking me to help you and that's why you're in this situation, ask me and I'll help you for sure. Me: OK. God: OK. by this moment my tears didn't stop flowing down to my neck I didn't cry for more than 10 years. and now you'd think I'm going crazy, but I don't know if I'm going crazy or what.

Every thing you need to know about life and about the world is contained in anything you are doing. You don't have to go looking for it. Every thing you need you are in possession of right this moment...

This is a life-changing book. Hopefully many more people will read it and will be inspired by it. ❤️

I read it and so far the most influential book I've ever read

"The boy's name was Santiago..." right from that first line, I read 10 years ago, the Alchemist opens with the wonder and beauty of a child's story. I've read Hemingway, Steinbech, Orwell, Fitzgerald, Huxley and all the literary classic authors but Coelho's novel is the only book I have read and re-read about 50 times. I look forward to the movie but the book will always be in a class of it's own.

May the universe conspires to make this movie happen ASAP

I read this book every year on my birthday....I have given hundreds of copies of it away with a note saying "I hope that you will recognize me as one of your Omens".....I have hired people based on this book and not hired people based on this book...lastly as a public speaker, one of my keynotes on Entrepreneurialism centers on the concept of this book and how it has the ability to identify those of us that have a fire in us to keep risking it all in search of our true meanings and passions. I cannot wait for this movie to come out...and meeting Paulo Coelho in person is literally the highest thing on my bucket list!

The Alchemist is my favorite book!

I cried while he was moving forward and while reading fatima's part,this book itself made a movie in my mind, just when I finished my book,i started to see sun,wind,animals im just a different way,and i found my omen too❤

I read this book many times. U will find a new dimension for every reading

I heard about The Alchemist about a decade ago and kept hearing about the book but haven’t read it until 2020- in the mid of the pandemic, trapped on a beautiful island of Maldives, I have downloaded on my e reader and I must agree that it’s one book that stirred the soul unlike the loads of bullshit aka Selfhelp genres and reading again now. Can’t wait to watch on the big screen😊
