This shoe is so fire. There are so many sleeping on it. It's so crazy to me. I bought them instantly. It was a no brainer. When my daughter saw them in my hands. She was in awe. So then she bought a pair. This shoe is far better than so many shoes that have sold out. If this shoe was a dubbed a "travis" AM1. It would sell out and resell for $500. Nice review

Its March 22nd I just bought these today. Im fine with shoes not selling out. That means the less worries of having to pay more than retail. If you know how to dress and you rock your kicks right. Theyll actually standput more than some kicks everyone has. I cop alot kicks everyone rocks but I dont immediately rock them so when I do they tend to stand out more.

The Colorway is similar to another AM1. I think called the AM1 Mystic. They should have made one of the two with a mesh tow box. Yeah, I would change out the laces to white.

Totally agree with you one of the best air max this year like you say few years from now these will be going for 300+ remind of the Ridge rock they hit the sales look what they go for now DS crazy great review

I'm going to guess we're around the same age, I've seen a couple amazing, pioneering, and creative shoes/collaborations from 2000-2003 get slept on these days lol. It's interesting to see for people who lived through that time and who are connected to it for that reason, even if we were too young to buy shoes. Personally I think that time was the best and most creative for exclusive/regional sneakers. Some do get pretty widespread acknowledgment though, Co.jp Jordan 1s, Stussy Huaraches, Linen Air Force 1s as examples (I have all 3 lol) A lot of sneaker KZreadrs only talk about currently hyped up shoes so they can get views, so these absolute classics don't get a lot of exposure for younger sneakerheads. I'm loving your channel though man I found it about a week ago and just subscribed lol. No hype, just real sneaker passion

Thanks so much for the kind words. I agree, maybe it’s the nostalgia speaking but that was a special time for me in terms of sneakers and so much creativity. Old enough to know what I like and don’t like, not old enough to buy any sneaker I wanted 😆 Yeah I genuinely don’t care about hype, partly cause I never pay over retail so I miss out on a lot of ‘hyped’ sneakers, and partly cause I’m too old to be ‘cool’ anyway 🤷🏻‍♂️ thanks for subscribing!

I do like ‘em! I definitely thought they’d do better than they did too. I did however pass on them though. My issue was just too much heat dropping in February/March 🤦🏻‍♂️ I got the gray pair that dropped a couple weeks before these. The Playoff 13s’. The white A Ma 12s’. UNC 5s’. My big bubbles literally showed up today after hitting on the shock drop. I’m like a grand deep 😅🤦🏻‍♂️ I was REALLY hoping they were gonna shock drop the Corteiz 95s’ after the live today. Unfortunately they’re looking like an EU only release for the moment. Just too many pairs

I just picked these up from my local Undefeated and was surprised they had them. Asked the employee and he had only sold 4 other pairs. Wild!

Great review! I wear size 10 but I have wide feet and wasn't sure if I should get 10.5 instead of 10. I never worn Air Max 1 before, are they like Nike running shoes? Because the running shoes feel tight on my feet

Thank you! It's been a while since I've owned Nike running shoes but I do remember going up half a size also in those. I've also searched on Reddit for other flat and wide footers' experiences with Air Max 1s, and a lot of people do go up half a size. I don't think going true to size would be so painful but it will be snug in the midfoot, you can always take out the insoles, though personally I prefer having some room in the toe area length wise over an overly snug midfoot

Definitely very close! In hand and side to side though, the colors are more distinct. That does make me wonder what an AMM Air Max 1 would look like though 🤔

Kopped these just bexause they didn’t sell out, the kolorway, and I’m a huge AM1 fan but to be kompletely honest they’re the mystik dates & wolf greys all over again. I feel like I doubled up on the same sneaker just one with a different tongue logo.

You might be on to something, just checked my fair and left shoe is slightly taller. Hard to notice but when you look for it you can tell. Nike QC at work 🤦🏻‍♂️
