The lava rock is slowly becoming the most powerful thing ever introduced in Jojo's. It is guiding fate by causing both blessings and calamity. This part will be wild.

I have a personal feeling that the user of Bags Groove will be named AJR just because of running theme of three letter acronyms. Also I have a theory that the ideas of fate in parts 7,8, and 9 are a reference to "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" with the spin being the good, calamity being the bad, and the absurd being the ugly. Also I just realized that Hawaii is sort of a middle point between Japan (Jojolion) and the mainland U.S.A (Steel Ball Run) so this could mean that the absurd is sort of a mix between the spin and calamity.

This reminds me how it is said that taking lava rocks from the land of hawaii causes bad luck. It feels like Araki is combining the premise of a cure like part 8 and the fate of part 7. Just some food for thought. This also coincides with the end of part 5 and destiny.

I love how once again Araki finds a new way to play with the theme of Fate and its consequences. I’m sure we’ll go more into the cost of using the lava rock as we go on, and it’s cool that it’s essentially acting as part of a throughline connecting all the parts of this new universe, as it’s definitely going to be connected to the Devil’s Palm stuff.

Something that you mentioned that I never even thought abt was calling the negative effects of the rock we saw in this chapter an "absurd event". And connecting it back to the Absurd event from one of the previous chapters. What if that too wqs Howlers doing, why pin the entire blame on Jodio's father? It's likely that stuff just like this happened and resulted in the huge payout. Maybe this will affect our main characters mainly Dragona or Jodio when they connect those dots. The Lava Rock causes "absurd events" to gather wealth. Jodio will have his answer as to "why us? Why my family?" When it came to why absurd events happen

My favorite part is when Jodio said “wow, we sure are in Jojolands”

I love that November rain is so versatile.

I’d say the gangs pursuit using the Lava Rock is similar to Johnny’s selfish pursuit of the Holy Corpse. He caused a lot of death and destruction to be able to walk again and use his abilities. I think by the end of this part they’ll have to choose what thing that they find most valuable will be saved, their wealth or loved ones. I’d be interesting if the literal value of love trumps everything in the mechanism. It’s cliche but I can see that being a conflict

Always looking forward to your reviews! you always put much thought in the reviews and your theories when a chapter is out. This chapter really gave us a understand on what the Lava Rock can have a signficance for. There's always objects, items we find in this life that can give us either bad luck or good luck because its always tied with destiny, how everything happens for a reason and this Lava Rock is being that. A center of the universe for them, getting everything they want where we dont know what will happen. The ideology behind this part is bigger than we think and Araki is playing it well with us in every chapter. I gotta say i have been loving the musical references and i wonde what Araki is trying to say the Breaking Bad referneces. Is Howler is gonna a villain like in Breaking Bad ?

I think November Rain as a whole, including the raid drops, is the Stand. This means that each raindrop has the same strength as the main body, and is precisely controlled by Jodio

Ill keep that in mind, in the future ill try to add more theorizing/discussing going more in depth on what's new and the future

My stand concept: my stand allows me to redirect any damage inflected on my body back to the attacker, for example, if made in heaven chopped my skull in half, like jotaro, puccie would receive that exact damage killing him. As for me, my body still takes the damage, which can kill me, but my other ability called "Survivors instinct" allows my stand to heal and restore my body back to its original state, the stand can still be activated even after the user dies, it's able resurrect its user from the tiniest amounts of blood, or meat chunks. but this ability can only work every 7 seconds. The stand is also able to defend itself, and has the instinct and sentients, and the will to save its user no matter what. But if I'm severely attacked again after being brought back, the stand also fades away right after the user dies again sense it isn't able to heal before the 7 second mark, The stand has 3 seconds before it dies with the user. But if the ability wasn't used yet, it has 3 seconds of life left for its resurrection to work. But if any damage or harm gets inflected on me, the users ability, or physical attack will get redirected to them. I'm able to control my healing ability at will, but if I'm knocked dead, my stand automatically activates it. With the attacker dead, this stand is a formidable one. It has an A in destructive power, B in speed, c in range.

For me a more interesting twist would be that it is an organization led by humans who are aware of the "rock-humans" and control them for their benefit. Like an "anti-Speedwagon Foundation" that instead of containing the supernatural, it exploits it. Plus it would be a great way to throw Toruu in the face for who is the true dominant species.

So I dont think the girl is JUST an agent of Howler, but also a has a higher position than Bobby Jean. I say this because her bratty attitude and controlling personality could indicates she could be more powerful than Bobby on the social scale despite her stand being somewhat lacking in control. Its also possible that despite Bobby being in a lower position, he could have a powerful stand to make up for it. Kind of showing a duality between the two agents.

Imagine an EOH:R Like ASBR and Jodio gets the 2013 Josuke Treatment [not enough of the part exists for there to be a good moveset so he's a little mid] now that would be pretty *absurd*

I believe that it's a possibility that That Girl's Bags Groove was literally only made BECAUSE the lava rock touched the deeds. Like when the gang putted the lava rock to the deed it determined the easiest path to the gang getting the land was to make a stand that would attack Sophie.

due to this part I have realised how much I dislike wating a month for a new chapter. with part 8 I loved the first half and honestly hated most of the later half (mostly due to a lot of emotional investmemt not paying off - with poorly ended sotrylines and characters that seemed important being meaningless for the story or sometimes completely "forgotten"). with part 9, I liked the first few chapters, but right now it seems so pointless and SLOW. waiting a full month just for a single strike to connect feels offensive to me. jojos is my favorite anime and manga by a landslide and yet, with those two experiences, it has felt meaningless to me. I can only assume the problem lies on me since most of the community is still praising and hyped about it. so I guess I will have to wait 5-10 years for it to end and binge read it all at once.

Question can I buy the physical manga or is it not in English right now?
