Backstory:
I wrote this song in 2022 in about 10 minutes. I was messing around with E-Major double stops when this arrangement came about. This song did not have a name until last year.
I went on and off with the unnamed song, adding different melodies each time. All I knew was I wanted this song to have a beautiful, soothing flow (delay adds a nice touch).
I named this song “The Afterlife” not because of a particular life event-but because that is what it brought to mind during the editing process in 2022-23.
