I like this a lot. The Gesture Sensor took a little bit to get used to.

I would be afraid that I would accidentally turn off the light when I really needed it, like fighting a Bigfoot on a midnight hike.

Appreciate that it doesn't need proprietary batteries like some of the more established brands are switching to.

Yes, I agree with that. That is the beauty of these and the reason why I avoid popular brands and go for these, and these do the same or much better, so why waste money.

Exactly. The more popular brands are NOT where the best value lies. It's the up and comers trying to get a foot in the market. Proprietary batteries are an inconvenience for the user, and companies only do it out of greed, thinking it will force consumers to stay within their brand for everything. They think they will make more money, but I for one would never buy a light from a company like that. That is Apple's business model too, but the EU is forcing Apple to start offering replaceable batteries and to use standard USB cables. Apple should be ashamed that a government has to force them to behave ethically towards their customers.

Oh ya anyone know how to replace the Milwaukee 18650 with better cells?

I was going to buy the Olight perun mini 2 but, this one here, price to functionality, well worth the upgrade! Great review!

I just received my Wuben E7 from Amazon couple days ago i love it! Wuben is on sale for$23.99 along with all accessories for $8.99 each. I have the whole bundle plus Wuben i paid $50 good deal me. I've been testing it out yhe last couple of nights and 0 problems. I put on extension to tube and tried using the 18650 batteries i had. Several different brands and they all work on light. I like it so much i probably will pick up another light!

You get about 3x the runtime with the larger 18650 battery. 😀

Good review! Wonder why this newer version is much less expensive than the the X0?

Can you do a follow up video where you completely remove the top part of the headband, because there's seems to be a design flaw there on mine.

Pretty sure their 'inductor' is in reality a 'proximity sensor'.

I use the x-0 all the time. Lately I've been buying wider flatter ninety degree lights. My primary secondary use for the light is clipping it to a shirt pocket as a backup/ alternative to my headlamp. I find the only gripe that i have with the x-0 is it's roundness while clipped to my shirt pocket, sometimes it doesn't point exactly where i would expect it to. Point is, i couldn't see using the x-0 as a headlamp for as much as I use a headlamp but, an adapter similar to the headlamp mount that could attach to a shirt pocket to minimize flop/ allow controlled aiming of the x-0 would be very intriguing to me.

The new light is nice, I like the idea of the no touch turn on. My hands are often dirty from whatever I am working on or with. Just for me on the day to day (more accurately the night to night) I think the smaller, less tactile power button on the light itself would annoy me. That's my biggest complaint about the the wider, flatter lights that I've bought as a backup to my x-0's. None of those have been promoted to my necessary EDC status like the x-0 has been. I've purchased 5 of the x-0's now. I've lost two of them. One I left magnetted to a piece of equipment and not seen it again. The other I dropped into 2000 gallon tank of a liquid that I didn't care to dive in after it. So, I keep two around in reserve because they were on sale.

Yes, the shorter battery. The 18650 and the tube are extra as is the inductor. But there is a kit with it all.

Por favor, qual são as dimensões da bateria 1100mAh? Já procurei até no site mas não encontrei. Gostaria de saber pois vou comprar no aliexpress. Pois quero usar só a lanterna sem o extensor no meu capacete de bicicleta.

The only area where our American units are superior is in poetry. “Miles to go before I sleep” works. Kilometers, not so much.
