For real! My thoughts exactly. Its probably the biggest and most active. Thus most likely to survive and they always will give more attention to stronger more vocal chicks. Notice the one half asleep.... that one most likely wont live past a year.

In some species yeah but not these. Rather, the parents only feed whichever chick is the biggest and most active. Once the others get too malnourished they'll either die or the parents will throw them from the nest.
