Disney Star Wars is not Star Wars

One of the problems with George Lucas's prequel trilogy was it had a little too much detail about politial or economic events in the star Wars universe. The original Star Wars movie was a little vague, but it had enough detail to move the story along. Whatever Disney is doing is all utter nonsense.

That's coming directly from Kathleen Kennedy, they broke the Jedi in TLJ when they destroyed Luke's character both physically and mentally. That was just the start. Kathleen Kennedy's intention was always to break apart George Lucas's Star Wars and all the pillars of the franchise's worldbuilding.

Progressive always need to hijack. Deep down they know that they're hacks and frauds. The skinsuit is just there to try to convince gullible people that what they're watching is better than it actually is.

These weird stories these weirdos come up with would probably be much more popular if they had taken the time to create an all new franchise and IP. Trying to change and corrupt existing franchises and IPs only offends people and chases them away. (Of course, the weird stories are really bad, but it's much more noticable when shoving it into an existing and different brand like Star Wars.)

Now we see why they can't make action figures and toys and space ships based on Star Wars today. Kids would want the toys and there are still enough sane parents that would start looking into what this Star Wars is all about. Once the still sizable number of sane parents sees all this nonsense a swift and comprehensive boycott would be the least of Disney's worries.

Modern SW is like someone buying the Friday the 13th rights then claiming this Jason guy is too "problematic" to keep around.

here's the thing- I'm a big star wars fan (not of any of the more "modern" woke stuff), and from my experience, people who gave in to the dark side are usually either very evil, or were manipulated into becoming evil, and almost always ended up being unbelievably damaged mentally in some way or another. The only ecxeption to this was Darth Vectivus, who chose to simply seek more knowledge rather than actually use it to commit any evil. Still, he is what you can call "an exception that proves the norm". So, when weinstein's lap female dog here says that those who give in to the dark side are "opressed" by the light, she's trying to glorify people that, unlike some of the sinner characters from Hazbin Hotel, are genuinly messed up in the head, and have committed atrocities because they are being controlled by their own urges, rather than any sort of morality...so no, I don't accept any of this acolyte show as canon, AT ALL.

Yes those "High Republic" comics and books were so awful. A lot of people don't even know about them. This really is a show based off all that, not OG Star Wars. If you look up those comics it makes sense.

Well no shit it's not OG star wars, it's what happens before phantom menace. High republic isn't total trash, the problem with the show well the main problem besides the obvious ones is they should've made a show earlier in the high Republic so the general audience got an idea of what the HR stuff was about then you make a show like the acolyte so people have something to go off of. Bc the HR represents the rise and fall of the Jedi like a Roman empire type descent. But since they started with a show at the Jedi low point and end of HR era. The only thing people have to base these Jedi off of is the from the past movies.. plus I shouldn't have to watch yt CCs to understand the show. That's a huge problem with the show bad writing, directing which leads to bad acting except stenberg she was already a bad actor and it's shows that she wasn't ready to play an identical twin role.

So then a very important role of the entire series was just handed off to a nobody who was married to the show runner? Got it.

I've read a lot of the High Republic novels that have been published thus far. They are bland, dull, and terribly written. Such a waste of potential.

It'd just be more realistic because much of the time the bad guys do win. I'm thinking of a tragedy kind of like order 66, where the order would be the season finale (NOT that story though, we've already had that in the 2000s prequels). The Jedi would still be the good guys and the Sith still the bad guys. That's just my fan-fiction idea though, I've always wanted to learn more about the Sith- the George Lucas pre-Disney Sith, not this crap.

I'm not sure if the books or the games came first, but there had been games set in the Old Republic since 2003, the first one I know was Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. I personally love KotR 2.
