The real canon is still fine. The 6 movies and all the EU stuff prior to Disney purchasing it is all still there and still canon. Sorry D3P0, my interest in the Acolyte is so nonexistent that I don't even have the will to watch youtube videos discussing it. I dont know what they are getting at but the most powerful being in the Star Wars Universe is Mortis. He keeps balance between The Daughter and The Son. The Daughter representing the Light force and The Son representing the Dark Side. Abeloth, with her is more complicated and I invite you to read about her. She was The Mother at some point but became an entity of destruction. That is the top of the "Food chain" in terms of Force hierarchy. The Force is not Female. The Force is both The Daughter and The Son. The Father makes sure one does not destroy the other. The Mother used to help but became corrupt.

You are probably right about the views going up on this one, and I hate to see that. You know any positive change they are going to talk about how "successful" it is. Even if the next episode's views falls off a cliff they will somehow spin that too. I just watch you guys talk about the series because I refuse to give Disney any money, nor will I spend my time watching their poor product.

this is the one I've been excited for. SW is long dead to me but disneys descent into madness and ruin is hilarious. ep3 might bring the wrath of god that sweeps the rotten SW remains away.

I have always felt that while the viewership will always be there, the responses from the fans will always be the marker that should measure success. Youre gonna make money either way, why not do so with posutive, well thought out storytelling & in depth characters.

Episode three is the real desecration of the “Star Wars” corpse. While I understand people watching out of morbid curiosity, and agree the viewer numbers for the remainder of the series will probably tank out, it grieves me to give them even one night of numbers due to wanting to see the train wreck happen. Oh well….

Before it fades away for good, can I use Disney rules? Always wanted a lightsaber bottle opener, electric razor, driveway snow melting magic sword, a back scratcher, etc…

Everything is clear to me now I can see it. This relates to Anakin Skywalker. They are trying to connect this series directly to Anakin I am willing to bet that Mae becomes a Sith lord, and teaches a young Darth Plageus how to use the midichlorians to create life. In turn meaning these thread witches are responsible for Skywalker.

I know I said I was done with this after ep02, but I had to see ep03 based on the reports. What in the holiest of fucks was that? The biggest sin in this episode was the idea that there were two other people created via the force. Great Job, Leslye, you managed to destroy George's legacy by conducting the ultimate sin, by destroying the prophecy of the chosen one. It had been established many times that Anakin was the one created by manipulation of the force, via Palpatine. Now, though, the force can be used to make a new virgin birth at any time. Add to that the contradiction that the Jedi would want these twins to begin with since they are too old to be trained. According to the original E.U., the Jedi mainly took children into the order shortly after birth. Anakin was a rare exception. This is supposed to be over 100 years before Anakin, and the girls are about the same age as he was in "The Phantom Menace." On a final note. When it comes to diversity, I don't inherently care if someone's a different race or sex, or gay in media, as long as you can act and the characters are more than their diversity, I'm all good. This show, along with other forced diverse crap, isn't going to do diverse people any favors in the long run. It's creating the image that someone is inherently good at everything based on their diversity alone. This is a complete insult to actual diversity, if you ask me. I still believe that this type of content, as well as the actions of the show runners, will create more genuine bigots in the future.

"Ahsoka was supposed to die in order 66" it's not like Dave created her in the first place and had her Arc written out well in advance or at least an idea of where he wanted her character to go. Dave filoni isn't perfect as a writer, but pretty much all of the good Star wars recently produced clone wars, rebels, the mandalorian, The bad batch all were felony creations. He also was responsible for the first season of avatar The last Airbender. A lot of people discount these because they're not live action and thus not real Star wars. But all of the animated Star wars shows are Canon. And everyone that felony worked on is pretty good.
