So at this point i dont think this show CAN fuck up anakin being the chosen one. The twins were made by people manipulating the dark side to create life. Ani was made purely by the force with no outside hand. The twins dont change that

agreed, I actually thought the 2v1 here was more intense and dynamic than both Dooku fights in Attack of Clones and ROTS due to the integration of hand-to-hand with lightsaber combat. Jecki KILLED it as a live-action dual wielder even better than live-action Ashoka herself

Quimir said that a Jedi would call him Sith, not that he is one. I believe that he was trained, by a surviving witch.

I love the frantic fighting, feels more realistic compared to super clean choreography.

I thought so too, that was my struggle with the fights in Ahsoka and Obi-Wan at times. During the Sol/Qimir fight I also really liked that they tried to show more of the Japanese style of sword fighting that star wars is inspired by.

Did anyone notice Kylo's theme at the last scene with Qimir? I think he is a knight of Ren.

The Jedi were known to cover up their failures. This fact irks casual fans. Yoda covered up the origin of the Clone army when they found out. Seems Jedi aren't the good guys like we thought.

@@daniellopez3606 if you nitpick the other fights in the original 6 movies and even just other fight scenes in other films even legendary ones like john wick you will see the same opportunities opponents had to take eachother down, either you want slow less climactic combat in films or you want flashy, imaginative, and exciting combat. That was the best (intro) in The Acolyte series. I liked the 2 Jedi "Sith Kabob "🍡 fight choreography. This was also by far the best episode. As I think back💭 to episode 3. The Witches were all dead b4 the fire consumed & ravaged their covenant. The planet 🌎 The Witches domiciled on wasn't under the jurisdiction of the Republic. So what were The Jedi doing there? Great reaction guys, even better post talk, in terms of “breaking the canon” the only thing that bothers me is that Mundi knows that all these Jedi left to look for this guy that they know is a dark sider, and now everyone’s dead so has to be wondering what this guy is, he’s clearly powerful, being able to kill all these Jedi and two dark warriors showing up in the span of a hundred years would raise even more questions. Even though he’s shitty I don’t want him to be involved in a cover up, which they eluded to in Episode 4. I wanna keep his line in TPM hubris and ignorance. Also Qimir is definitely not the sith master he’s either the apprentice or a pretender. Tenebrous had like 9 force sensitives he was keeping an eye on, and once Plagueis killed him and went through his files on his ship there were only three alive and he went and hunted them down. I think Qimir could be one of those already dead ones but not sure how the timeline works out there or if they care about any of that. He also could be Tenebrous’ failed apprentice before he gets Plagueis. All that said I absolutely loved the fighting, finally getting some amazing lightsaber choreography which I know is important to you guys, it definitely is for me too. (Sry for the essay I just realised how much I fuckin wrote lol)

The fight choreography gotta be my top 5 favorites due to qimir single bladed stances

Amazing fights. I am shocked (in a good way) about some choices they made in that episodes concerning some of the characters.

I think this is my favorite episode so far. Just so much of it is awesome. The acting, the fighting, the armor, the twists. Everything the sith did was so cool that anything I didn’t like as much in previous episodes is wiped away in my mind. I don’t care anymore, it was worth it to reach this point.

Wants to do what he pleases without the Jedi interfering. He knows how idiotic the jedi are and knows no matter what he says he'll be called a sith even if he isn't one. this whole show is about the dogmatic narrow view of the Jedi, solidifying their stupidity from the Preqhels and showing how far back them brushing shit under the rug really goes

I have to write this , if any critics don’t think that this episode was a great episode , I question their motives . This was the best nite Jedi battles vs an amazing Sith Lord Live action that I have ever seen . I personally think too many of these critics are putting their political views ahead of an unbiased view . No matter how one may feel about Disney , let’s give credit where credit is due , fantastic episode !

I can think of at least one place…

Knights of the Old Republic game had sithlords fight up to four Jedi I think this was a very good episode because it eludes more into the culture of sith and the gray area of the force because again we know that there's a big bad coming up in the next hundred years but we don't know what happened between those 100 years

I am once again here to say that Ki-Adi Mundi's line in the PT doesn't mean that Sith have never existed that long. It's meant to show the dogmatic arrogance and complacency of the Jedi. The word 'Sith' simply being said doesn't discredit, change, or alter anything.

Exactly this. Palpatine existed well within these 1000 years. Plagueis too. Even Maul. The Jedi were just ignorant of their existence. The same thing happened in the Old Republic. Everyone thought the Sith to be extinct until Revan ended the Mandalorian war and followed the trail back to the Sith Emperor. There are three more episodes left and since we know the Jedi Council didn't know of the Sith existence.... I already fear for Sol....

@@coreyschleder8418 yep, right now the jedi are just assuming a rogue jedi and their apprentice are killing other jedi. qimir did a good job of killing all the necessary witnesses to make sure the jedi council still doesn't believe the sith are out there. unfortunately for sol, he's probably going to be blamed for this because mae disguised as osha is going to cause more problems for him in front of the jedi.

Kylo Ren's theme music started playing during the Qimir fight scenes so I'm thinking they are hinting that maybe he has some connection with the Knights of Ren?

I can't believe people think this fight scene is better than duel of the fates in phantom menace. It really isn't. It's pretty decent/good I'll admit that but nowhere near as good as the Obiwan and Qui gon vs Maul fight

i'd say it's above duel of the fates personally, don't get me wrong, duel of the fates is good, but i feel like it's one of the weaker duels in the prequels which is more elevated by the presence of a dual blade and the music which is obviously phenomenal, now ray park did an excellent job too of course, obviously no fight holds a candle to anakin vs obi wan though as that one might be just the best

There was some cool momentd ,like the Jedi Kebab or Qimir looking menancing. But waving a saber in the dark makes a good light show but not a good fight scene. Also Mae Ep 4 "l need to turn myself to the Jedi" to ep 5 "lets attack the Jedi "... I won't even go on in the cringe hair cut. Also they didn't even bother to introduce that metal so if you don't have encyclopedic knowledge of the deep lore your kind of lost when that happen,but Disney SW lightsaber aren't dangerous anymore so who Care. They could have a scene in ep 1or2 where Mae act rebellious toward Qimir as a sith and force take his saber and attack and he disable the laser like that. Also Qimir IS so powerfull taking that many Jedi alone,if I'm not mistaken only Sidious did that.This is as long as I can watch it because the show is bad but I'll come leave a thumb up until the end because your channel is cool .

Mae is pragmatic. She was going to hand herself in because it was the best way for her to reunite with Osha again, which is the one thing she wants more than revenge. Then she finds herself alone in a house with a murdered Jedi, knowing that she'd be prime suspect. She's surrounded by Jedi that are unlikely to now let her go free, and the Master she is scared of but was about to betray isn't on another planet, he's right outside too. So now it's about escaping. Surviving. With Osha, ideally - but Osha refuses and sides with the Jedi. So she knocks out Osha, disguises herself as her sister, to go with Sol - simultaneously getting away from her Master who wants to kill her, and also placing herself in a position where she can finish getting her revenge. What about any of that doesn't make sense?

Like thinking the Jedi would give her a pass in ep4 when she killed 2 Jedi ( potato potato she did bring the poison so 2) then in ep5 she could have let herself arrested like her dumb ep4 plan . Same thing killing 2 or 3 jedi at this point so it doesnt matter at this point if she's arrested for one more, she was already prime suspect for 2 so no need to change her plan.

@redfrenchmoon2405 I'm not saying that she wasn't being a bit optimistic about handing herself in to the Jedi - she was. She probably thought that having only really killed one Jedi (one who probably did have a hand in the demise of her family - we'll see) and knowledge to trade about her Master would be enough for leniency. Then suddenly, the Jedi she was going to hand herself in to is also dead, and her Master is outside, so the knowledge she was going to trade isn't worth anything now either. And that's assuming that there are any Jedi left after the battle to hand herself over to anyway. Makes perfect sense that she'd change her plan as the situation changed. She'd have been stupid not to.

Except for his red lightsaber I don't know what other knowledge she had of her master. A bit optimistic is an understatement and regardless of the show trying to justify her actions by making the Jedi playing a role in her familiy's death she still killed so I still don't quite get if saying "my master has a red lightsaber" would have absolved her of her crimes and not be sentence to jail.

@redfrenchmoon2405 She obviously had knowledge of how to contact him, or where he could be found. That would have been valuable information to the Jedi if they wanted to get the one who was orchestrating the killings. Maybe it would be enough of a bargaining chip to get Mae off without jail time. Maybe not. Another factor is what happened with Mae & Osha's family. If the Jedi did kill them all, then the Jedi might be willing to overlook Mae killing Master Indara in revenge just to keep it all quiet.

This show is terrible
