Acedeck keep hitting home runs. The original NYX was amazing. Still cannot believe they could make it even better. Great review Scott. Awesome location too.

Nice review. I got the NYX‐Z1 AT for Christmas. Goes good. I lost a bushing too. Turns out it is a common problem with channel trucks (MBS etc). If you run the bushes loosish, when you turn sharply the truck lifts off the outside bush and it can bounce off the grub screw and fall out. Threaded some cable ties through the trucks to stop them falling out. Ugly but problem solved. I might try and CAD up a tidy solution and send to acedeck.

I've been enjoying the Acedeck range of videos! Bit the bullet the other day and ordered the NYX 2023 with 14S5P for the range - Can't wait for it to arrive in a few months as an early birthday treat😅. Awesome to see the hota street wheels in action on road and offroad, hoping to get these as extras later on and squeeze more range. I'll make sure to use loctite when I change the bushings too - great tip 🤣

I have the 120 amp version and absolutely love it. My only gripe is clearance. I bang the gearbox on every ride. It could use a 9 inch tire option for better clearance. The Lorentz "Major" and eco-mobl "Tellum" have bigger tire options.

I went with a Trampa board it came with bindings though pretty similar of a ride... electric mountain boards are the way to go for a summer time board

I like it, trying to do a comparison between it and the nomad and they seem extremely similar. Same battery, tires, ESC, motors... Just the NYX Street has better ground clearance and different truck style? I'm surprised at the minimal difference between them, but i think that speaks more to the nomad's excellence than the NYX lacking anything. For my purposes i think the Nomad is still gonna be the one. Do you know if they're a different gear drive?

All boards should have 1000+Wh battery as standard. It's so nice to see companies pumping out options with insane specs.

on the website it says there is a rear light, but haven't seen it shown on any of the footage on the internet. Can you please confirm it functions as rear light and not JUST brake light? Thanks

  • @scottdaviesyoutube

Yea you need to press the lower button 2 or 3 times to activate the rear light and it then also acts as a brake light when you brake

Hey Scott, great review! I have the AT version in my cart (with your affiliate code). Just have a question how do you think it compares with the Onsra Velar? I prefer longer range and more power of the NYX but Velar has a much cleaner look. Thanks!

Hey Scott, there’s a great deal going on this board right now. Do you think I should get it even though I won’t be able to ride it much because winter is coming here or are there some better things coming in the near future on the market that I should wait for since I can’t ride much now anyways.??

Question on import duty from Acedeck. Is the price GST and duty covered? If not, what's the expected costs on the way in? I had to pay 20% GST and duty and fees on my last battery import, wondering if this is the same. Cheers.

Depends if you want true off-road suspension the Propel is the way to go, For a fast, road and trial wheel but no suspension the NYX is really hard to beat, and does have ALOT more torque, after my code they are both bloody good deals I did recently makes video and named the NYX as my all time favourite board

I got my NYX-Z1 and I am extremely happy, until I wasn't, new system that slots inside of the gearing system contains transparent rubber cushioning to allow for smoother acceleration and braking, unfortunately that rubber has shredded to oblivion, if u get a chance could u check urs and give me a shout back on condition of those components please, I belive they are polyurethane
