@@windsofmarchjourneyperrytr2823 mice will always find a way in if you give them a reason to. once 2 mouses are in the building they'll repopulate like crazy, which means even if the exterminator fixed everything, even if the mice come from the outside with 1 of the employees (as we saw that the bin is right outside the back entrance) then they'll nest somewhere, enough food to go around, so they start another nest, they're quick little buggers.

The mouse thing was funny, because they wait for Gordon to be out of earshot and then the truth comes out. I wish the crew would have said "well in the kitchen just then, why did you say there's mice all over the place"? No mouse catcher comes once a month unless there's an active problem. They’re in New Jersey, it’s not at all uncommon to have regular exterminator visits as a preventative measure there. As for accusing Gordon of planting the mouse, I’d say it’s 50/50. Fabricated sensational bullshit is Gordon’s bread and butter when filming his American market shows.

There have been definite moments on the show that were too convenient to be true. A lady just happening to be a pescetarian, for example. This place has mouse issues and a mouse is in the front porch just as Gordon arrives.

Part of me wants to believe that maybe the camera crew planted a mouse to get Ramsey's reaction. But everything changed when one guy was like "we got mice all over"

Owner doesn't want the servers to be honest with the customers or take dishes back to the kitchen to be fixed, owner won't tell the cooks they are screwing up because she's worried they will freak out, the cooks don't give a damn, and she couldn't understand why her business was failing.

Fiesta Sunrise has always triggered me. The mom wants Chef to, and I quote "Kick Vic's butt" yet she allowed her husband to open another restaurant when the first one failed, said husband made a piss poor attempt at renaming the place, kept the old menu+crew and manages it the exact same way he did the failed one. The cherry atop the shit cake is that they used their own daughter's credit to get the new location when they knew damn well it was gonna fail miserably like the last one. The daughter's husband had every right to flip that table imo, since his paychecks are being used to sustain Vic's failing restaurant and the mom not realizing sooner that it was going to ruin her own daughter's life and credit. Honestly hope the Daughter and her husband recovered from this.

At the first restaurant shown, Charlie's Italian Bistro, it turned out that the chef was just some guy who happened to be Italian but had no idea how to cook. Sadly Ramsay's intervention came too late, Charlie's Italian Bistro closed just 9 months after filming and just 6 months after their episode aired.

I was shocked when he accused Gordon of planting the mouse. I have watched endless episodes, and i see him find an issue and pick it like a scab. Like the menu, pointing out the guy started a new restaurant just like the one that failed. Why plant a mouse? That one kitchen staff was right, take responsibility. He is there to help. He isnt there to jerk anyone off and lie to them.

I can't stand managers/owners who stand there and get mad that their employees are answering Ramsay's questions. They don't want to take the heat but get mad at how the server/waiter is.

I always found it funny that with all the times he's had to close down service due to disgusting kitchen practices, he still approached each restaurant with almost blind optimism and would order food before doing any inspection. The one time he did inspect the kitchen first, nothing was wrong and yet that was the one time he walked away

Couple things I love in an episode of kitchen nightmares. 1) the sympathetic chef who is handicapped by poor ownership. 2) the server who doesn’t hold anything back and is brutally honest about all the problems. 3) the ultra delusional owners getting brought down to earth by Gordon.

RIP Genevieve. Such a shame. Life is precious.
