I love 💘 the supergoop mineral primer/sunscreen! It fills in my pores and provides mineral sunscreen which is my preferred type of sunscreen instead of the chemical ones!

I'd love a tutorial on how to reapply sunscreen once you've put your makeup on. I'm good with putting on sunscreen before makeup and try to stay away from the sun, but how do you not ruin your makeup if you need to reapply a few hours later? Thanks for all your hard work!

Yes!! The only way I can do it is by using sprays but they’re often greasy and melt my makeup down

Try a mineral powder formula sunscreen to reapply over makeup or a "spray on" SPF ... I use the Vichy SPF 50 Invisible Mist 💞.

I use Vichy mist Idéal Soleil SPF 50. It's amazing. Dark light proofs show that it is really effective and you don't even notice it in the skin. It's not oily, dry touch and has a refreshing effect. You can reapply over makeup without problem. And the prize is pretty good. I use it over Isdin Fusion Water SPF 50+ and both work fantastically. And I am very fair of skin (Mac NW15).

I'm always on the hunt for a mineral sunscreen that isn't too heavy, so I was particularly interested to see the EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum Sunscreen. It should be noted, however, it is not solely a mineral sunscreen, it also contains a chemical sunscreen ingredient (Octinoxate). Thought it should be mentioned if anyone (like me) is looking for a 100% physical product.

Looking stunning, giving solid & unbiased recommendations, and wonderfully charming as always 💜

Andrea, you should try Paula’s choice sunscreens. There is a matte one that is so lightweight and works as a great primer, and a hydrating fluid version that is also incredibly lightweight. They’re so amazing and have not irritated my very acne-prone skin!

I used that one too. It is like a tinted moisturizer, but works well under foundation too. Definitely no breakouts either. Been using that one for years now

I love the super light wrinkle defense. Totally agree that it works great as a primer and hasn't caused any breakouts! I tell everyone about it now because I searched for what felt like forever for a sunscreen that didn't break me out! 😟

Yes, please share this look! Josie Maran has a great spf. In white (which turns clear) and tinted which most can wear. (She shows fair skin to deep skin ladies applying it.) i gives a nice look to the skin & on good skin days I go without any other foundation.

Thank you for this great overview Andreea. I love the tinted face suncreen from Alga Maris by Biarritz. It is the perfect option for those days when you don't want to wear makeup but still prefer an even skin complexion - for me the best tinted sunscreen and moisturizer in one.

i use the biore. it works as a SPF and primer. Great for the chest area .It does not stain your clothe. I also use Elta MD but the tinted version,. it plays very well under my serums and skin care.

I found Ella last year and love it for my base under moisturizer. My face does not break out and it leaves a beautiful canvas for tinted moisturizer or blush. I just bought another bottle on sale for $27.00! Andrea, please do a video on this makeup look. Your eyes and lip color are stunning.

Thank you! I personally love the ISDIN Photo Ultralight Emulsion. Ive had a few skin cancer surgeries so I like that It also helps deal w Actinic damage. It has to be shaken.(kind of fun) No white cast AND 100% mineral. it's so light and moisurizing. $38 -50. But a little goes a long way!

@@heba30003 it really depends on your skin type and how much you actually apply. Also it has a lot of alcohol so that may be drying your skin

My favorite sunscreens are Isdin Fusion Water SPF 50+ (although It was better before they reformulated it), Eucerin Dry Touch Sun Gel-cream SPF 50+ or Rilastil Sunlaude Water Touch SPF 50+ for first protection and Vichy Idéal Soleil mist SPF 50 for reapplying. All of them are lightweight, non-comedogenic, not oily and work pretty well under makeup and by themselves (although Isdin Fusion Water sometimes makes little balls, but only if you rub your face). I've always prefered my sunscreens from pharmacy brands than from cosmetic ones.

It took me wayyy too long to realize you were talking about pilling and not peeling. Love your accent! I just tried out Kylie Skin’s sunscreen and I think it works pretty well under makeup.

I have very oily skin which is also maturing, I recently bought Mychell tinted spf 50 mineral sunscreen in light/medium so far I haven't broke out, and it helps control the oil pretty well ,make up over it is lovely, I have used estee lauder double wear it was awesome

My holy grail is Sesderma Invisible fluid. An Spanish laboratorie. It’s such a beautiful texture, hydrates without been greasy or oily and you feel that it’s doing somethingfor your skin. Eucerin dry touch is fabulous too under makeup but doesn’t hydrates at all. Isdin Age repai is fluid, hydrating and the texture is nice. Thanks for the whole explanation Andrea! That “Farmers something” catches my attention

You look absolutely beautiful in this video! Love this kind of content. Could you please share your best tips on applying foundation after sunscreen, so that the sunscreen stays intact to protect our skin? I find that brushes will move the sunscreen around and if I wait for the sunscreen to dry first, it becomes hard to spread the foundation.

I use the elta MD sunscreen and love that it does not make my foundation slippery on top!

For everyone who has a very sensitive reactive skin to sunscreens like me I have two brands to recommend. The AHC and d'Alba sunscreens till now are only ones which didn't cause acne, irritation or other skin troubles. They are both Korean brands and they are worth to try😃

Try the tinted version as well of the Elta MD sunscreen! Amazing!! Also, if you get pilling with this sunscreen that’s a sign you need less serums.

My favourite is Heliocare 360 Gel - Oil Free. It's for acne prone skin. No white, dry-touch and great INCI (mineral + chimical filters)

Since when I discovered it i use Biore' SPF i never left it! It is not greasy (i have a combination skin), it absorb fast (i have only 15 minutes care/make up routine every working day) and especially it doesn't peel whatever product you used before. Plus since I use SPF every day i wanted something affordable and this is. Another one really good is Eucerin dry touch, also great.

I’ve been using suntegrity 5 in 1 tinted sunscreen for years now. I love it because it’s the only skincare I really need which is nice

Thank you for having done this video Andreea! I use the make p:rem and the biore sunscreens you mention and I like them! I would like to try the Thank you farmer, it seems great. My holy grail sunscreens that work very well on my skin, under makeup & no matter what type of serum I'm using are from Vichy: 1/ "Idéal Soleil spf 50 ultra léger & frais" very good under matte foundation and during winter; 2/ "Capital soleil UV-age daily spf 50" It's a water fluid sunscreen with UVB=50 & UVB=49!!! 😘

I use avene’s antirougeurs unify. I don’t suffer with redness but it’s great for sensitive skin & it’s tinted so evens out my skin & no need for anything on top. Highly recommend for dry skin.

One of the best sunscreens I have ever used is the Jan Marini Skin Research SPF 45. I worked with that product for over 17 years as a medical esthetician and I have not found anything better.
