The birthday one really got to me ngl. Back in 2020 just before the lockdown it was this kid's birthday and i was 30 minutes late, i felt really bad about it. Then i showed up and i was the only one there, i felt horrible and its obvious he did too. We ended up watching Child's play and thankfully 2 other people showed up but he invited around 11. I really hope hes doing better wherever he is now

The World Trade Center liminal space picture really resonated with me tbh. It's the first time I see this picture, but it reminded me of a story that my dad once told me. He has told me stories about his youth, his life, and his dreams that he used to have. When he was young, their family could not afford to travel outside from the country we are native to, so he had never traveled to the US. However, he dreamt of watching a basketball game with Michael Jordan, going to Disneyland someday, and visiting cities like New York. Especially, he told me how much he wished to visit some of the landmarks of the city, including the Twin Towers. Of course, time went by, and the first time he got to visit New York City was in 2005. Therefore, he never got to visit the towers, and now that I look at the picture, I can imagine he would've visited that place (maybe with me and my siblings) if only things were different
In the back of my high school art teacher's classroom there was a whole hallway that looked completely different from everything else and looked different

During COVID-19 I went to M and Ds theme park (I live in Scotland) to go to Amazonia (a small indoor zoo-like area in the park) to do some research for my degree at university. When I got to M and Ds it was completely empty and felt strange. I always remembered the park being so busy you could barely move and seeing it so dead made me feel like I was in an episode of Scooby Doo or something... Its doing better now that COVID is over but it was weird at the time
I remember being in this Miami airport. How its brimming with life despite it looking like an artifact of the 80 or 90s. There’s just one part of that airport that’s deserted. It’s a baggage area that’s right next to one of the exits. It’s poorly lit and there’s no life in there. It’s such an odd feeling to go from swimming in a crowd full of people. Only to be isolated in a desolate area just as you leave.
I once attended a party at Windows on the World which was the restaurant at the top of the WTC. So I experienced two liminal spaces at once.
I have a obsession and fascination by Skyscrapers the World Trade Center Liminal Space is definitely nostalgic for me despite not even going there I was only 1 year old back in 2001.

This is what I’ve been waiting for thanks zeep!
I was in a thrift store yesterday, I was looking at a stack of CD’s that they were selling for $2.50 a pop. Many of which span many decades. Figuring that some were in children’s bedrooms or the family living room by the major entertainment center back in the 1990s. Side note, thrift stores are a great place to find CDs, tapes, and records.
A lot of childhood memories and things have been coming back in my life lately I feel like I might just run into a nostalgic liminal space I hope I do
1:31 As a 23 yr old from Pittsburgh PA, I can confirm the doors at my middle and high school looked precisely like that. Both the middle and high school had a pair of double doors BY the locker rooms on the sides or backs of the buildings. On outdoor gym days, guys and girls would simultaneously exit the locker rooms and then exit out the doors into the courtyard. What is pictured is not my school, but my school colors were blue, so the image takes me back. To the big heavy deteriorated doors by the locker rooms.
I must officially be old, because I distinctly remember a high school field trip to the World Trade Center and seeing that empty observatory area full of people. It was indeed a beautiful view. Also, my high school was a WPA construction project from the 30s, and you can tell when new additions were Frankensteined onto it.
Your channel is very comforting and nostalgic for me
The thing that always scared me about Super Mario 64 growing up was Big Boo's Haunt, especially that dann piano!
5:00 i remember i was in my kindergarten class when the event happen. It was around 8:10am in the morning after doing the morning pledge and hearing the morning announcements, my teacher was gonna turn off the tv until another teacher came busting in and tell her to change it to regular tv and as she did we saw the news about one of the towers being hit and soon after the second one, as 4-5 year kids we were and no knowledge of what's going on we all though it was a movie and went wow until our teacher looked at us with a shocked face telling us that this wasnt a movie and that people were getting hurt. After what she had said the whole room stayed silent as the news kept playing in the background
I LITERALLY got done watching your aesthetics video zeepsterds are EATINGG
I’m from Pennsylvania Zeep. I can confirm as a middle schooler and have been to the our high school a lot of our doors do look like this
An empty basketball gym will never seem like a liminal space to me. Just seems like a good place to get some jump shots up and work on my game without being bothered lol
Despite growing up in the UK, Liminal spaces (which are predominantly US based) still get me with the nostalgia for the most part. I do find that different Liminal Spaces affect differently, some might remind me of my very young years, whereas others invoke from my yearly teen years. But all stem from memories when the world was simpler, when my adult brain hadn't started worrying about my future education/my future career prospects/financial worries/politics etc. I was about 6 when 9/11 happened, so the war on terror etc was during much of my nostalgic period, yet it was beyond my child brain to worry about it.
Back in 2015, I used to be a newspaper delivery worker (11pm-6am) I would deliver newspaper to businesses, stores, & gas stations Most locations would require you to leave their paper in a bundle outside the entrance (obviously cause they were closed) It almost feels like a whole different world around that time: 3am, empty streets, parking lots, & no one, or almost no one around Idk if it's because I'm an introvert (infp) but this was one of my favorite jobs, if not, the most favorite job I ever had No boss or coworkers over your shoulder, no complaining customers, just you, your vehicle, & your newspaper It's kind of a shame print has pretty much died out, I'd still be working there otherwise, except the routes would usually take a toll on your gas tank, & the occasional drunk, junkie, hobo, or drunk driver, but most of those are few & far between I think the closest thing to that nowadays are jobs like DoorDash, Grubhub, & UberEats, specially if you deliver at night I mean I've ordered a burger from McDonald's or Carl's Jr around 2am before I think I really liked working a job like that cause I spent the next 6 years working overnight stocking positions at large retail stores No customers b¡tching & empty aisles, it was pretty dope
I missed all the old birthday parties from chuckle cheeses now they’re just fading memories that are forgotten
As a Pennsylvania resident, I do believe that all PA schools look like that

although I wasn't there long, I went to Oxford High School in Pennsylvania and does keep true to what you said of Pennsylvania high schools having a liminal space aura to it. Idk if you can find a overhead view or an actual picture of the school because in the middle of the building it has a courtyard of sorts where students can walk from side of the school to another and that can give some liminal space vibes.
twin tower picture lookin fire
Let's go. Aesthetics part 2.
I don't get liminal space vibes from that WTC pic. If anything it feels so creepy and haunting knowing what happened to it months later.
Hey Zeep i really hope you see this comment but I remember you being mentioned in a Mars Reviews Video years ago(you playing Garfield) and I was wondering what ever happened to him he just disappeared and I loved his videos
I had that same pirate cake for my 5th birthday
Btw they took out Gandhi they left him frozen and introduced new characters the characters are Confucius,Harriet Tubman, Frida Kahlo, Christopher Columbus
Hey, I actually have that game. 8:55
I do live in Pennsylvania but I haven't been to my highschool in 10 years
I don't know if I'm alone in this but I don't feel anything while looking at liminal spaces pictures.
1:31 That is Kiski Area High School located in the Pittsburgh area. No, not all high schools in that area look like that. Just look at Mt. Lebanon, Bethel Park, Upper St. Clair, Keystone Oaks, etc. as further examples.
Lost character request: Maria Recamier from Allo Allo
None of these give me nostalgia but there really fun to watch
I was never afraid of Wet dry world surprisingly
I do get the same feeling that I’ve been there before
My 10th birthday I was recovering from surgery and I was covered in bandages all over my head and nobody came.
