The 99-year-old St. John’s war memorial is getting a makeover - and a new tomb for unknown soldiers

What is usually a landmark for Remembrance Day ceremonies in St. John’s is a construction zone. Newfoundland and Labrador is preparing to bring home an unknown soldier that died in the First World War in northern France. Renovating the national historic site is quite the undertaking - and Mark Brace, 30, says he is up to the task.
