Set against the vibrant backdrop of 1980s New York City, "Spider-Man" follows the story of Peter Parker (played by Ralph Macchio/Michael J. Fox), a bright but socially awkward teenager from Queens. After being bitten by a radioactive spider during a field trip to Oscorp, Peter gains extraordinary abilities, including superhuman strength, agility, and the power to cling to walls.
