I have a 7 string electric guitar but no bass. My solution, I use Garage Band's Vocal Transformer Female To Male effect + Bass Amp Emulator. I showed a friend who plays bass the results, he said "oh my god fuck you 😮!!!!" 😅

Ibanez certainly make unique basses

Awesome demo 😎🤘🏻🎸 I’ve tried out an Ibanez btb bass when I was younger and I thought it was a phenomenal bass. And it’s pretty cool to see a 7-string version of a btb bass. The only 7-string bass I’ve tried was made by Conklin and at the time, I couldn’t fit my hand around it. Especially since the neck was thick and chunky. However I was able to fit my hand around a 6-string bass. Anywho, if I see this bass at any music store, I would give it a shot.

I have this same bass..im selling it too its mint condition no scratches or anything...hardshell case..bartolini pickups..it sounds excellent but imma stick to the 5 and 6 string lol

I've got a fretted and fretless Conklin bass....they are very cool....

I have one of these. The controls are volume / blend so “maxed out” would mean neck pickup only, I think. Nice playing.

Yes, it's pretty tight but it really feels just right.

I stand corrected once again. This is directly from Ibanez: factory tuning 1F,2C,3G,4D,5A,6E,7B - I actually have an unedited clip of me asking the guy at Sam Ash if it was a high F but he didn't know. Still this is my fault and I will fix it. Thanks, again for pointing that out!

@progrockjock Well I deserve the razzie award as well(perhaps more so, as I play chords on 7's and 8's all the time) I was really looking(and listening)hard at those chords you play in the beginning and it didn't seem like standard tuning. Anyway, cool channel(that Kay upright must have been really good to make that trade)😊 Anyway I subbed. Bounce on over to my channel for a minute if you're curious at all. I like your playing, man!...I'm not sure if I'm saying this right because I have yet to completely solve music theory, but it appears that you cross through the Mixolydian & Hindu scales. not sure what you mean but I displayed the wrong tuning. The factory tuning for the BTB is as follows: 1F,2C,3G,4D,5A,6E,7B

Oh, yes. All 7 strings are round wounds.

That's Correct: 1F,2C,3G,4D,5A,6E,7B - Either way, I realized I was initially wrong after filming this video. I updated the text in the video to reflect this but it obviously didn't stick.
