@@Cody042 I guess state to state people ride safer? So people in Connecticut drive safer than people in New Jersey, but not nearly as safe as people in Arizona. Watch out for the riders from North Dakota they’re super unsafe. Lmao 😂 get real my dude. Do you smoke meth as a hobby? Apparently a few years ago there was a law preventing certain states from winning giveaway bikes and I’m just trying to find out if Florida is still one of those states.

Except Max risk has been to a track. He doesn’t go daily, or go like he should. But he has been. Max risk is more of an entertainer than someone to look up to like a lot of kids do. There’s plenty of better riders. But they are smart riders. And don’t intentionally cause crashes for views. Riding with max risk is riding at max risk. Ride your own ride. And ride safe.

Then there is the Performance Bagger Bro, the big brother of Dyna bro, who puts more money into his early 2000's Harley Davidson bike than what he paid for it. He lives for obscenely large displacement V-twin motors, racing inspired suspension, carbon fiber everything, and looking down on anyone who DOESN'T have t-bars because thats what the King of the Bagger racers use. He can usually be found at the local Harley Shop giving away unsolicited advice on what mods everyone should do to their bike while simultaneously bragging about how much all his mods cost.

Yam, I'm loving it, but you left out the lone wolf rider who started on a 60's Vespa with a Stella engine 15 years ago because he liked the style and has loved vintage bikes ever since but never could afford them. He briefly owned an '87 BMW R65 that he found on Craigslist for a song but ended up selling it just as cheap because the parts were going to cost more than the bike and he had to move to New Orleans anyway but he still wishes he had kept it. After totaling the Vespa he got a modern 150cc Taiwanese clone of a CB125 because the company that made it used to be the manufacturing plant that made the original, and he seemed to need nothing more and would have ridden it forever but, being New Orleans, it got stolen and he descended into a dark place. He couldn't afford the late 70's/early 80's CB750 he wanted to cafe out to replace it, so instead blew $1500 on some early 90's Nighthawk that he got some help from a buddy to make road worthy again and now it's his daily raider. And when I say daily, I mean he can't afford a car on his dishwasher salary. Despite being too proud to ask anyone who cares about him for a handout he still manages to scratch together the dough to keep the bike running, at least fixing/replacing parts whenever they fail, causing him to occasionally take an embarrassing skid. But he always gets up, dusts himself off, fixes up the bike as best he can, and keeps riding. He could go into a lot more detail but should probably stop talking in the 3rd person and a lot of the other details of his life are too painful to relate as a youtube response.

I got a laugh out of that one. I've never owned a DR, but when returning to riding, they were certainly at the top of the list. They were edged out by a bargain retro that was too good of a deal to be ignored. Japanese, of course.

As a forest squid from Finland i feel like i'm evolving to be a cross between the dual sport savant and canyon assasin. My riding motto has always been "Just slap pirelli scorpions on it and you'll do 100mph on gravel just fine"

I was a dual sport savant for many, many years...XL600R, KLR650, used to moto camp with just a poncho and poncho liner all the time. Now I guess I'm a "Long Distance Rider", but I take exception to the "Goldwing or K1600, no exceptions". You totally left out us sport tourers. I've put in hundreds of thousands of miles on a GPz1100, and now on a Concours 14, and yes, I have done an IBA Saddlesore. These days I just commute 2 hours a day and ride on weekends, haven't done a LD ride in a while....maybe I'm not a true LD rider anymore because I've been to all my kids graduations.

Lol. I started to fall under the "dual sport" stereotype, but then it went too far into DIY part. I switched from bigger bikes to small, and the resemblance kind of stops there. Fun video - definitely met a few "adventure" guys on expensive BMW GSs.

Oh yeah, some of them running an irrational bore up. One of the guy I know that's an underbone demon, run 280cc bore up on his daily underbone

I don't consider myself an expert. I'm the old guy that started riding in 1982 (ANYTHING I could get my hands on!). 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, Harley Davidsons I would 'borrow' in high school to ride to the beach and chase cougars. I have 2 old school sport bikes and 1 of the first true naked bikes. I ride them because they feel good. Know your limitations, don't push your bike too hard on the street, and ride like you are invisible to everyone but the cops. That's how you get old and still do wheelies through town.
