@@tempejkl actually I think the original number is wrong as when I looked it up again only 1.5 million people died. I think the Orginal source counted injured and killed people and counted the battles that occurred to free the city.

What I hate in this mode is that river crossings. Frontlines do not recognize them as border so if you do not micro each and every tile you are bound to make mistakes.

And its the 6th Army, encircled ofcourse its gonna mimic like being in those two places, that whole encirclement was death fodder for the German Army, especially with the failed attempts of the Luftwaffe to supply them with the required supplies needed.
