Akufo-Addo was born and raised in Accra, the son of Edward and Adeline Akufo-Addo. He received his primary education in Accra, first attending the Government Boys School and then Rowe Road School. Akufo-Addo went on to the United Kingdom for his secondary education, studying at Lancing College (1957-61). He came back home to Ghana and in 1964 began attending the University of Ghana, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in economics in 1967. Akufo-Addo returned to the U.K. to study law and was called to the bar in England (Middle Temple) in 1971 and in Ghana in 1975. He worked in France at the Paris office of the U.S. law firm Coudert Brothers from 1971 to 1975. He then returned to Ghana and from 1975 to 1979 worked in the chambers of U.V. Campbell. In 1979 he cofounded the law firm Akufo-Addo, Prempeh & Co. (Source: ENCYCLOPAEDIA BRITANNICA)

The dumb NDC and the other extreme opposition want Nana Addo to just share the money and spend it on food alone. This is one of the effective grassroots project that will go down in history of Ghana…… God bless you Nana Addo however, find everlasting solution to food crises in the big cities especially Accra.

My problem is that it has taken too long. It started during the first term of the government and they should have completed by now. I hope it doesn’t stay uncomplicated with the change of government like so many others we’ve seen.

Let's be honest and fair to ourselves. This government has done so so well. Like it or hate it, NDC wants J.D Mahama to come to power to do what?.Anyway it's the democratic right of every Ghanaian to make a choice, but our choices should be well thought through such that we don't make any mistake to bring back any incompetent and mediocre person ,to ruin all these gains.GHANAINS SHINE YOUR EYES OOOH!

Dumbfounded is an understatement I am flabbergasted. Such a historical site needs to be revamped for the sake of tourism, and so is Cape Coast and Elimina, which is already fetching a lot of $$$$$ for the government of Ghana 🇬🇭 this is no Brainer bro. For the love of me, I don't get it.

So the fishing harbour will not bring money? Or the citing of the fishing harbour there has wiped out the areas history. Go and think of another reason for criticising the location of harbour. Is it skin pain!!!!!

@elliotvulley415 revamp means to protect it or beautify the neighborhood, get rid of public lactrines, and build more modern facilities like gift shops, restaurants, malls, etc. Protect the lighthouse that everyone wants to see for people to visit to enjoy. That was my argument. Sometimes, people need to take time to read and analyze before they open their mouth. My premise was that the government needed to protect all our historical national treasures. I am not any party affiliate. Check my name. I am a typical Ghanaian 🤪 even though I don't live in Ghana at the moment, I am excited to see new development. Kwame Nkrumah Museum is attracting a lot of visitors, and so are Cape Coast and Elimina Castles. There are more castles that are not getting attractions in part because of the areas in which they are located. Developing the areas will throw more spotlights, and they will also benefit. Do I make sense now? Africa holds about 70 slave dungeons. Out of it, we Ghanaians hold about 48 of them

Well done to ghana my country. But every democracy adopted by a white man comes with a cost and pain. This is built so that government will take over fish industry from Fishermen. So when the caught fish they sell to government direct and get less money. Recently or last year similar structure was commissioned in elimina, the 80 million building. Soon government will take control , but what is the government using the tax for to benefit it citizens. Because this will generate alot of income by selling fish to most landlocked country in Africa, and Europe. How is ghana government helping the Fishermen?

Eeeish! some Ghanaians and vile propaganda over we should cherish what belongs to us, we must not always wear political lens to spoil any good thing done with such scarce resources. My concern is our maintenance culture. There must be strict and regular maintenance regimes in place to ensure this facility last.😮
