Please work on your commentaries. It should be short and crisp. If you know an area is a security zone, you just mention it’s a security zone but you don’t go ahead to explain why it’s a security zone. That’s not the job of a reporter especially on social media. Elsewhere, you can find yourself in trouble for such reportage.

Yes, the house were like that, all bunced together and hardly and space for roads. Remember the history of the Gas. They lived in communities like that for protection against outsiders. However they have been pushed so far and almost into the sea by the new invaders from all over Ghana. Because after independence they stretched their hands to welcome all visitors and at the end you can see the results of their goodwill. A whole lot of their land were stolen and as a result they have been punished almost into the sea. When you look at Osu, Labadi, Teshie, Nungua, and Tema it’s the same thing. These situations need to be corrected and to stop the build up of any tribal tensions. Building the harbour was the right thing to do but there should have been a lot space reserved for the indigenous population. I hope it’s the case.

So what happened to the indigenous Ga people living there before the harbour was rebuilt? Were they relocated or allowed back after the reconstruction? I hope you can go there and hear Ga spoken
