I got 4/50. The most surprising thing in this video was: «Oh, I earned this Platinum. It wasn’t that hard... oh, the hard trophy is on the DLC list. That explains why I never heard of this trophy.» Good video. I enjoyed it while grinding some trophies. The guests made it extra special.

Great video! Funny you mentioned the Crash Bandicoot 1 Stormy Ascent DLC time trial trophy. I am going through Crash 1-4 now starting with 1 and I just got the Stormy Ascent time trial trophy yesterday, so I understand your frustration all too well. It took me a good 5-6 hours to get it and every second was an absolute nightmare. Definitely one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in a video game and really makes me worry about the plat for Crash 4 when I eventually get there. I also had a good laugh (and cry lol) with a lot of these games because I have the plat for more than half I would say. I did DMC 3 and FF9 back to back last year and I still think to this day it took years off my life 😂 The jump roping game in FF9 especially deserves a place in hell, and I STILL have trauma over it 😂

W list! The 3 hardest trophies I own are for getting gold rank in SF5, clearing very hard arcade in Bleed (perma death mode with no heals), and defeating Marie 300% for skullgirls. Defeating Marie was the hardest trophy for my hardest platinum !

Great video and nice with the cameos. I have 6 from the list with a couple of them done twice. The Shadow of Mordor isn't as difficult as it sounds. Shadow mounting a graug to eat the captains and war chiefs makes the task much easier. The Curtain Falls also has to be done with Robin, Catwoman and Nightwing so four times the pain 😉

Great vid and great picks! I have the "get A life" trophy from hotline miami and even though i wouldnt say its that hard, i can definetly see why you'd put it on a list like this it sure is a time commitment and a big learning curve for sure. I would say the "1-800 GODDAMN" trophy from Hotline miami 2 is much harder tho i just remember hours upon hours of frustration when getting that trophy. But three other trophies that weren't on the list that i think deserve a mention for difficulty is "Becomes the master" from Titanfall 2, "Yharnham Pthumerian Queen" and "Orphan of Kos" from Bloodborne are all very tough trophies imo. "Becomes the master" i found to be a really tough trophy because the constant repetition and muscle memory required to achieve it. "Yharnham Pthumerian Queen" i think is really tough mainly bc you have to go through the defiled chalice dungeon which gives you half health and is just soul crushing bc of the amygdala boss. "Orphan of Kos" is just infuriatingly difficult bc of how unpredictable his boss fight is and how much damage he deals but is a very fun challenge regardless.

@@PlatinumBro I'd probs give the first Hotline Miami like a 6/10 bc its difficult but i think its very doable with a bit of commitment to learning its mechanics and using the right masks can be a big help as well. But going for Hotline Miami 2 is gonna be quite the challenge for sure haha. The guide gives it a 6/10 but i would probs give it a 8/10 bc of 2 trophies. "1-800 GODDAMN" is the A+ for every chapter trophy and it is much harder than the first bc of the increased difficulty and more complex level design of hotline miami 2, also the score system is incredibly petty in the 2nd game you could perform perfectly never dropping combo and still get an A rather than A+ bc you only stuck with one or two weapons rather switching it up. Also there are no masks in Hotline 2 instead there are different characters with different abilities making getting A+ even harder. The other trophy that makes this game an 8 imo is "1-800 GETHELP" that require you to finish the game on hard mode. In hard mode the camera is inverted, there harder enemies in earlier levels and more blocked pathways that previously had doors and a lot more windows preventing cover. But even with this difficulty i think Hotline Miami 2 is still worth your time it's writing, world building and characters are incredibly well done and interesting. I think the plat would make for a good vid if you go for it but it is a tough one for sure.

Nice list, good that you included Ninja Gaiden, underrated platinums.

I own 3 out of these plats: - Shadow of the Colossus (PS3 version) As you have said the biggest hurdle in this trophy list is the time attack on the hard difficulty mode ("Meticulous Collector"). The time limits of some of the bosses are very strict (especially colossus 3 😤) while others had really generous times and were much easier. Another big problem was that the bosses sometimes didn't stop shaking which caused me to fall off or at least wasted a lot of my time. The trophy you've shown ("Speed King") is from the PS4 trophy list. I haven't played that one myself but I've read that the devs fixed some of the issues from the PS3 version. They reduced the frequency of how often bosses try to shake you off and the character doesn't lose his grip as easily. Some of the strict time limits were increased and some were reduced. - Elden Ring I don't have much to add to what you've already said. Elden Ring really is a must play game. I just hope we get more information on the DLC soon. - Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy (+DLC trophies) The time trial in Stormy Ascend was really challenging. It took me many hours of practice and countless attempts until I finally earned it. I don't want to know how many times I missed a jump on the birds right before the goal. I don't know if I'll be able to get the plat for Crash 4 as well but I'll try to get as far as possible. 11:54 That comment wasn't pointed at me but I'm definitely also guilty of leaving "essays" in your comment section 🤣 I just really enjoy sharing my experiences and opinions on trophy hunting 😄

Indeed the Shadow of the Colossus time attack is way harder on PS3, you mentioned Colossus 3 (which is the hardest in this mode) they increased his time to one minute in the remake, and like you said the physics are way better in the remake. Stormy Ascent I also got the Platinum relic and beat the Developer`s time which is 2:53.50, felt really good about it.

I really do want to give Shadow a good go so maybe in a few months buddy. Yeah I read the PS3 stack was actually a little harder than the PS4 for those reasons. Well done on Elden Ring, I really hope the DLC has trophies likes Bloodborne. Hahaha yeah you do, but they make for good reads even though sometimes I don't reply to every paragraph I always read them :)

Hey! I have the Overwatch plat and the Overwatch 2 plat. It’s weird how the trophies work in that game but to make it easy to understand. The game has a main trophy list which contained milestones like level 50 etc. Then each character from the default roster had 2 trophies each in the main list. In Overwatch - getting the character trophies would also unlock a spray. Either a pixel spray or a cute spray. Then when they started releasing characters after the main game, Ana, Sombra, Doomfist etc, they were given their 2 ability trophies but they were added as dlc trophies Now in Overwatch 2, the trophy list is identical and now auto pops if you play on ps5, they carried on doing the dlc trophies for new heroes but now they seem to have stopped that also. It’s in game challenges now as opposed to trophy challenges. So essentially, like most games, there is a ps4 trophy list for Overwatch/overwatch 2 as well as a ps5 list. But they are identical.

I have 2/50 of these, would have gone for a 3rd one but as you said Friday the 13th had a weird tracking issue as the devs gave everyone max everything bugging it out and making a lot of them unobtainable (I was attempting to do it during this time too) The two I do have are The Floor is Lava from Overwatch, which while hard can be exploited. I personally would say Rapid Discord is a lot harder as you have to be super fast and coordinated to get it. There's not much you can do to exploit it, it's just pure skill. I've gotten The Floor is Lava Twice, and yet to get Rapid Discord Once (I'm not a Lucio player) The othe being the PVZ Battle for Neighborville Achievement, none of them were hard, just a lot of time and hours spent into a game that was already dead the year after it released. They literally dropped the game while I was platinum hunting it, luckily there were still bots and the servers are still up from what I can tell. But yeah solid list of games, a lot of them are ones I'd never attempt due to time, difficulty, or just not interesting to me, but I respect those who've managed to get them cause holy hell some of these are hard. I will say Super Meat Boy, and any of the Roguelikes on this list will be ones I will go for as I want to platinum super meat boy and any roguelike I can find. So I do hope Darkest Dungeon and Necrodancer don't cause too much trouble, I know Meatboy will.

I have a whole 1 of these 😅. Got the (Steam) platinum for the Crash Trilogy. Also a bonus is the platinum for Ico. That speedrun trophy has very little let.

@@PlatinumBro In deadcells there's a hotline Miami themed room that randomly pops up on the first level and you get a new set of armor. When you die it switches the masks and introduced the baseball bat to the game! If you like Metroidvania and roguelikes check out deadcells

I have the Overwatch 1 platinum. Got it before the change from 1 to 2. It did take me 5 years, though The Floor is Lava and Rapid Discord took me relatively short time. Great game, shame the "squel" is incredibly disappointing

I dont think i platniumed any game but i got a majority of the hard achivements besides lucio's pixel skin, but i was never a fan of his playstyle. Heck i was pretty good as zenyatta, i can recall prefiring a corner with that heavy attack and catch tracer's head zipping out with all 5 orbs lmfao

Keep the lists coming, I love them! I have The Curtain Falls ...It & Mein Leben Curtain Falls was pretty challenging but if you've played Asylum & City it's definitely doable. But if you've only played Knight then it'll take some time ...It was really easy because I got carried by 2 other people and getting 3 stars on all levels took about 2 hours so yeah definitely cheesed this one Mein Leben wasn't too hard since I've played FPS games most of my life so I've had the experience. I would give Mein Leben a 7/10 but if you don't play alot of FPS shooters it's definitely a 10/10 Still need to go back to Trackmania Turbo, Watch Dogs Legion & Dishonored 1. Trackmania Turbo & Watch Dogs Legion I'm definitely going back to soon and BTW thanks to your Watch Dogs video for making me do Resistance Mode! Dishonored 1 is very challenging I tried getting one of the Trophies and couldn't do it so I gave up. definitely will go back to it at some point this year probably 😄

I have dominator from Remanat from the Ashes. Gold rush from RDR2. And The curtain falls from arkham knight. Getting every trophy in the arkham games was a great experience, but burn me out and i quit trophy hunting for 6 months.

It surprises me that SF4 Vanilla and/or SSF4 didn't appear in the list. I had those platinums (and MvC3, UMvC3, Arcana Heart 3, DBFZ, all GG and all BB and other FGs) and they weren't much a problem for me because I'm a dedicated fighting games player but I know many people struggles with getting the trophies for trials mode, specially with C. Viper, Ibuki, Gen and El Fuerte.

mate, you're a fighting god haha. tbf i just like to include one game per franchise and i kind of tied that into MVC as a series and I spoke about SF5 in my last list, that's not to discredit SF4's difficulty

I would love to see a second part of this... Cuz for me the "Personal Decorator" in CoD BO3 is missing here. The amount of blood sweat and tears i put into that game... First play all levels on Realistic where you die in 2 hits, then on vetran without reloading a checkpoint, then do it again without getting downed, archive a flawless run in trainingmode on realistic difficulty, unlock every camo,cors,etc. in the singleplayer which takes forever and also getting every challenge in every misson and so on and so on... The hate i feel for this particular trophy is unmatched to this day and i so proud of myself to have it my cabinet

@@PlatinumBro I mean yeah, there are some other trophies in the cod series that are hard as hell.(Mile High, WaW Kamikaze-Planes the list goes on and on) But this was something different because it's not only one mission that's super unforgiving, no it's all of them... If you ever want to do a second video about it, it would be great to see this trophy in it. And if I am allowed to help you with the worst parts/objectives in that game, I would feel honored.

I expected Dead Space 2’s “Hard to the Core” trophy to be here, but I’m kind of glad it’s not, because it’s just playing the game. No weirdness, just straightforward. Beating the game with only 3 saves is challenging. You’ll need to know enemy placements to a T. It’s one of those that requires you be good, and know a lot. But it’s my most proud platinum.

Cannot believe I’ve got 5 of them. Would also make a note for the call of duty Cold War trophy to beat the dead ops arcade mode. Easily takes 2 hours and is brutally difficult to do. There are people out there willing to help but my god did it block my on the platinum for so long

Yakuza 3 MENTION! That game was a blast to platinum, but I can't lie when some of those minigames made me want to pull my hair out. Specifically darts and pool, cause even the littlest of tilt on the analog stick would send it flying in a different direction 😭

The fact that I have done the PVZ Battle for Neighborville Platinum, and I will say out of every single Platinum I've done it was by far my least favourite because of that single trophy, and now that I'm on a new account I will inevitably go for it again, it is one I'm not looking forward to. Because I played it, had fun with my favourite characters and there's a mechanic that you can spend coins to give a character xp which helps but you can only do it 5 times a day so a lot of my time I'd log on, do it 5 times on a character I didn't like, maybe play a character I did like for half an hour or so to replenish the in game currency I spent, then log off to do the same tomorrow. Like it was not fun, I spent maybe idk 30 ish hours alone just grinding the characters.

My vote goes to edf 4.1 which requires 16 playthroughs in order to platinum. So it could deserve a spot on the list but to be fair I think the video essay was preaty good.

I got the platinum for Resident Evil Operation Racoon City. It was actually fun with another friend.

Can't argue with anything on this list. I have 11 of these and most of those were pretty tough. #2 Dragon Ball FighterZ. Got the zeni one, still missing the Battle Points one though. #8 Elden Ring #10 Yakuza, got the platinum for 0 - 7, also both Judgment games #13 Overwatch. Just did the platinum, didn't bother with the DLC characters, I've had enough of that 😆 #14 Mafia 3 #20 Crash Bandicoot #21 Dragon Ball Xenoverse #27 Alien Isolation #30 Shadow of Mordor #34 Dishonored. Did this twice, on PS3 and PS4. I didn't think kill chain isn't the hardest one, RNG makes both Bonfires and especially Back Alley Brawl much, much harder imo. #42 Metal Gear Rising Revengeance I skipped out on the last DLC pack of Arkham Knight, and never got around to completing Super Meat Boy and that last challenge in Vanquish. Another honorable mention: Super Street Fighter 4: From C to Shining C: Rank up all 39 characters to C in online and especially Trial Athlete: Complete all 936 combo trials, ranging from simple combos, to very high level combos with multiple frame perfect input requirements. This is probably my proudest platinum, I did it when I was a bit younger, I don't think I could stomach it today 😂

i got two for ya, both from the same game. TMNT: mutants in manhattan, sorry not sorry, have all 4 turtles do a specific pose during the snapshot as a boss is defeated. its online and all 4 turtles have to not only not be knocked out, you have to use an object to deliver the final blow on a boss and syncronize all 4 online players to activate this specific pose as the final hits being landed, next time take a cab, defeat bebop AND rocksteady by having them hit stage effect trains. considering rocksteady is a rng appearance, its a completely random trophy, and you have to command the other 3 turtles not to attack them for the chance they charge at you during a train stage effect.

49:46 I guess they should throw me into an asylum😂I platinumed it Three times, MVC3 and UMVC3 on PS3 and UMVC3 on PS4 .Also got Crash 4, the time trials did drive me insane and I'm great at platformers . In the end I enjoyed the challenge !

Here are the trophies that I have on this list: _Gold Rush_ - I didn't actually find this trophy too difficult, since I was always making a save just before a mission so that I could replay it instantly after if I didn't achieve the gold medal. I actually got this trophy on the first mission of the Epilogue Part 1 (I was aiming to get it on the Redemption mission, but the requirements were just a bit too difficult then), so I was able to just play through the rest of the story without worrying about medals after that. _The Hunt is my Mistress_ - I had to do 2.5 runs on this trophy before I got it due to the RNG screwing me over. By comparison, the Lord of the Ring trophy in the second DLC is a cakewalk. Hopefully, I can get a few more of these by the end of the year.

I think Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe on PS3 is worth a mention, the kombos for every character is brutal to do and you need to master it, it's only rated a 10/10 for difficulty.

some of mine are: rage 2 dlc: ultra nightmare mode. guides list this as a 9/10 and rightfully so its instant death the moment u get shot by anything. when vikings attack: rated a 10/10 this games s rank trophy is stupidly hard. spelunky: multiple trophies worthy like to hell and back. but flr me it was the speedrun trophy. the game is easier if you slow down and when tou go quick its guaranteed death. so it mixes rng with skill and hard difficulty unreal tournament 3: beating ai on hardest difficulty and finishing the campaign on insane. honestly is one of the hardest things ive ever done. so much so that guides say to beat the campaigns final level you run and hide hope your not found. get enough pickups that you hopefully get a kill. and then u have to try and hide the rest of the 10 minutes and hope your not killed

Proud to say I have the Splasher platinum, but I would never recommend it. I nearly had a panic attack when you mentioned the trophy.

The original Destiny (my 1st ever platinum) had a pretty brutal raid trophy. Full raid but no one could die.

Floor is lava is pretty easy if you change your controller binds and realise it’s not a single wall ride. I’d say zenyattas one for discord orb and baptistes one for the ult is harder. That and that they have nerfed tf out of some of the original cast so some old ow1 trophies are much harder now

solid advice

the floor is lave in overwatch is very hard but i got it easily. when the game first came out you can be against your friend you let your friend play in quick play and you spectate and when some one on the other team leave the game you get in and now you against your friend. thats how i got several trophies in the game easy. but you cant do it anymore

My proudest but hardest 100% I did is Like a Dragon 0 which I'm sure people also were frustrated with that game but it feels so good clearing that backlog I was worrying too much on that game until I got it last week.

The time trials for Shadow of the Colossus weren't that bad really.. I think doing the extra playthroughs just to get the maximum stamina was the worst part for me. The last Boss can be a bit annoying but overall the time limits are fair. I also remember playing Operation Raccoon City when it came out. A weird RE game to say the least but I think it's free with PS+ Premium now. I'm missing basically all the Online trophies so if anyone want to grind these one I'd be down for that!

Tis but a scratch! My curiosity was peaked so now I'd love to see you play the game lol Edit: I actually have a couple of these platinums but I tend to look at the platinum guides before I buy games so unless they're dirt cheap, I never buy them

My friend and I are going to try and start 100%ing games and he said 'Let's do MHW!' I said sure and we got to it. Couple hours later, we decided against it because of ALL the PURE RNG achievements. Rare endemic life spawn? Check. Crowns for sizes? Check. Loss of hope? Check.

I must be a sadist because I've got Gold Rush in RDR2 twice. The first on my main acc then I did a "Let's play" for YT recently and did it again with no mission replays on a fresh account. I way prefer a grindy trophy than a one dependent on RNG

I love Dishonored so fucking much and I can finally fucking brag about it. (Also, I'm in the first category). I have the 100% Plat in Dishonored with all DLC and trophies done. And to punish myself, I did the hardest trophies in one go. No kills, no detects, no powers except blink on Very Hard mode. It was amazing

Damn. I've got two of those - the Hotline Miami one (which I find quite easy - I've gotten A+ on all the stages multiple times, I find the second one to be harder) and the Metal Gear Rising one. The Metal Gear Rising wasn't actually that hard, it just took a while to get familiar with the game and master the parry system first. Other than a couple of boss fights, it wasn't too bad. I found the MGS2 platinum to be muuuuch harder than Rising simply due to the bosses on Extreme and the few infamous VR missions... oof. I actually would love to try and do the Big Boss rank on the PS4/5 version, but I am not getting that damn platinum again! No way. The hardest trophy I have gotten has to be the platinum for Pac-Man Championship Edition 2... there was that one level which took as long as the rest of the trophies, and made my thumb and half my arm hurt for about two days afterwards... another trophy which came close was getting 50 gold medals in challenges in Mega Man Legacy Collection... that took a lot of time. But I felt so satisfied. Same with Dante Must Die mode on the first DMC... that shootem up section of the final boss was so incredibly hard due to its controls that it almost made me drop the game. I was obviously too stupid and underestimated the game, so I didn't farm enough orbs to stack up on healing items and devil stars... yeah. Big mistake. I made it though and I felt so satisfied. Another hard one which I managed to get that is quite rare, was the platinum in Lumines Remastered. Some game modes were much harder than expected. And a honorable mention to Spelunky 2. It was very hard. But in the end I felt like a god. Managed a no-gold run in like 7 minutes. Love that game. There is also one absurdly stupid trophy which made me give up on 100%-ing the game due to one fucking mission - Sonic Adventure's DLC trophy for clearing all missions. The one mission which involves snowboarding is fucking impossible. I don't know how people get it. I gave up after like 3 days of attempts.

@@PlatinumBroOnce you master the parry it becomes easier! Also the missable encounters required for S are a pain to look out for. It was surprisingly easier than imagined, which I did not expect during my first playthrough... got bad ranks and died all the time. It helps playing through the game on normal, then hard, then Revengeance once the memory is still fresh.
