Got to meet and speak with Robert for awhile. He offered to let me shoot one if I came back on a range day. I left with a few fired casings and an autograph on that magazine. The man's just building up an immunity to 50 cals by collecting spicy ones in the event of one just detonating on him like a hand grenade.
The first 35 of these guns were basically built by hand. The later ones with a number of improvements were built on a CNC Mill. As to the nose dive it is likely the gas system. It may need adjusting. It has 3 different size holes in the piston. We usually tuned the gun to a specific ammunition. One of the later features uses the rear of the scope mount to lock the dust cover in place so it does not pinch anymore. The original inspiration for the Pauza P-50 was the Tokerev SVT-40 but also incorporated some thing from the PTRS.

@@thegodofthebeer5388 The Cobra Assault Cannon was a Barrett. No mistaking the arrowhead muzzle device 😉
The Harmonics in that barrel are absolutely insane, you could clearly see at least a half inch of walk in the slow-mo shots!!! Good on you for keeping history alive when all people these days want to do is kill it bad.... Yes I said kill it bad! My son came up with that term when he was little and I was still doing contract work! 😆 Much Love Brother!

I saw that too but it looks more like a whole inch either way. Also with the violent action I'm not sure it's going to hold a zero.

I thought maybe it could be caused by the heat distortion or the gas in the video, glad to know I'm not crazy.
Thanks for posting video. Bought a p50 in 2004. Interesting gun.
I love my SKS way more than wasr 10 trigger slapping p'os Longer barrel, all machined and with some strategic sanding can have a decent trigger depending on the model/country nicer furniture as well
If you haven't, you really should get the Auto 9 Berretta on the show to complete having another automatic weapon and another cool RoboCop gun

You're right. Never heard of it. Interesting as heck.
13 when training with the CAF on the FN-C1, that tilting or rocking of the block was called "camming".
Great advertizmen by my local supermarket they were laughing abaout prices and when ad stop you laugh while shooting. Best ad spot.
I really love this type of content where you really get into the guts of the gun and show how exactly everything works together. It's helped me a lot with maintenance of my own firearms and being able to diagnose any issues by actually understanding how all of the parts function in tandem with one another. Thanks!
I love when you include those AK-50 firing clips... Can tell you're really celebrating your wins and that's great to see :) Keep it up, Brandon!
Sweet gun. I love the metal "thunk" every time it fires.
I just love that all of his shooting is done in sandals.
Would love to see a comparison video of all the 50s you can get hands on, like this one is lighter, this one wiggles wierd, etc.
After some of the technical explanations, I am now sitting in my room racking my Yugo SKS pretending it’s a Pauza while Brandon racks the actual Pauza. Take from this what you will.
I've definitely heard of the P50, and it's fairly high up on my want list and will buy next list.
Haha! Reassembly makes setting and removing the Barrett's M82 barrel springs lug look like a walk in the park. 😄
Never a dull moment in these videos 🤣 Keep it up my guy!
