Jahvon lives in my building here at nova and the man is tiny. 6’1” is generous. From what we know here at nova, I have a friend who’s a team manager and apparently jq just never learned the playbook. Didn’t put in the work outside of practice and expected everything to come to him easy. Wish him all the best wherever he transfers, but time is running out for him. He’s most likely gonna enter the NBA at 22 years old with only 1 year of real college play. He needs to put the work in wherever he goes if he’s gonna get drafted.

Yeah, I've noticed that alot of these ball players are boosting their height. I go to UConn and there are athletes (football, soccer) listed 6, when they seem 5'10 at best. And there are bball players listed a few inches above real height. I guess they measure them in shoes, so it makes sense.
He has to do what is best for him. These school don't care about you once your eligibility is done. You have a limited time to capitalize. Go where they love you.

He'll be fine, believe in your game, it happened to Jalen Brunson his freshman year. Jay Wright used to put him in take him out. And he was a great player and in my opinion the best player as a freshman. Mental toughness from players is why Jay Wrights guys improve so much.

People need to stop saying j wright dont start freshman lol. Brunson and arcidiacono started the minute they stepped foot on campus. Arcidiacono even made tyrone johnson transfer who was highly recruited and starting pg as upperclassman. Jq just didn't play defense. He had all the offensive tools in the book but understand something even if he played at another program he still has to defend and if he wants to play in the nba he definately has to play defense. In the nba unless your a big time star like lebron curry you are a role player and defense/hustle/rebounding is how you earn your paycheck and it stays that way until you become a star. Guy is extremely skilled but until he plays with toughness and grit he will limit his future opportunities. Doesn't matter even if he went to zona he still would've had to defend and pac-12 point guards lightning fast.

Omari Spellman player a huge role in his freshman season and left for the NBA.
Some just aren't meant for the higher levels
The hypocrisy to talk about what a big mistake JQ made by faking that hack and then shamelessly fake comments and views for his own video is unreal. Don't trust creators like this man seriously
JQ got game but his attitude might be an issue but 2 other New Jersey freshmen guards got alot of play in the early 2ks Nardi they had a "four guard lineup" alongside Randy Foye(Jersey) , Allan Ray, and Kyle Lowry, and white Mike Nardi that led the Wildcats to an NCAA tournamentnumber one seed In 05 or 06
you're awesome!
Unc isn't a OAD school Roy Williams has had like 5 OADs in his 15 years at UNC
Still believe in the kid JQ, keep ya head up, keep striving your time will come 🚶🏽♂️💸

There's probably a reason why he didn't play a lot. You have to earn your minutes. You don't just get it.
The way I think about this is players develop in different ways. Yeah Villanova has had many successful players that have became better over time while playing in their system, but that doesn’t mean that every player will prosper from it. Maybe JQ just fits better in another system and will help develop him quicker than Nova’s system. He’s for sure a NBA draft worthy hooper, he’s got all the tools he needs to be successful, he just has to play in the right and most fitting system for him that will prepare him for the next level.
God bless this kid.
