Better yet get a rock from a lab. They are actually higher purity and cheaper, aren't they? ...Also don't by the super brand stuff, shop around and you can cut it to like 1/10th the price or something.

He proposed 1/10/2008, over a kraft mac and cheese dinner w hotdogs. He had four candlesticks lit on the table. We just bought his grandpas house. I was 24. Thank god it was before we had social media. He had the ring made using the diamonds from his mother’s wedding ring (his father passed away when he was 12). Such a memorable event. We had been dating for 7 years. We’re now coming up on 21. Wow.

Exactly why my husband and I didn’t do a “proposal”, we just had an organic conversation and knew we wanted to be married. The thought of a proposal and the anticipation, it honestly gave me anxiety lol. We Had our wedding on a private island in the gulf coast off of Florida, just close friends and family. I designed my wedding band with his grandmothers jewelry. Had the ceremony on the beach. Celebrated for an entire week on the island with our family’s. We wanted everything to be as less stressful as possible. And it was everything we wanted ❤️

Sounds absolutely perfect. It’s so important the bride and groom are relaxed ppl. Those are the best weddings. I was mostly chill. Hubby too. It was 90 ppl. Ppl said they enjoyed themselves. I was 5 months pregnant so I left my own reception at 10pm. Told ppl they’re welcome to stay but I was exhausted. No clue if they left. But it was good because I think many ppl don’t want to party but tend to feel pressured if hosts still there. Gave them an “out”.

Told my boyfriend that our lives would be everyday lives and I want an everyday proposal. Proposed to me in the foodcourt of the mall before movie (and we go to fancy places all the time). Said yes. Picked rings together online, we think they were very expensive (together at 2000) and btw designed and made by a famous jeweler (Ned Bowman). Almost had to disown my mother for trying to overplan my wedding and asking me things like ‘what kind of plates’. Surely the venue has nice ones? In the end, due to some circumstances, had lovely little wedding for 25 people (criteria: invite only people who are genuinely happy you did), no posed photos, only natural stuff. My only regret: my hairdo choice was terrible and I look awful in the photos.

We did simple. A 600 dollar ring. No dress. No flowers. No body came. No honeymoon. Just a preacher at my Moms house. Super cheap, 34 years later and I don’t regret it. Big weddings are a waste of money !!

My hubby drove 3 hours from school to surprise me after work on evening. He had the ring on his pinkie and when I opened the exterior door to my apartment building, he held up his hand and said "Will you?" He stayed for another 30 mins or so and then had to drive 3 hours back to school. We'll be married 19 years in May. Happier and more in love than ever. ❤ Keep it simple.

Easily a top favorite all-time! Everything was perfect spot on! I was sad the video was over so quick lol I feel like this needs to be a series of some kind. Also, 100% facts. Accurate. The process is grueling. How does anyone have the energy for a honeymoon after all that?? Ain’t no shame in planning a honeymoon for later! 😅🤣 I DO! To this hilarious micro truth teller docustory!
