Been driving BMWs for the past 22 years and I have owned a total of 9 so far. Currently, I own 3, E53, E60 and my daily driver an E65. The success factor for BMWs from my experience is maintenance and not skimping on parts. For me it's BMW or nothing else. Thanks for the video

I've had my BMW e90 for 6 yrs now. Been through good and not so good times. I mostly work on the car myself with the help of KZread, Google and INPA scanner. I get parts quite fairly. And the car is my daily driver for this 6 yrs!

If you want to own a bmw, buy one with a manual gearbox... It'll be less complicated.
I have driven more than 45 cars across several brands but the day I drove a BMW E46 (manual transmission) from Ibadan to Akure and back the same day, I screamed ESKELEBETIELEBEBE 🤯🤯🤯.

Most common issue with BMW in Nigeria is electrical...HERE is the solution... All BMWs use a battery for 5years straight MAX...then it stops working battery DIES completely. Now changing the battery isn't an issue, its registering...people don't know that u need to register the new battery for that car. What happens is if u don't register, it wont give the right voltage to its electrical panels. after driving for a week to a month... the modules fries n short circuits. BIG PROBLEM.
After owning two different models ill say, “THE BEST BMW TO DRIVE IS SOMEONE ELSES OWN” 😅 and if your shit neva soft wela …. Just go the corolla way jeje (MY TWO CENTS) ✌🏾
BMW is definitely not as bad as you put it and you have all parts in daleko market, as for reliability change parts when it starts giving sings don’t wait until it stops, I av had a lot of BMW’s and currently own an X6 and a 535xi F10 🥰 To own a BMW make sure you own your own scan tool most modern cars today do.

I won 3 BMW s. Currently. My first was the e34 520 white then the 530 e34 V8 red.. then to the e36 320 24v white next was the e36 328 convertible in techno violet .. Now to my current collection s .. e46 318 N42 manual , e46 330 M54 convertible 6 speed manual( converted) .and X5 e53 3.p 5 speed manual.... To enjoy BMW ,you need to follow BMW technical specification for that model...not cutting corners . eg use specified BMW approved coolant readily available at Tradefair in Lagos though expensive but better than water and you will almost certainly never experience an overhearting in the next 2 years.. use BMW specified approved oil rather than random oil ,20w50 is not good for BMW , that is affordable and contribute to engine failure .... I love the brand and I will not or never depart ... Again ALl the models that I have own are direct import ..Never buy a used Nigeria model.... u will cry and hate yourself ..import where you can ..... Don't accept the rubbish that what works for the oyinbo will not work here in Nigeria .... Engineering has no region ... . There are reasons why they specify something ...billions of dollars are spent on Research and Development... don't let a mechanic convince you otherwise..Always follow BMW specification, advice and updates .... Good luck ....
😂We want dipstick oooo. Nice video man. You are definitely putting in work and it is evident. Kudos man.

Honestly, BMW is such a beautiful piece. I was a Japanese fan and user before, but since I started using BMW some years back, this brand has never disappointed me. Parts are available and cheap, DIY is also something to appreciate about the brand. If you appreciate performance and easthetics, get a BMW. Just get a good mechanic and you are good to go.
Honestly I’d buy a BMW m2 competition… I love it, it’s my dream trip ride. For strictly travels and speed therapy.

Outstanding literally it's a documentary, well though out and very informative. I had a BMW 735 V8 for about three years without one problem. I think there may be an issue with our low quality fuel ( octane level ❓🤔) etc. I used a BMW X5 for a few years in Nigeria but didn't have any real issues. Think an issue may be our own maintenance culture in Nigeria. BMW are like a high maintenance girlfriend, that needs a lot of TLC otherwise things go west.
Mad mad mad video. The quality of the video is sick. My only curiosity is what the purpose of the second guy is. I mean, he was suppose to give us counter arguments but here he is basically confirming everything you’re saying. 😂

E90 is a small beast! I’ve got one if you’re interested.
Had a 535i e34 for 12 years. Fantastic driving machine, especially on the highway. Initially the original parts were available but expensive. When, however, theparts became impossible to find...even simple things like fuel pumps had to be ordered from abroad, I switched to Mercs...
Bro, thanks so much for doing this video. BMW is a very nice car. But the problem, is not for the common man.
Thanks for the video, but I'm still a big fan of the BMW brand Bcoz it's my favorite car brand.
Please do a review on Hyundai Elentra 2018-2019 model
Had a 2004 320d se looks great with 18inch wheels 151hp 2.0 liter engine. Had transmission problems and pump problems. Fix and sold it, the buyer even with all the car went through still wanted it. It’s very powerful. I switched to w204 c180 with similar performance power. I feel like a hypocrite because I love and prefer BMWs but what can I do? Can’t afford her maintenance. I will definitely own another later in the future. I am in the UK though.
I have owned a few Beemers and Jags, It's the XJ8 for me any day...
The best BMWs are the E46 3series 2.5 L or 3.0 L That car is so fun to drive and reliable. You can get to 500k miles to be fair😉
You need to be a smart guy to own a bmw. I have owned 3 BMWs - 7 series, 5 series & 3 Series. Srove them several years. These cars are for tech-smart people who knows some DIYs, but most Nigerians aren't. The plastic parts in the engines can actually last longer than mentioned in this video if good bleeding is done on the cooling system. Avoid the turbos, .... there are specific models that have minimal issues. BMW is a driver's car.

Would love you to talk about Audi’s next
Do a review on Volvo. Xc90 is still the most popular imo.
I have always got bmw on my mind I must own one in the nearest future
My first bmw was e46… then when I got to the states i bought an E90. I drive 14hrs every two weeks for work n it NEVER broke down once. I fix it my self and I love working on it. Cos the driving feel is just so different n addictive. Tru talk not every mechanic can fix a BMW not even dealership in Houston… yes, n I have a tru story to dat. Nice car channel.
On my 7th one. I buy, use and sell for a newer one. when a BMW takes you to the mechanic workshop every week and then, it's due for a change. because not the same fault that will carry you there on the next visit. every visit is a new issue. it's cool. reasons... elegance, stability, and safety. if I have been given a brand new Honda,, 2022, I won't hesitate to sell it for a grade 1 direct tok BMW of 2010 or 12. my best choice is the XDrive series. thanks for your analysis ...
Please can you do a review for Mazda cx-7 and cx 9
omo boss bin dey eye one 2015 f80 m3 can you do a full review on this particular model? all the reviews I've seen are American and you know our roads, so I want to know how we can relate it to our roads t for tenks
I am freak to performance cars, I just love BMW, especially their engine kind like a straight 5cyl or straight 6cyl kinds of engine you will never see in our Toyota’s and Lexus
BMW is not just a car, it’s a spiritual car that makes you feel high and go crazy when driving it. There is a new spirit that always enter into someone anytime you handle a BMW and that spirit makes you look down on any other car owners😂. And no car that has d same horsepower with Any BMW that will beat d BMW except the Mercedes and they will both go NECK ON NECKS
I own 3 bmws; crazy l! None of them is drivable at this moment for different issues but I still love the cars.
Wow! Crank, I love this video. BMWs are the absolute worst. Many Nigerians who own it don't know much about cars or have lots of money so they dont care. BMWs are money pits. Many of its reliability issues stem from choices/sacrifices made for performance, however, that performance is barely used on a daily bases on our Nigerian roads...so what gives? Benz is the Ultimate standard for luxury and if you buy right, you get same performance as what a BMW produces without the hassle of the tons of issues a Bimmer comes with. The average Nigeria cannot afford the luxury of owning more than 1 car, therefore, reliability would always be king in our choices.

It's weird how Mercedes suddenly becomes more reliable than BMW in Nigeria. Here in Europe, BMWs are far more reliable than Mercedes and you get up to 12000miles before the next service whilst Mercedes needs servicing between 4000 to 8000miles. I guess it's probably the low quality of materials used in Nigeria that makes BMW problematic over there such as the Petrol, Diesel and Engine Oil.

I owned a Peugeot 206 then I bought an e36 bmw, parked the Peugeot. Crashed the bmw went back to manage the Peugeot first till i buy an e90. Drove the Peugeot for 3 weeks. Thanks for letting me know there are parts all over idimota...a specific location? please cos am in need of knowing where they are located. i fix my e90 myself coding inclusive. and it all started with a simple problem even BMW cant figure out. (not gernany but us) after 2 years with the same issue and replacing almost everything that could have cost me $3k according to the dealership...the solution cost me $75 and 30mins to fix. imagine gifting away $3k for $75 issue/solution. ANYWAYS, WHERE IN IDIMOTA?
Beautiful analysis my dear, I am using my fourth BMW now, how can we get in touch with THEO in Naija? Abeg, let me know.. Thanks..
I just subscribed but funny to hear you say that about the m3. Disrespect the Benz from not being a drifting machine the onky reason the e30 m3 exist is because Benz made the Benz 190E. The Benz 190E is a better formidable cost no object machine. The money spent by benze to design the rear suspension was more than the entire money used to make the bmw m3. You can fact check about the 190e. It was out of it the hammer was made.
My E60 550i Msport caught fire and disintegrated to dust while parked after a drive. It had 106k sad, but i believe it was the plastic coil cover from the valve cover, and it slipped off the grommet and slid between the exhaust manifold and shock tower. This was my 3rd 5 series Msport with the v8. the Nigerian is not lying. Plastic is the failure point, and this last one, just wasn't made to last more than 10 years.
Used an E60 and enjoyed it so much. Bought an E90, loved it so much especially the form factor I bought it twice 😃 (2006 and 2009). Wanted a Japanese car for my wife which I could drive too then I bought an Infiniti G37x 😍😍😍. So I have options of driving two lovely cars I dig

To own a bmw in Nigeria, u need to either have a mech guy who is technically good, who can use bmw software like inpa or ista. The regular obd2 won't pick bwm exclusive fault codes. Bwm is rugged mechanically, but electronically it doesn't tolerate trial & error repairs that most road side mechanics do here.. U must scan, it will tell u what is wrong, u replace and it will work. Mechanics have damaged a lot of vehicles here because they are not trained to use scanning tool for diagnosis. I have a 2001 740i that has withstand test of time. One day a transmission cooler hose busted on the road, all the trans fluid drained out but I managed to drive the car to my office in trans-fail-safe mode. I bought a new fluid and refill that's it. The automatic transmission is still shifting fine till today. My advice, if u don't have a good mechanic and u can't do it yourself, do yourself a favor, buy something else.

“Bmw are bad guys and everyone is scared of a bad guy” that got me deadd 😂💔... but Bmw for life man especially that f90 M5.
Cars are built for different purposes with different frames of mind for different target customers. Most Toyotas and Hondad are biult will economy in mind. Benz are general built with class in mind. Most beemers are built with performance in mind. Problems start when kunle whose car need is a reliable knock about car for his daily commute from sango to Ikeja leaves uber corolla to buys a BMW.
Bmw originally part doesn’t go bad once you buy once and it originally it would last Bmw for life I always tell people if you don’t love a bmw, don’t buy it cause it would stress you
