Has anyone ever at any time in the history of the earth tasted salt that tasted any different from any other salt? When this doofus started talking about the special, rare salt he had isolated from a remote, exotic location, to flavor his popcorn, well, that's when it became obvious that he is a snake oil salesman.

Læsø salt is the biggest scam I have ever seen, it's not even that expensive here in Denmark. Sure it might be ancient and handmade, but still, I actually use this in my day-to-day life.

I'm pretty sure you can make this at home for less.

The funny thing is a sheet of that gold is worth about 0.40 pence per sheet. So you got a few fancy ingredients to justify your cost. So a few shakes on a kernel topped with caramel = $5. Ahhh no thank you.
