    I do love the idea of learning chord progressions. I found that sometimes I love to just sit with my ukulele and figure things out that sound good. That seems like it would give me a really great place to start. I know this was a year ago, but now I'm going to see if you made any videos with some of the theory behind it. Thanks for the lesson.😊

    Thanks! Loved it. Great tool for writing songs too. Also, great for finger picking. I think hearing and copying your picking has helped me turn a corner. Again, thanks. It's difficult for me because I'm a jazz vocalist and I have an awesome band, guys that have been playing for decades. Hard to be patient as a beginner. But, I have a great ear so this helps. Plus your videos are fun. Easy to play with at the end of the day, even if I'm tired.

    To answer your end question: Yes I'm interested in music theory as a way to progress and advance my own ukulele playing. I've tried to learn on my own but the written lessons I see are very confusing and I haven't found anything on youtube to keep things clear for me. I"d love to see how you would teach Music Theory

    I prefer to think about vi-IV- I-V rather than i-VI-III-VII. Anyway thanks for your great video! I'm just started to pick up ukulele and find your channel is very helpful!

    Great marco, I would like to know Theory. Bass players work with numbers which i think are the notes of the scale. So you need to know the Key's notes to know which are the chords of the progression. I think

    Yes !! I have a small group that plays easy to intermediate and are glued to sheet music or chord play alongs. They won’t look up ! I’ve tried 1 6m 4 5 …. Now I have more songs and more patterns. They will have no choice now. Lol

    Thank you Marco. I like your lessons very much!!! I think there is a small mistake: in chord progression 5 the Dmajor progression starts with a Gchord, not, as described, with an Fchord.😉. Best regards from Germany Elisabeth

    Im confused, 2.54 you say chord progression number two is I-VI-III-IV but then you play I-VI-III-IV ... and then play examples using I-VI-III-VII

    Hi! I m from Argentina. Love your videos and you are a very kind teacher. I have noticed your examples are only songs in English. Why is that? I love the examples but there are lots of beautiful songs in spanish you can use. Gustavo Cerati, Charly García are one of the better musicians we have. But there are lots of them.
