That was just my first pass. I am coming back with pen and paper to make notes so I can practice the chord progressions. Thanks so much.
An amazing vidéo perfectly clear. I was looking for it for such a long time ! Tks !!!
Thank you so much Marco!. Would love more videos like this one. You get to understand music a little better. 🙂
Thanks Marco. Great lesson! Gives me lots to work on.
Great! Understanding chord progression is so valuable to improvisation
In an 11 minute vid, you give us a lifetime worth of progressions to work with! I like looking at how songs I've written fall into these established progressions without realizing it.

This is great!! Thank you Marco! I just love listening to you play with your fingerstyle pattern
Thanks Marco. This gives me a heap of different ways to practice some of the other lessons you have taught 🎶
Thank you for this and just to say it is great to be able to see the theory of chord progressions applied to Ukulele.
Thank you for that lovely snippet of theory. It’s my favourite way to learn theory. I love this chord progression and I feel inspired to practice now, just for fun. Hey great looking uke! I just got one and its the most musical uke I have.
This is so helpful...thank you Marco!
Wow ! So simple but so good to learn and listen :) .Thank you 4 this VIDEO !
I do love the idea of learning chord progressions. I found that sometimes I love to just sit with my ukulele and figure things out that sound good. That seems like it would give me a really great place to start. I know this was a year ago, but now I'm going to see if you made any videos with some of the theory behind it. Thanks for the lesson.😊
great video, thank you for teaching us..
awesome. thank you. very helpful for finger exercises and changing chords
Again, Thank you! And, yes, very interested in theory behind this work. So heartening. Thanks!
Bravo marco sei stato chiaro, semplice e prezioso con queste progressioni di accordi, grazie mille!!!
Thanks for this Marco, definitely interested in learning more about the theory behind this

This was such a good step for me to go and enjoy playing my uke more! Would love to learn more about music theory from you!
Really interesting, thanks!
This is great, thank you!!! I feel like this will make it a lot easier to create songs too.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, I find it soulful. Btw What is the meaning of the numbers written underneath the cords?
Thanks! Loved it. Great tool for writing songs too. Also, great for finger picking. I think hearing and copying your picking has helped me turn a corner. Again, thanks. It's difficult for me because I'm a jazz vocalist and I have an awesome band, guys that have been playing for decades. Hard to be patient as a beginner. But, I have a great ear so this helps. Plus your videos are fun. Easy to play with at the end of the day, even if I'm tired.
Excelente! Parabéns! Didática nota 1000
You are a great instructor. Thank you!
Thank you! I will make songs with these :)
This was fantastic, and yes some theory is always welcome!
Yes it would be good for understanding how progression is developed. Love to learn the why a d how behind the notes.
Great video! Very helpful.
Hi Marco! Been watching your videos and they're really great. I love your style and I also recognize and appreciate your musicality and professionalism. From watching you, I've come to the conclusion that Music Theory is a MUST in order to get really good, like next level good. So YES, please offer more music theory lessons!
Thanks for this marco 🙏
Very useful lesson 👍thanks dear
Thanks Marco! Another great lesson! I have the theory but not all those great chord progressions! I like songs from the 1960's which we cover in that zoom jam group I am in. There are plenty here, starting with the Beatles of course!! Thanks again
I love the way that you teach us but please make a lesson on rivers flows on you in your arrangement
thank you so much for doing this. as a beginner I'm learning so much from your videos.

Love it. You play so beautiful no matter what you play. You are the Liberace of the ukulele in my opinion says Judy Corrette
Thanks for this great look into popular chord progressions. I had no idea all these popular songs use the same progression!

To answer your end question: Yes I'm interested in music theory as a way to progress and advance my own ukulele playing. I've tried to learn on my own but the written lessons I see are very confusing and I haven't found anything on youtube to keep things clear for me. I"d love to see how you would teach Music Theory
Great job!

I prefer to think about vi-IV- I-V rather than i-VI-III-VII. Anyway thanks for your great video! I'm just started to pick up ukulele and find your channel is very helpful!
thanks, marco! yeah! and yeah, brother.
Great marco, I would like to know Theory. Bass players work with numbers which i think are the notes of the scale. So you need to know the Key's notes to know which are the chords of the progression. I think
Been looking for information like this for a while now. THANK YOU!!! I love how you give us very well known common examples of each progression. Very helpful! Thank you thank you thank you Marco!!

Yes !! I have a small group that plays easy to intermediate and are glued to sheet music or chord play alongs. They won’t look up ! I’ve tried 1 6m 4 5 …. Now I have more songs and more patterns. They will have no choice now. Lol
Can you tell me what Ukeulele you are playing in this video please? Thanks so much for your superior video tutorials and infovids. Keep them coming !👍👍👍
Marco, how in the world could anyone do a better job in teaching music -- Simplifying. Inspiring. Motivating even loving on Your listeners … as You have: Jesus has richly blessed You in my hunch. Thank You. As a 74 yr old, I’m looking forward to ‘pressing on’ and enjoying music making & inspiring my 11 g-kids and 5 son’s to do the same. THANK YOU SON. (Excellent Job !!!!)
I would like to understand the theory behind keys and chord progressions. Thank you.

Interesting..👍🏽
Would love music theory lessons, left OPFM as impossible to practice every day, love your lessons but would to have Jazz included in your videos
Thank you Marco. I like your lessons very much!!! I think there is a small mistake: in chord progression 5 the Dmajor progression starts with a Gchord, not, as described, with an Fchord.😉. Best regards from Germany Elisabeth

Im just giving myself a bookmark here, dont mind me 3:14
Im confused, 2.54 you say chord progression number two is I-VI-III-IV but then you play I-VI-III-IV ... and then play examples using I-VI-III-VII
theory please 🥺
Nice moon bird😉 Is your wife OK with this new family member?😂😅
the problem ist for me as a beginner is I cant play the F chord, it just wont work yet
👍👌❤️
Hi! I m from Argentina. Love your videos and you are a very kind teacher. I have noticed your examples are only songs in English. Why is that? I love the examples but there are lots of beautiful songs in spanish you can use. Gustavo Cerati, Charly García are one of the better musicians we have. But there are lots of them. Thank you for your lessons!
I’m the sort of person who would like to learn all these before a single peice. Why is that? Too much anxiety maybe
Killer audio..
