I can't really wrap my mind around the Lions not being on the loyal list. Those fans have nothing to cling on to legit only have one playoff win since the super bowl era and that's it.... Yet people still support them year after year.

Chargers fan here. Born and raised in San Diego, I have loved the chargers my whole life. When they left San Diego it broke my heart, ownership is terrible. The fans in San Diego where great. San Diego could be a great sports town. But they want a winner. My conspiracy theory was spanos manufactured a losing team by bringing in terrible coaches, never spending on positions of need, and pawned blame off on the hotel owners in downtown. Just so he could move the team to make more money. But it’s backfired, he’s basically the LA Jets, is using a stadium that isn’t his, and will always be the lowest on the LA sports totem pole. Even if they manage to win a Super Bowl, it’ll be the most bittersweet win for Chargers fans. Because a San Diego fan base wouldn’t even get the satisfaction of a championship parade.

Soooo are we just gonna ignore that the 12 Man and Chiefs Fans both broke the Guinness books of world records loudest crowd noise in a outdoor stadium.

Another Loyal fan base I’d have is the Chicago bears. The Bears have had some of the Highest sold out games in the NFL. These fans travel well aswell, the last time the Bears played Jacksonville, there were more Bears fans than Jag fans (but not many people like the jags). This team hasn’t had much success since the 80s, but this team’s fan base stays loyal through all the pain.

As a Jags fan we are loyal. If you're a jags fan, you're automatically loyal due to the suffering you've endured. Throughout my childhood I was bullied over and over for supporting them and yet I still gave people the finger. Anyways, we're never going to give them up. You hear that Duval chant for a reason!

This actually happened to me in the 90s with the cowboys. I was a super fan and when Jerry Jones got rid of Jimmy Johnson after 2 consecutive super bowl wins it was the start of a slow exit for me from being a fan to being just a neutral observer of their games. But I will say Snyder is worse than Jones in many ways.

I'm going to the Eagles Washington game in October. I was able to purchase 12 seats all next to each other on the 40 in section 200. There's no way you could do that in Philly. Especially in September.

Every fan base in the NFC North is extremely loyal to their respective team. I can understand why you'd not want to put all of them on there. As a Vikings fan, I've suffered through so much disappointment because of their playoff choking and acceptance of being good but not great. And yet here I am. Still wearing purple and chanting SKOL! Hopefully Kevin O'Connell and Kwesi Adofo-Mensah can help turn things around and get us a Lombardi trophy.

The Bears are one of the most loyal fanbases in all of sports. I grew up watching the Bears get 4-5 wins per season and they still had a packed house. And every game I ever got to go to was against other terrible teams, like the early Ravens or Lions, and every time the stadium was completely packed for a battle of the cellar dwellers.

For Green Bay and Bears fans a losing season is considered a success as long as they beat "THEM". And Green Bay has owned the Bears since the mid 90s. Think of it as revenge for The Fridge.

When I was a kid, I kinda felt bad when I switched teams from Washington to Baltimore. But after learning about Snyder, I can easily say that it was the right decision. Its honestly between him and Haslam for the worst owner currently

I've been a Chargers fan for over 7 years now; while the move to LA devastated me at first (as I have special connections to SD), I had to silently root for them anyway since I lived in NorCal (Since I hate the 9er's, I do have an ironic fondness for the Raiders). Commanders fanbase is definitely trending up. There were quite a lot of people in FedEX yesterday against the Panthers in preseason. Still I agree as a fan of the team. Most of us dont buy tickets because we dont want Snyder to get more money, he is by far the worst owner in all of sports

If I'm not mistaking, there was a report where there were little to almost no fans seen on the 2nd day of Commanders training camp. I hear FedEx Field was only like 35% full in yesterday’s preseason game, and most fans who did go to the game rooted for the Panthers.

Last game I went to was Pats @ Redskins, last year Brady was on the Pats. It was pathetic how many Pats jerseys filled the stadium and the ‘defense’ chants when we took the field on offense we’re deafening. I bleed burgundy and gold even as our team transitions from one name to another and tries to build a winning culture but there’s only so much nonsense we’re going to take from Snyder. He’s not just a bad owner, he’s diving loyal fans away from the franchise with poor leadership, head scratching decisions that set us back years (Haskins) and scandal after scandal other ‘bad’ owners seem to avoid with ease. Most of us are part of a loyal die hard fan base displaying the symptoms of our abusive LTR with Snyder.

My dad has been a loyal Rams fan since the late 60s. He was so happy when they came back to L.A. in 2016. The reason the Broncos have so many fans is that they exist in an area in the the next closest NFL teams are in Seattle, San Francisco and Vegas. The only other nearby pro sports team outside of Denver is the NBA’s Jazz in Salt Lake City.

I’m a Colts fan. I feel like we’re somewhere in the middle. I agree with (real) Packers fans. My wife knows a family that retired from the military, and after traveling the world for 25 years, they decided to move three miles from Lambeau. As far as fake fans that I’ve seen, Pats, Chiefs, Steelers, Cowboys, Rams, and recently the Bucs.

All you really show by saying Steelers fans are fake, is how jealous you are. You would be hard pressed to go anywhere in a 200 mile radius of Pittsburgh on gameday and not find the game on TV in homes, bars, grocery stores, ect, theres at least a minimum of 15 weddings a year where yinzers are dressed like they are going to a game for the wedding and reception. Hell there's more steelers fans in some cities, that have their own team, than fans of said team, Name 1 other team with as much consistent winning in the last 50 years? Hell no one cheered in Indy until 98, better stick to what you hoosiers know, basketball, corn and being a mostly land locked state that produces lots of boats.(edited some grammer)

As a long time chargers fan, I agree with the fact that we lost many fans after relocating, but those who have stayed are some of the most loyal because of the things we go through every year after getting our hopes up (most recent being a certain 27-0 lead…)

I have read and gone over many a NFL fan base list and I must say this is the Most Accurate and Spot on list out there! Well done! GO PACK GO!!

Seattle should have been among the five worst. I was forced to spend most of my childhood there. Shitchicken home games were blacked out in the early 1990s when the team sucked- and nobody went to their games. And this whole "12 Man" thing- they stole that from Texas A&M.

As a loyal, diehard Redskins fan, I can't argue.. it's sad because 20 years ago, we would of been on the loyal side of this list. Snyder has blame, so does FedEx field, so does the league, and mainly the transient crap that's poured out of DC more every year since i was a kid..

Do 5 teams that made the playoffs in 2021 and will make the playoffs again in 2022 and 5 teams that did made the playoffs in 2021 and will missed the playoffs in 2022

Added note on the Packers. They have a season ticket waiting list of I believe over 100K. They also have two season ticket fan bases. Green Bay (the Green package) and Milwauke (the Gold package).

Browns fans are the best, and I'm proud to be a part of it. We will be rewarded eventually.

As a Bengals fan, we have secretly revealed ourselves as an incredibly dedicated fan base. We’ve just not had anything to root for for years. This “new” support from Cincinnati has been bubbling under the surface. The city has just been relit by Joe Burrow and the rebuild. We’ve added new fans, but if you haven’t been to a Bengals home game, the atmosphere is always that of a playoff game.

I’m an Eagles fan, who genuinely loves the loyalty of the Eagles fanbase; however, they are rather crazy. My girlfriend is a Giants fan and we chose to go to Giants vs. Eagles last season. I got tickets to the game in East Rutherford because I was afraid of what could happen in Philly if she went there in Giants stuff.

Surprised Philly didn't make the list. We tailgate training camp. Even on the graphic they showed in the Washington section, Eagles had a higher attendance percentage than The Packers, Bills, and Steelers. The Link seats 69,796. Since 2003 (when it opened, Capacity 69,144) they never dropped below 69,000, and only once dropped below 69,500 after 2013 (when it was expanded to current capacity.), except for 2020.

I went to a Ravens game there and it was 50% Ravens fans! And it seems like a lot of others were just given free tickets and showed up. The guy sitting next to me was a Jets fan. 😆

Thank you for including the Broncos on this list as one of the most loyal fan bases. I'll tell you one thing my dad is not: a bandwagon Dallas fan. He's been a fan, for, what, almost 65 years, since they came into the league. He will be loyal until his dyin' day. Every team goes through ups & downs, it's just the way it is. Look @ the Patriots the last, what, 4-5 years, since Brady left? That's when you find out who your loyal fans & bandwagon fans are, when your team(s) go to shit.

These guys are idiots and know nothing about football Raiders and Eagles along with the Steelers always draw fans no matter where they play.

Love to see the Browns get the love they deserve. They also have the biggest backers out of any team in the league. I have been to backers bars In Ireland, England, Italy, and Germany. You don't get more die hard then the state that started it all, and have the greatest coach, running back and quarterback to ever play the game.

I would say over the past 30 years. Lynn Dickey (1970s and 1980s) was an average QB. David Whitehurst, Randy Wright and Don Majkowski were average or below average. Favre didn’t come until 1992. The Packers have had three superstar QBs: Starr, Favre and Rodgers.

I remember the down Packer years. My goal was always to still have a shot at the playoffs with 2 games remaining. That was a successful season, but never missed a game.

As a life long falcons fan.. I can relate to ppl not wanting to PAY MONEY for the experience of crushing defeat.

As a Steelers fan I think Baltimore should at least get an honorable mention. How many cities lose a franchise but the band continued to practice for years waiting for a franchise to return. That is what I would call loyalty. I may vehemently hate the Ravens but I do respect how the fans waited and always believed football would return to their city.

It's easy to be loyal when your team is successful. Try being a die hard Lions fan. I've met Packer fans that told me to their face they wouldn't support the team if they had losing records every year.

I went to a giants at buccs game and felt like I was at a giants home game lol. To be fair, NYers seem to retire in FL, but I got more compliments on my Bradshaw jersey there than I ever got at a home game.

I would say any fan base in the afc south (excluding the colts) love their team! 😁 Us in the south are brothers… you’ll see fans of both the Texans and jags come to Nissan stadium, and vice versa. We just hope that someone in the division that has the least teams that have won a superbowl just makes it to one and takes it home for us ❤️

When Drew Bledsoe led the Patriots to the superbowl he played to a half empty stadium. A few superbowls later and Grandmas in Iowa have #12 jerseys.

I grew up in MA a proud Chiefs fan and wore my bright red and yellow Chiefs starter jacket to school every winter day while everyone else had Celtics coats their dads had from the last time they were good, if any sports related clothes at all (some diehard Sox fans from before they were good, so props to them). After 2001, it was amazing how many "lifelong" patriots fans just magically appeared. 20% of the people there truly support their teams, and I am happy for them for winning the sport fan lottery, the other 80% are the definition of bandwagon. Keep in mind this is simply one observation from one midwesterner transplanted to western Massachusetts for 2 decades.

TPS-Duval County doesn’t care much about football Florida-FSU football rivalry and Florida-Georgia football game -Are we a joke to you? I’m a Jaguars fan and we are exactly like Browns fans. But if Kahn moves the Jaguars to London I’m switching fanbases. As someone who has grown up in north Florida when it comes to NFL fanbases it is mainly just Jaguars and the plague known as the Steelers bandwagon fans.

Chiefs fans went through three horrible decades of football. We deserve some sort of mention for holding out for the future all those years.

I am a bucs fan and I have been a bucs fan my whole life. Before Brady Ray Jay was still usually almost 80 to 90 percent full. It was only around 2018 and 2019 when attendance started to drop

I always get a tear drop from my eye when I’m told I’m a bandwagon Bucs fan. Greg schiano, Raheem Morris, dirk koetter, lovie smith, jameis winston, josh McCown josh freeman, Mike glennon Chris simms, Jeff Garcia, Byron leftwich (as a qb AND the offensive coordinator) josh johnson and who could ever forget the one time the bucs had some spotlight when Ryan fitzmagic did 3 hall of fame level games and gave us hope after a decade of mediocrity. Brady has been the best thing to happen for us and he will always be appreciated. He gave me feeling of glory for once long after I thought I’d never see a super bowl outside when I was 3 years old and can’t remember it. Now it’s time for my flappy bois to finally win one

What happened to the Eagles one of the most loyal fanbases in the last couple of decades during the Andy Reid, Chip Kelly, Doug Pederson, and now Nick Sirianni era. Like those 4 head coaches have been to the playoffs and the team always shows up during the games and the fanbase is really the best supporting their QB and many other things which shows that the fans of Philly support their team. Like who won't skip on the Eagles.

Alot of Washington fans like me felt that we meant nothing to the team when your team has been around for almost a hundred years and you change the name because of people's feelings it feels like they care more about money than the fans

As a Washington fan I refuse to go to that stadium for a multitude of reasons. Don’t wanna give Snyder money. Don’t wanna sit in traffic for 3 hours. Don’t want sewage spilt on my head. The list goes on and on.

Can't be a Brown's fan without first saying "Long suffering"

Regarding the Chargers: since the LA region is so big, what would be cool if the Chargers would market itself more towards the Orange County/Inland Empire market. I live in Riverside, California and there are quite a bit of Bolts fans in the IE. In the same effect that there are a lot of Angels fans out here. Plus, the Chargers need to win and win big games. LA is certainly big enough for 2 teams but as of now, SoFi is still Rams House. However, they have a good team this year so we'll see.

Though, it would've been nice if the Chargers relocated to Anaheim and have their own stadium built, along with the Clippers whose previous owner should have selected to play their home games at Honda Center, sharing it with the Ducks. Therefore, Anaheim, the O.C. and the I.E., have their own teams to cheer and spread their identity in neighboring cities. Heck, the MLS should have rewarded Anaheim an expansion team, rather than giving another one to L.A., which they already have the Galaxy occupying the L.A. market.

I live near where Aaron Rodgers was born/grew up. It used to be a town full of niners fans, but everyone switched up when Rodgers got drafted lol

In the past six years, there have been more visiting Chiefs fans at Chargers games than Chargers fans.
