We were used for assassination of Jedis and Guarding when Vader doesn't have his armour and rarely used to guard the Emperor

In the game the Shadow Guard apears to be rather powerful. They use force repulse, force lightning and seem to have rather impressive telekinetic abilities. I have even read that they could use force whirlwind, though I don't remember if they ever use this power.

Idea: do an episode where you describe your “perfect fleet”, with access to ships from Star Wars, Halo, Mass Effect, and/or other sci-fi universes. (18th try)

Pulse Spear mass effect needs to be left out as well unless you need meat shields cause low kilotons done belong with the megaton of the others

Sovereign protectors are my fav. I also didn’t know imperial sentinels are a thing. And since they guard the most secretive places then I would think they are guards

The biotic/electrical hammer seems just as good since that can beat down shit far bigger than Brutes in one or two hits. And the M-300 Claymore can blast through metres of solid stone or even gib a Thresher Maw. Honestly, I think Krogan have better gear by category, the Brutes just have them in sheer strength, size and speed.

EchartsLadder, i want you to compare the Lost Planet series weapons, energy sources, science, vehicles, warships etc, to the Halo series, Star Wars series, mechassault series, Tiatinfall series, Sonic Unleashed, Star Trek series, Mass Effect series, the daleks and Cyberman (Doctor who anime)- (information) and the characters of the Doctor Who series, Max Steel, the animated show, Battleship (2012) the movie and the Vanquish video game. I recommend you do that.

Who were those guards at the end of star wars rebels? Were they just red guards without their cape and better/ different equipment?

It's strange that the shadow guards used lightsabers and sovereign prtectors, who were the most elite unit, did not.

In all truth. The Custodes would murder them with a single shield company or Constantin Valdor himself. Great vid btw.

I feel like any prospective guard showing Force ability would be shunted off to the Inquisitors (canon or legends) or some other force based group (ie Mara Jade) if not simply killed

But Gordin Tierce died rather anonymously on Generis and the Grodin Tierce (clone) was dispatched very quickly and seemingly effortlessly by another one of Zahn's overpowered assassin races. I also found his machinations with the triumvirate to be more comical and short sighted than effective.

According to Ball Size Measurement and Coolness Factor, you can't beat the Shepard.

I personally believe that ‘honorable mentions’ should at least be made for Guards outside of Infantry Roles should be named (swg.wikia.com/wiki/Imperial_Guard_TIE_Interceptor). However, this was a pretty good & interesting list to type the least. Good job!

The most loyal imperial guards. They guarded and watched over Palpatine on the Death Star 2 without any relief or break for several days straight and stayed with him through the end, Tag and Binks.
