Really cool to see that you’re a fan of the Iron Snail. Your channel and his are a couple of my favorites that I’ve started watching this year. In terms of jackets, the Iron Heart black horsehide type 3 leather jacket is on the top of my list for next year. I recently got the N1 deck jacket from them and love it. Great video as always, and happy holidays!

Yeah man. His content, production and just great story telling is insane. I saw the IH Horeshide but for me it has to be TFH or even RMC when it comes to leather. I dunno, it's want i was first introduced to when getting into this stuff and I just love it. Thanks for the comments mate. Happy holidays to you too!

Nice watch per usual. Own a cardigan and crissman over shirt from Dehen. Might get some kick back on this but construction rivals that of iron heart.

The Kersey work shirt looks fantastic under low light conditions.

Agreed Flat Head makes the best leather jackets hands down haha. I liked the single pocket jacket you showed as well but that D-pocket one I think you modeled in before at RnH kept growing on me more and more it looks too badass haha

The double does look good, though I just love the simplicity of the single. So good!

Lots to think about here with these jackets. But they really can’t be compared to one another. You’ve got a grail piece leather jacket, a two type 3s, a military repro, and a varsity all in the same list. You could also probably use the money you would spend on the The Flat Head jacket to buy all the other jackets you mentioned. So do you want quality or quantity? Not to knock the other jackets at all, but The Flat Head is…well…The Flat Head Also love your channel, and love the shout out to The Iron Snail!!!

I think Naked &Famous is Canadian, but I could be wrong. Great video, and two in a week..keep them coming.

I have three leather jackets from Aero (The Boardracer = Café Racer, a Ridley = cross zip, and the Premier Highwayman = classic collar). I spec‘d Horween CXL for all of them (one tumbled) and cannot recommend them enough! The craftsmanship is outstanding and ordering through Carrie from Thurston Brothers takes away the guesswork in getting your perfectly fitting jacket that will only get better with time.

Great choices. My all time grail jacket would be the The Flat Head Riders jacket but that one is just too far off for me. But 2022 I'll for sure be adding my second favorite jacket a SchottNYC 613S to my collection 😎.

The flyers club jacket looks cool! Do you have any experience with Private White VC? I've been looking at their pilots bomber, which looks comparable.

Hey man, I said on another comment that I really loved them for a time. I followed them on IG after seeing a few items but ultimately I never got to go in store and they slipped my mind. Lots of people keep mentioning them though so maybe it is time to re-vist in the new year! Hope you're good!

@@CameronO Mate, it has been nothing short of spectacular!? Many years of trial and error with leather jackets but this is the one, no doubt. The fit, the leather, the understated details... You need to pull the trigger! 😉

Got an Aero leather jacket in CXFQHH a few month ago, can only recommend, this will last a lifetime! Be prepared for something thick and heavy

@@CameronO Sorry for the late reply mate Honestly the stiffness was a bit of a shock at first because of how hard and thick the leather is, I was worried about having made mistake ordering it in the first place But after breaking in, the jacket feels like a second skin and the concerns about the jacket completely disappeared, it is very comfortable and looks amazing I recommend it 100%, it will last you a lifetime

@@CameronO the OG is green, then they tried red, and now brought back the green - its the best value jacket you can get - I opted for alpaca lining and concealed poppers on the pockets

Stuarts in Shepherds Bush sells Naked and Famous. Jeans and Jackets. They have quite a large stock.

Anyone know if the Tanuki jacket is rope or reactive dyed?

I own the Flat Head Leather Jacket. Here in Germany both leather jackets, RMC A2 and Tve Flat Jead leather jacket, cost the same price : 2200€. I tried both, but at the end it is like Cameron says. The Flat Head fits better to everyday life. I also prefer the cut anyway and the leather is much more soft. The color is an very much dark brown. And it is very shiny at the beginning.

Hey Tobias, I haven't. They have some nice goretex jackets though. Have you tried them out?

I bought the Double Rider’s Jacket from Rivet and Hide! They use the same leather. Let me know if you have any questions or how it breaks in. One thing I tell people is it comes across like a very very dark brown, not a pure black, and the teacore is more reddish that the real McCoys.

@@CameronO Whenever I’m not at work I’m wearing it (I’m a waiter). Getting better and better every day! Definitely a grail and signature piece.

Those flat head jackets have shoulder widths that are noticeably too wide. The measurements look off and you can even see that when they are modeled they don't look right. Sorry for so many written comments by the way. Think I just write as an immediate response to whatever you say in real time because your style of video feels like a friendly conversation. Keep up the great work!

I think the modelling is can be deceiving. Sometimes they model smaller sizes to make things look good, though isn't always comfortable. I do know that the single riders jacket on me at least is super comfortable!

I love Dehen but sooo frustrated that they decided to use a polyester lining on the varsity. For that price, a satin or even nylon lining would be way better. Polyester is like wearing a plastic bag :(

Hey Cameron I hope you are well. Thanks for the videos you post. I find the really helpful. Particularly when making purchases. I’m pretty new to heritage clothing, and your videos will hopefully help me not to make expensive mistakes with wrong purchases. I was going to ask. Did you ever purchase the Flat Head Jacket reviewed in your video. I was in Rivit and Hyde this week and tried it on. It’s a crazy price, but omg what a stunning jacket. I fell in love with it.
