Great compilation here and moderate replay speed; thank you!! Except @34:20, this should show ‘0-1’ for Black to win the game. Thanks again.

Hardly; his style was incredible and his results at times mind bugling: Fischer managed to create a peak at the right time to beat Spasskij (the formidable sportsman cut Fischer some slack in Reykjavik and went against Breznev et al. to play on, remember?) in a match for the title; had he been able to come up against Karpov, I suppose he could've been up there with Kasparov, Murphy, Carlsen, Botvinnik and Alekhine. Fischer, like Larsen, will always be a personal favourite of mine, though.

At about 1:42 when Bobby made that Knight move why didn't His Opponent take the Knight with His Knight? And if Fisher would have Checked Him with His Queen He could have blocked the Check by putting His Knight right back where it was and saved His Knight. Have a good one, ☮️ out. Freeman from Mt. Clemens, Michigan.

Sounds like el passant if pawn jumps two spaces on first move but instead of meeting opponents pawn your pawn jumps pass it your opponent has the option to take your pawn like a capture he doesn’t have to tho he could just play it out if he wants that choice is his

Why did Myagmarsuren resign at this stage. I have set this game up and played multiple variations and can’t see how he was in imminent danger of mate after taking Fishers queen if he had gone on the offensive and advanced his pawn. This would have forced Fisher to take the newly crowned queen with his rook. Myagmarsuren could have then taken that rook with his and put Fisher in check. There were still lots of pieces on the board and Fisher had lost his queen. I’m a new player and have perhaps missed something obvious but it seemed like a premature resignation. I have not used a search engine because that makes it too easy and I don’t learn as much.

Because once black takes the queen it will lead to a forced checkmate.. white h pawn will capture the black pawn and the rook behind it checks.. only legal moves are recapture pawn on g6 (then the white bishop gives checkmate) or hide on g8 (then rook goes to h8 checkmate)

Cause it's a checkmate after 3 moves, king takes Fischer's queen, fischer captures the pawn and rook goes to a final check.

Grandmasters are supper cool at counting moves Bobby Fischer once said that his maximum calculation can reach up to 20 moves in chess Once I watched this video on another channel I couldn't help imagining how both players were analysing moves it was supper they made a master piece on the board but you can watch the full video on agadmater channel or levy gothamn

@@giftkukwa7644 I do watch Agadmator and other channels i believe of course being the great grandmasters and genius’s at chess they were they’re able to see moves 20 moves ahead of time but I wonder why at beginning of game each player sort of gave a free Bishop once for a pawn and the other because he did not move it
