Two words of advice from someone who learned the game as a 10 year-old watching Jimmy Lewis play at Uniondale HS in 1960, JUMP ROPE! Start with the slower thicker ropes and work your way up. This will develop your quadriceps and give you first step capability. Then go to the WALL, wall ball will make you ambidextrous. Good Luck.

I find the finalizer works best with a swim dodge instead of the second split, because usually good defenders have their sticks around your hip area even after the roll dodge.

a hitch is used 9/10 times to fake a shot not really a face dodge. Didn't really think about it like that but cool take on it !

I’m in 8th grade and have recently been wanting to become a very effective dodger. I’m a small lefty attack men and need a way to get by the bigger defenders.

Always remember, the smaller attackers will always have the edge...take your defender to X, make him guess and cross his feet, when the slide comes it's a lay-up on the crease. Jump Rope.

I’m a lil confused about the hitch dodge, it just looks like your faking a shot on the goal
