Be a deceptive shooter

He taught me you don’t have to be super fast and strong to be good at lacrosse, he taught me that you can use your creativity to make good plays because they’re unexpected and have fun while doing it.

I go to the same high school that Ryder took a PG year at. I learned that creativity is key and makes the game more fun. It is great tool be comfortable in any situation with two or one hand.

One tip that Ryder gave was to be creative, and clearly he lives by it because what’s more creative than a one-handed pass with your off hand?

Being versatile and well rounded.

To be creative, simply creative!

The biggest tip for me was that being unpredictable is able to make up for slower or less powerful shots

He showed that you need creativity, its what makes the players different from one another and in the end makes the game more fun. Creativity makes the game interesting, fun, and always keeps the defender guessing

Be creative. I'm a coach for middle and high school players and not a day/practice/game goes by where my message isn't "Have fun, Be creative and Don't be afraid to make mistakes". And that is the reason why I play and love the game.

Ryder garney help me with the creativity I will need as an attack man and I truly think that is so much fun to watch

To be unpredictable on the field if you aren’t the strongest, or faster on the field. It will keep the defenders on their toes. As a defender myself I will keep this in mind for the up coming season, to expect the unexpected thanks for the tip Ryder roll woods.

Ryder Garnsey said "if you don't have a fast shot you can be a deceptive shooter so the goalie doesn't know where your going with the ball." Also he said that there will hopefully be a championship for the redwoods "ROLL WOODS!!!" Being a redwoods fan I like to hear that.

One tip that I got from garnsey is that you have to make the defender think your going one way and having him put pressure there so that enables you to go the other direction

Tip from Ryder if u want to go one way make your defender apply pressure to the opposite side. Ryder is my favorite player in the league and i look up to him and try to model my game after him. I would love to win the Ryder Garnsey player tee!!!!

It’s important to use shot release angles to make up for possible lack of shot speed to get past the goalie

Always change the plane your are shooting on and be super creative so a the opposing team has to account for all the different things you could do

Shooting deception if you don't shoot the fastest. Also, from the Unbuckled Chinstrap, don't call your professor's bluff and go to class so you can remain academically eligible for the season.

Stay creative and deceptive when shooting with different angles (overhand, side arm, low to high)

He taught me to be creative and confident in myself when on off and on the field. I don’t need to be the faster or biggest out there but to create new ways to disorient the defender.

Try to get defenceman to apply pressure to right if you want to go left

Stay creative because it keeps you unpredictable

Be spontaneous but not reckless with your shots, it doesn't always have to be a two-point Lazer to the top corner if you can change up your release point and shot style.
