Holy grafhics why it is so beatiful?

i know shotguns have low damage and low ammo, but like i said, it allows for easier overdives. try it out yourself, get up close to an enemy and you will see a big difference.

great job man i think the voice actor in this game version is much sweet/charming hahahaah

I spent 4 hours on them when I was lvl 15. Extremely exhausted afterwards.

Now looking back, the type 0 gameplay is exactly like this.

Late asf but thank you! I kept saying it to my self after playing Parasite eve2 on my phone. I hate how they changed the OG system. It shines in 3rd birthday at somepoints but I hate the restricted feeling

I believe Hexadrive worked on both games.

I played the game for 70+ hours. If I remember correctly its true what you said about lightnings costume. Finally Genocide and Insane are the same, Genocide is the highest difficulty in Japan and insane is the name given in the localized version.

Great video! you can shoot to the Helix claws while is hang up in the building and make more damage, also you can shoot from the building to its feet to show the ODK (Overdrive Kill) Icon, but thanks so much for the video, that battle with Emily help me a lot! XD

@troumbe Cheat codes get unlocked depending on feats you've finished, number of times you've beaten the game, and 2 are bought for 10,000 BP each. 10,000 BP cheats are: Free Crossfire, allows you to crossfire with soldiers when they're not taking cover, and High Regen: Increases Aya's LIFE regen immensely. Finishing the game 10 times gets you unlimited ammo, and all the others are challenge codes (i.e suspending regen or halving your ammo)

Nice Walkthrough Dude !! Though for OE setting, Inferno is fucking fail ... all u need is Kill boost and Energy Shot and it deals much more Dmg then a Inferno at full Liberation ! Save that slot for Rapid Link ... which is a necessity to defeat Emily !!

Very good playthrough on Insane mode mate nice unique style, and I just loved the quality of this video as well! :) The last boss(at 7:43) in this episode basically is cheap not hard to kill it, but there^s even an easier trick to kill this bastard u don^t have to shoot the humming tops either just waste of ammo and time! I have ridden your comment and honestly I must tell u this game is not as hard as u think it is not even on genocide or insane mode - it^s just patient playing that^s all! :)))

Hi, im about to start playing insane/genocide mode......what would reccommend??? my player level is lvl 83 and for my weapons i use a DB62SPECACS, and either a sniper, or an overdive-easy shot gun....... also what would you reccommend for my OE settings????

Get the ,,Blaze Edge,, weapon then u can damage on Emily easily. What u must do is Shoot her with Blaze Edge as long as her body does not start to flame then use Liberation and when the yellow triangle appears on her body then used overdive kill and u have a chance to make much damage on her!

Just don't try to play new game on hard difficulty, because this boss will be your first and last boss in this game (it's no any way to get past her on hard without high level and tons of weapon)

Seriously, I started my first playthrough yesterday on hard, and I'm considering starting over on normal. Mechanically, it's not even a hard boss, it just hits like a tank and takes forever to kill.

I don't understand, usually at 3:20, that stomp would've killed me on one hit, how's that possible to survive? (i have similar OE chips as u) anyway, I'm using PMR sniper and another handgun with highest impact (think it's called SSA40 or sth) for the helix, and changed pile bunker for that handgun on emily, still works though.

How the hell are you level 79 and have an almost complete 9 unique skills OE board? I had been lvl 99 for quite a while before completing my first all skill slots lvl 25 board.

Is story of this game connected to Parasite Eve 1 and 2? It's Parasite Eve 3 or some spin off?

Yes and No. It has been officially classified as a "spiritual successor" to the Parasite Eve series. Yes in that the character names are the same as some of the previous Parasite Eve games (Eve, Aya Brea, Kunihiko Maeda). No because due to legal reasons, Sony had apparently lost the rights to the Parasite Eve name, and so couldn't brand this "Parasite Eve 3" and therefore had to seriously dial back many of the key plot points (like the mitochondrial powers/influence from the previous games). Many fans of the previous 2 games are split on the issue. Some like this game, or at least the soundtrack (Yoko Shimomura hasn't lost her touch for brilliance), as well as some of the RPG elements like weapon leveling and Overdive mechanics. Others see this as an irredeemable product born out of pure greed and an attempt by Sony to market shovelware to a devoted fanbase by slapping the identity of a formerly beloved franchise on the cover.

I played the first title to completion (including Chrysler Building), but was never able to get into the second game mostly because I can't handle the Resident Evil-esque tank controls (plus I feel like they tried too hard to turn Aya into a badass action heroine in a short skirt, forgetting that she started as a quiet, contemplative, sometimes self-doubting rookie NYPD). While Parasite Eve 1 is one of my favorite PS games of all time (next to Legend of Dragoon), it just felt like they tried too hard to turn Parasite Eve 2 into Resident Evil 2. At the time of release, I personally enjoyed the 3rd Birthday. Even stripped of it's Parasite Eve trappings, I found it to be a fun little adventure with RPG elements, including a convoluted time-traveling plot (which I tried not to think about too hard). It started to drag a bit towards the end, as enemies took more and more bullets to kill (but didn't really change in variety) and ammo pickups got further and further apart. And then there was that final battle with the Reaper that almost completely redeemed even those parts of the game. The ending was left purposefully ambiguous, as after Eve shoots Aya and erases her from existence, a new timeline is created. Whether or not Eve meets "Aya" outside the church is left completely unclear (sequel hook?), but I felt it to be a rather weak finish on an otherwise decent title.

Man even with the assist codes in use it's still a bitch to beat genocide mode it took me about 4 hours, to kill this first boss. Man did I have a time with Emily I mean her in her shade mode is a super bitch and the only way to even hurt her is destroying her fangs and that alone will take some time because she will use her teleport and her instant kill move alot, but when she uses her fangs you have to be on the move because They kill you in one shot, I know for a fact I might have to do this

@OmnileoneS beat this game on normal, then hard, then deadly, and finally genocide/insane... then you have a 50% chance of winning a comment war.... possibly =P

The Emily boss is glitched for me. She keeps recharging her health and I can never get the chance to press Triangle after going in Liberation. This game is fucking horrible.
