He is rather rare owner, he actually knew that full electric = FWD only. And know the MPG of his car, hats of sire.

While I think it has supercar esque looks but 6 figures and only 369 hp is fucking daylight robbery.

I rate how Ricky gets ppl like this on the channel because some ppl think it’s impossible to get a nice car, but it really isn’t, it just requires a different thought process to how your going to earn and stack your paper.

I like the owner's enthusiasm and it's a great car, but it's no supercar. And it's not very economical; a 435d will be faster and more efficient, not to mention less than half the price. Also, the engine sound is fake, it comes through the speakers.

I love these cars, I really really do. I'm BMW all the way, I just wish they would have used the b58 or at least more powerful electric motors on each axle, have it around 500hp total, it would at least be on par with nsx, McLaren etc that way.. if only, all that being said my next car will be a C7 z51 but I wish it was a more powerful version of the i8. The doors are so sick.

Not a fan of the i8 myself due to power/weight ratio and having driven many as a BMW tech but what I will say is they’re extremely planted and definitely put a smile on your face with artificial sound or not

Nice car...just needs wider tyres on the front...I like it and class it as GT/GTS car like an Aston rather than an out super/hypercar. I'll probably get the convertible in a couple years. It's a very nice cruising car. Looks-wise it blows the R8 and AMG GTs out of the water. You'd have to get a Lamborghini...

Why do BMW even bother with the chrome bezel on the kidneys? Anyone with any sense switches them out for black, first thing. Looks pretty awesome, though!

I saw an i8 today outside the chippy.

Not a Supercar. Sport car maybe...do like it in the Frozen paint.

Would I be mistaken to say a 1.5 turbo engine might be very similar to the mini engine. Great car mate but the only thing nice about a i8 is the doors and the only reason I say that is because you can get so much more car for the money in a different platform

It's a retuned version to about 250hp. Not bad to be fair. They are meant to be around the 400hp total mark.

Why so much negative comment towards the i8, it has the same synthetic fake sound like any bolt on turbo charged BMW, for those commenting about lost of value, vehicle acquisition is a liability, if you want to make a profit then invest in assets. I am a old Bimmer fan and do not have any passion for modern BMWs after e9x. Nice content Ricky and what a positive young man.
