one thing they didn't mention about the front suspension is the double ball joint, which effectively places the pivoting point past the center of the wheel allow for less tire degradation and also allows for large wheels to be fit in factory wheel well

Strut bar takes up a lot of space...thanks to this you won't be picking up any friends from the airport in this car!

Wow...thanks for this great video. I now have a brand new appreciation for my 350z. Its a wonder how we know little of the manufacturer whom built and engineer design and function of our cars. Truly amazing and worth every penny!.............Peace!

I bought one last yr for 3200 and it runs perfect. I paid less for my z then my s14, its crazy i love the performance.

@drjesus616 Yes, I agree with you that customers should get the complete product. I just though that many sport cars handle well without those "accessories" so it seems that the 350z's chassis wasn't originally strong enough.

The stock VQ and VG engines have sucked up until the late 06. The newer HR engine is a huge improvement, same with the VK.

i want to see they do that to the new 370z

@MisterPeetBull I go to the track at least 4 times a year to race my car with my friends, so I know what I'm talking about. Camaro's engines are really good, but they need suspension, and body rigidy work..

@MisterPeetBull I've driven both cars. My friend has a new one modded and tuned to 414rwhp. To be honest, I like the power, but as far as for handling, it wasn't as good as I though. The car has so much body roll, oversteers too much. You can actually feel the car's weight (too heavy) 3700lbs.. 350Z's handles alot better out the box. I've also driven a 2000 Camaro SS. The car is lighter, and weights about 3400lbs, but still oversteers too much, and loses time on track..

@killercrx91 that doesn't make sense. the Z is a good car stock but there's still plenty of room for improvement that won't cost a lot.

I'm not sure if it's good engineering when the car's chassis needs to be strenghten with bolted-on struts and other supporting parts. But I do like the 350Z anyways.

@MisterPeetBull You have to remember, your Camaro is only made for drag... Take that thing to the track (with turns), and the 350z will destroy you.. The reason why your Camaro is cheaper, cause all it is is a Engine in a Shell... 350z has more than that as you can see on this video.... Anywayz, you can't really compare those 2, since they're in a different class...

It's too bad they came out with the DE engine first and bot the HR. The HR is heaps better than the DE. I've owned both so trust me

It goes without question that the Japanese can make a vehicle for just about any situation imaginable. The question now is whether electric or gas has more appeal. You obviously won't win races by painting bright colors and sticking decals on a King TIger tank. One wonders whether an electron orbiting a hydrogen atom gets paid more than an electron orbiting a rhodium atom.

@hn1204 You wish that were true. Take a deeper look and do a little research. I work at a dealership and have driven many different 350Z's and 2 different s2000's (both stock). So I know for a fact that my shit is faster all around. You probably couldn't handle a car as fast as mine, that's why you drive that little thing. When it was bone stock it would wreck either one on a track, although it is no longer stock- I did a few mods
