  0:18 No hace falta motor eléctrico ni batería. Mediante un embrague entre el volante de inercia y el motor de combustión, al acelerar, el volante de inercia se frena y el motor de combustión se acelera. Al frenar pasa justo lo contrario, es decir, el motor de combustión se frena y el volante de inercia se acelera, almacenando la energía.
