My favorite house this year was the Icons house. It was so much fun each time we went through. Also we went through 3 times through the Friday and Saturday opening and somehow always got Lady Luck sitting on the throne.

There’s a rumor that James Keaton is going to retire after this HHN. If it’s true, I want him to know that we’re so grateful for the all of the scares, carnage, and mayhem he has given to us including with amazing acting that just makes the character Jack so much bigger that made him a star today. I have anxiety too and I went to HHN 2 years ago and I have to say it wasn't that bad. The one in California at least. The Florida version looks scary af 😳

FINALLY! Beetlejuice gets his own house after 30 YEARS!! 'Bout time! That being said, I LOVE the idea behind the Noir-themed house! This might be their first big chance to do a classic H.P. -Lovecraft-style attraction! THAT theme is well overdue as well! =)

Wicked Growth was a little bit of Scarecrow: The Reaping, a little bit of Scary Tales, a little Seeds of Extinction... but with a unique spin. It was SUCH a good house and my favourite this first week. There genuinely wasn't a bland house in the bunch (BJ could've used a little more though) and a little bit of something for everybody. Vignette/Best Of houses like SCarey and Icons, big story houses like Puppet Theatre and Wicked Growth, and some great IP this year -- Hill House had such a great atmosphere to begin with that it just translated into a great house, even if you've not watched/read it.

It was also a bit like The Harvest scare zone in the Central Park area back in 2018. I spotted quite a few of the props and costumes from that zone, especially the girl inside a huge pumpkin in the room where the Witch summons the Pumpkin Lord.

@@ExpeditionThemePark I hit all 10 houses last year for the 30th anniversary and holy crap everyone of them brought the heat. The Wicked Growth house was very awesome and you do smell the pumpkin in the house and it was amazing.

I think for the Springfield section they should do a Treehouse of Horrors theme for Halloween Horror Nights.

Everyone, except Beetlejuice, is trying to scare and creep you out meanwhile Jacks Haunted House starts with something that sounds like Dragula by Rob Zombie and everyone just starts dancing.

I have came back from the dead to say that universal should have adapted f&f supercharged into a house/maze, but it'll be too spooky for hhn.

The costuming, the masks incorporated into the costuming, and the actors are really on point this year- like, good job to everyone. The themes this year are really excellent. Visually everything is really impressive. HHN does it again! Nice footage, and overview.

From what I’ve heard, at least for icons captured, the actors were given blank white masks (except for the actors playing the usher who were given maroon masks that match his jacket) and allowed to customize them for their character, which helped blend them in a bit. Director with the blood splattered mask is genuinely creepier than without it

Seeing crypt TV was amazing as it literally was a KZread seres and I think it’s great they get noticed now

If Blumhouse ever does get around to making a Halloween Horror Nights movie, I hope they set it in Universal's fictionalized version of Carey, Ohio. HHN has built up a lot of original lore over the last 30 years that I think would make for a great movie.

I wanna go to HHN so bad. Since I can't, I live vicariously through you and other content creators that have covered it - thank you for making this. ♡

Just got finished with my second night so far. (I'm local so I go as much as possible) I absolutely LOVE these houses! Honestly none of them are bad! Some handle scares better, some tell a better story, and others are just so gorgeous and detailed I wish I had about 10 more eyes to see everything! I will say I wish that Jack and Chance had done another Carnival of Carnage stage show... but that Nightmare Fuel show with all the fire performers was absolutely mesmerizing! I sincerely hope you are able to cover the Tribute store and unravel the story behind the scattered notes. They seem to chronicle the release and relapse of a patient of Shadybrook Asylum, but I really don't think it's referencing Jack... please help us solve the mystery! See you in the fog!

During summer I was in the line for men in black and over the fence was the welcome to (s) Carey sign. Also there should be a dead by daylight zone, cod zombies house, bioshock house, and doom house.

I genuinely appreciate seeing the employees wearing masks with some even behind clear barriers. Just think of all the spit flying from visitors screaming/laughing in these enclosed spaces. I LOVE haunted houses and it was unfortunate to miss out last year. I'm happy this event is here this year and even happier to see that the actors health and safety are being considered - the mazes/props are the body, but the Haunters are the soul! ♥

I went mostly because my friend is in Nightmare Fuel as one of the fire performers (red hair) and I tell you what, the show was phenomenal! The houses were so detailed, I loved the sets! Unfortunately, I don't get scared easily so I can't really speak for how scary it is, but the sets are amazing regardless! I guess it's a curse from working at a haunt lol This was my first HHN and next year I will definitely be going again with an Express pass 😩 I was also laughing that the female clown has my name...and I'm a fire clown lol

Nightmare Fuel was amazing! Everyone did an amazing job, your friend blew me away.

It's nice to see these again, especially since I'm too much of a weenie to actually visit... I wish the website would put more in detail like they used to, it's just so bland now... Edit: Oh, you brought that up. Never mind.

I'm absolutely terrified to go, but this video really helped me get ready for this event. I can't wait!

HHN 30 was my dream since I was 16 years old in 2015. I found out about HHN, ironically, from KZread and got super active in the fan community. I decided that I’d do everything in my power to go to HHN 30 in hopes of seeing the icons, and holy shit did I get my wish in the best ways possible. This event was absolutely off the chain, I had never seen anything like it and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to see something like it again, the pure unbridled energy of having missed a year of HHN, plus it being an anniversary year, put everyone on their A-Game from actors to set designers to house ops. I am so lucky to have found the HHN community, I’ve met some of my best friends and some of the best people in the world thanks to it and I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world. I can’t wait to go back for 31, and I hope each and every one of you viewing this gets to be as lucky as I am to find something that makes you as happy as HHN makes me.

As always, thank you so much for posting these! I have really bad sensory overload so going to these kind of events is really hard for me. It's much easier to watch through a screen!

My first thought when I saw HHN has opened was "I hope Expedition Theme Park makes it". Love these videos every year!! :)

I am a horror fanatic. I would literally look at the website for this every year to see what the houses were, and fantasize about getting to go. I live in Pennsylvania, so about 21 hours from Orlando...meaning not easy to just go haha. Well I finally got to go to this one!!! It was definitely amazing, and I'm so glad I got to experience it.

My walk-through of the icons house had Lady Luck on the throne and I yelled up to her that she was gorgeous and she smiled at me lol

Tooth Fair was by far one of my most favorites! I saw it last year when they opened it and Bride of Frankenstein Lives and was so excited to go back through it this year!

Saw caretaker on my walkthrough. Definitely one of our favorite houses. So much to see and environmentally awesome. Icons and puppet were well thought out.

Really wish I lived close enough to Orlando to actually make it to this event! I love experiencing it through your videos! Outside of Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party as a kid, I have never been to a theme park Halloween Event...so this year, my boyfriend and I are celebrating our anniversary by going to Howl o Scream at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. We are so excited and have been watching your Halloween videos to prep! Thanks for inspiring our excitement and love of haunted theme parks and attractions!

"Welcome to Scary" was my 2nd favorite because I knew every character in the house. So nostalgic and awesome for any die hard hhn fan. Unfortunately if you didn't know any of that, which several of my friends didn't, it was like wth just happened? Lol. Wicked Growth was my #1.

I agree with the complaint. I’m so tried of getting wAved at angrily when I’m Literally walking on the feet of the people in front of me. And one time an attendant started walking at me like she was going to come drag my trough the house when I was practically the only person in the entire house because it was almost the end of the night.

I'm going to my first Halloween Horror Nights with my sister and a close friend of ours on October 9 & 10. It's the first one for all three of us, in fact. We're very excited!

Update: Got back from Orlando last night. We all had an amazing time! My favorite house was Icons: Captured without a doubt. We got the Jack ending on our walkthrough.

Did icons 3 times last night and the Usher won twice and Jack once. It's a great house.

This is the closest I'll ever get to a haunted house 🍼

this was my first HHN! i was a bit hesitant going but i have done scare acting before so i sort of knew the techniques used in the houses/scare areas. would definitely go back and do more houses next time. maybe work it one day.

Wicked Growth and the Legendary Truth offshoot were tied for my 1&2, with Icon being the only “Meh”,house this year. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is my favorite horror movie, but between seeing it here and in Hollywood so may times I think it deserves a break.

@@ExpeditionThemePark Halloween Horror Nights was amazing this year. Howl O Scream (Busch Gardens) was also fantastic. I actually personally enjoyed Busch Gardens more than Universal this year, which is rare for me, but something about Busch Gardens just seemed... right? The Scare-Actors definitely seemed like they were having more fun doing what they were doing. I loved that they took advantage of Ghillie Suits in the bushes. That was hilarious. And the way they used wooden and metal tools to scrape the ground and make sparks to scare people was great and creative. As for Howl O Scream (Sea World), it was a lackluster first attempt at a Howl O Scream branded event. I went, and it was cluster phobic and just nowhere near what I was hoping it would be. The fact that half the park was shut down was a disappointment, and the fact that you were trapped at the entrance for an hour while you waited for the park to open (rather than Busch Gardens alternative of being allowed to roam the park in the daylight for 2 hours), was very disappointing.

I figure to menchion this but the bed and nails from the hhn 15 commercial actually did appear that year in the "Where Evil Hides" house. It's also intresting to see her demon form that seem to be hinted at back during the sweet 16. Also nice to have Mary be apart of this house even if she herself isn't in there. The Legendary Truth house I felt to be a blessing since originally this was supposed to be the Billie Eilish house but due to the cancelation of the event last year it fell through and we got this house.
