The 3 Minutes “Ukulele Hack” to Teach Friends
This video is another quick tutorial with probably the best technique to build some confidence with your Ukulele. This is by far one of the best way to introduce your friends to Ukulele. I’ve done that many, many times.
And so that’s the idea, I noticed that I didn’t have a lot of videos which I could show to my students/friends to get them started with playing with their fingers on ukulele. Now it’s all good (I hope for the beginning)
This video was recorded very spontaneously while trying out this crafty 3rd person view.
Have fun with it !

Yes of course you do! Playing music is much easier than we think once we focus on simplicity and enjoyment, keep it up 👍
Bard.
Great tutorial. I wonder which app you use to display the fretboard graphic animation on screen that show your current playing notes ?

Hey! I do graphic design as a hobby since a while now and that’s what allows me to create custom animations design for ALL the on screen graphics you’ll see on my channel. There are currently no substitutes for that and I don’t think an “app” would allow so much control over this kind of animations anyway
Wonderful video. What is your workflow for creating the on-screen diagram? I see you made it yourself. It looks great for giving specific directions. Does it take long? Lastly, what camera are you using? Is it a GoPro on your head?

Hey there thanks! To answer your question, my workflow isn’t so simple. I don’t own a computer currently and I do everything on my iPad (animation & video editing). I’ve put a ridiculous amount of time working on making this process better/faster so that I can actually make more of these videos long term without going insane. Now it takes me about 1 hour of work per minute of animation (it took me 4/5hrs per minute when I started). And for the GoPro, I don’t have one, this was just my phone with a tripod wrapped around my shoulder, it’s a bit clumsy but… who cares, it worked great anyway!
Would also like to know what app this is to display fingerboard over video!

I answered to the original comment -> There are no such app, everything’s handmade. I see you also teach music, if you need something specific for your own students and think that I could help, let me know
The person 🗿 The place 🗿 btw, where is this place
