LMC truck, Amazon and eBay all have several sellers for the seat covers and cushion pads and I'm fairly certain they are all the same product

You can get an upgraded seat cushion and up/ down motor from Geno's. Your back will love you for it.

On that headliner, take some organza (you can buy it by the roll, about 6'' wide, around $3) and double it up and push the original fabric up behind the folded edge, then put your tacks.

Same problems on my 96. I think ill slap a rug on the dash from ebay. Im doing the headliner, it was not difficult to take down and get the old foam off. I got two yards of black velvet, im sticking it with liquid nails instead of the $24 3M spray. I like how you did the seat, I just threw down a thick chair cushion.

Question...why did you take the old foam off? Was it in good shape? I'm fixing to do my headliner on my 2001 dodge and the foam is still good on mine so I was just going to re-use the original foam and use spray adhesive to stick on the new headliner material...just want to know if I'm missing something!

@@DillonHering my foam on the headliner was nothing but dust. It took a liitle time to get it off but I think it did need fresh foam up there. My truck is old, its not really going to get A#1 treatment anymore.

I have one 1500 4x4 in great shape garage kept but I do love more my 70s d/w series. The three of them.

I really appreciate your how to on the seats and stereo.

I don't know if i had mentioned this but i had acquired off a seller on eBay the same stereo as what was in your truck it's actually from a 98 jeep Cherokee but it was fully serviced new belts and cleaned up inside,solder joints checked and flowed if it was needed,, and all the lights are LEDs are new and it was fully tested, but it was polished on the face of the stereo and it has a somewhat deep scratch on it so it was a $80 score everything works great

I've seen a few install kits with the pockets i never can find them but oh well looks good!!

I myself have a 2000 dodge ram laramie slt quad cab long bed but mine doesn't have most of the slt and power options, and it is a 1500 318 magnum V8 46 RH automatic overdrive transmission manual shift transfer case lever on the floor gloss black with most of the white pinstripe 4x4 gas truck.

I think you can use glue spray for the loose fabric on the ceiling. I will try that on mine and see what happens.

just a recommendation for the drivers door speaker , pull the panel , if there is a factory connector to the speaker , cut and splice to bypass connector. Had this same issue with mine not working took dash all out to find out it was a break in the factory connector!

Awesome, thanks for the info...I'll try that. When I replaced the A-pillar cover I learned it was just a bad tweeter, so that was an easy fix. Now I just have to fix the door speaker.

My truck has junkyard swapped doors and they are from the wrong style of second gen dodge trucks and a lower trim level truck so the previous owners had cut out the infinity amplifier filter and four connectors plug so i just put a set of 3 way 6x9's in the front doors really decent bass response and sound great but they have too deep of a magnet structure on the back so they need to be spaced out away from the door so that my power windows will go down more than halfway... But id suggest you go with kicker cs series 6x9's and 5.25 for the rear doors when you replace the speakers so you don't have to deal with the spacing issue i have to deal with, and i actually have a new set but open box of the cs series speakers for 5.25 size i originally got to put in the doors on a 94 dodge Dakota that would fit into the rear doors on the dodge ram.. but i really wanted to try the cerwin vega hed r series speakers so i had already purchased both sets of them in the sizes i needed for the dodge ram quad cab but i didn't know that the magnets were going to give me issues with rolling down my windows and the a pillar tweeters don't work from the junkyard swapped doors hack job unfortunately so that is why i went with the 3 way 6x9's

im enjoying this 2nd gen series, i just picked up a 98 12v, has been seriously neglected, got it for a steal though, slowly fixing things little by little, plan on manual swapping it like i do all my trucks i get that are auto lol.

I got a local upholstery shop to strip and apply a new headliner for $125. I had to trim to fit. Turned out great.

Lots of my wires were busted so just used stainless wire.

I tried swapping out my air vents into the dash skinz dash cluster bezel to find out three of my vents are broken and the one side is broken on the other...lol Mopar plastic ugh...

have a link to what brand you bought on ebay? That looks like it matches pretty damn well

How do you like the Goodyear duratrac at tires?!
