I really like the player cards idea. It's executed nicely, providing a good range of relevant player information.

I feel like they are deliberately designed to make everyone's skillset seem balanced, when in reality some players do severely outclass others. Especially these two finalists would be 10/10 in multiple categories.

beasty is the goat. as a personality and player. nothing against marinelord but i love beasty sooo much more as a guy. it's a pity demu can't hold up atm ...

Honestly if I played vs Beasty I would just ban HRE and China vs him. If you look at his winrates on those 2 civs historically, they are by far his 2 best civs

That’s the problem. He’s good with everything. But agree, he’s particularly good with eco civs.

Beasty is such a polished personality. He's really thoughtful on all aspects of the game, and has a real skill when it comes to getting thoughts out.

Those are units spawned from the Rus landmark the Kremlin. They only live for a certain amount of time before they die

I believe they are temporary units from a Rus landmark, so they expired and died

Yes it was kremlins from the kremlin landmark. I think they spawn for 60 sec

Why does Beasty drop a dock even though there isn't deep sea fish? Why not a mill?

think of a dock like a tc. the more you have, the quicker your eco grows. you could use a mill, but then you have to use villagers whereas if you used fishing boats, you've freed up villagers to gather other resources. a dock works as a drop off for villagers as well if you decide to shoreline fish with villagers.

Basty has the whole video with matches analyse. He explained why he fucked up each of three matches and actually said that he was embarassed with some of the decisions made in first two. But short answer he just misjudged what Vortix plan will be for the match and did the wrong counter-strategy.
