The 23 Food Regions of the World

The data from the Country Food Similarity Index was used to cluster countries into different regions based on their diets. This resulted in 7 loosely defined regions and 23 distinct sub-regions.

    what soet of clustering did you use? Also I'm familiar with your work due to your website, but I fear that the A.I voice & short length might lead people to falsely assume that this is a spam account! You guys should use real voices, and go a little deeper into the video for more traction imo

    thanks, yes going into the actual ingredients of each region might have been more informative, but you can find a breakdown of each region on the website. the two clusterings used were average linkage and ward's method

    I feel like you would do a good job at making a map of the cultures of the US (New England, Cascadia, Deep South...) Do you think you can do that someday?

    Pakistan and Northern India literally eat the same food. How are they not grouped together? This makes no sense.
