We followed the De Smet Spartans Hockey team all season long all the way to the Missouri hockey state finals - The Challenge Cup. The Spartans face-off against crosstown Jesuit rival St. Louis University High School (SLUH) in a rematch of the '22 Midstates Playoffs Championship at the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, MO.
The Spartans seek redemption and look to end a 13 year long Championship drought while the Jr. Billikens look to go back to back against their Jesuit rival.
The Spartans and Jr. Billikens previously played 3 games this season against each other with the Spartans taking all three games including the Jesuit Cup, a Jesuit bragging rights tradition. You can watch that episode here:
