They models since 2020 have been very reliable. Kia is the 3rd most reliable brand according to both JD Power and Consumer Reports.

At least in my family's experience, with proper maintenance, none of us have had any reliability issues. I currently have a Forte GT, and it's never had any problems. My parents' Sportage also works without issue.

The refresh looks better than the outgoing model 99.99% of the time

There are definitely some refresh misses. Especially when you look back years later after it's clear what was a fad vs. what was actually a good design.

Love the look and design, however I do wish the top performance trim had an AWD option. Feels safer during all 4 seasons.

I have a 2023 Tucson Limited with HTRAC AWD that I drive in winter…

This car is gorgeous. Love my 2023 GT

I will always love my Honda Accord, however, after the 2018-2023 models, Honda is falling behind in terms of interior tech, power, and exterior looks. Kia and Hyundai is coming a long way and it’s definitely looking good!

@@wazgoodjj compare it to other competitors? Like I said, I love my 2018 Accord Sport. Toyota and Kia are offering way more bang for your bucks. Just my opinion. I can list all the great things they have to offer compare to the current Accord line up. The only thing Honda really got going for them is the Pilot and CTR.

Just an FYI, that 2.5T engine isn't just GDI. It's dual-injected - it has port injectors in addition to the gdi, in order to keep the valves clean.

Damn, that's a handsome design inside out.

Why? Just because it looks better? This company has had a negative track record since the beginning. How many older ones do you see? Trashy people drive these. They have awful resale values. Have tons of issues that people like to make excuses for. Engines catching fire, engines failing, easy to steal… you get what you pay for. Who cares about the looks if it’s gonna cause you a headache. People who go hard for Kia and Hyundai work at Walmarts and burger kings and are low life’s with no goals. Smart people who have a decent credit score buy used Toyotas and Hondas used over a new Kia. Kia’s just copy designs from other past designs from other brands. “But the newer models are much better now” Which means that they were shit before. Why would you want a car with a shotty reputation. All brands have their issues but this one’s reputation isn’t worth the risk.

I'm liking the changes Kia made! Theyre very subtle but nice. I like how they give you an oversized cupholder in the front for a large waterbottle and FINALLY wireless CarPlay. I don't like the shift lever tho, I'm hoping they change the style of that.

The best sedan on US car market both exterior and interior styling. Price is also the best among rivals. Reliability is suffient and above the average. Good work KIA.

Have a 21 model and surprisingly, I love it. The new look is gorgeous. Only things I'm hoping they fixed with the 25 models is I'm hoping the new headlights do a better job lighting. The headlights on my 21 admittedly suck and barely lights anything making it sketchy driving in darker areas at night. My second thing I'm hoping is I'm hoping they got rid of those fake exaust on the GT Lines for functional ones especially since they're actually giving those higher trims the 2.5L engines which is how it should have always been.

Expecting every other Kia Sedan to be named K something now.

I do like my 24 exhaust tips better along with the tail lights but other than that I'm ready to trade in!!!

Looks way better than face lift 2025 camry and face lift accord. Not to mention camry ditching V6 and won't give you 290 hp nor is accord. K5 gt and Sonata Nline are the only two who gives you more power. Beautiful car K5

There are rumors of a GR Camry as well as spy shots so there's a chance. The Camry refresh isn't bad overall but I definitely prefer this new K5 or Sonata

Upgrades are perfect. Didn’t mess it with too much to F it up. Only complaints are lack of AWD on the GT which is a huge miss. Also that chrome detailing line from the roof to the trunk I still despise, and that shifter is gargantuan.

The front looks like the EV6 GT-line. I could do without the bottom piece of the DRLs. Needs to be a lift back to get more people interested in it.

I just wish the accents were red or better yet all black. I don’t need flashy stitching. I also don’t understand why it doesn’t get a heads up display for the top trim. Canadas k5’s have it so I don’t see the issue.

Own a 2021 Kia k5 not a fan of the new exterior design lights nor the acid green. Wonder if they would bring more interior colors..

Love the new front, but i preferred the original back

The rear legroom is smaller due to the front seats larger than normal max legroom. The front is like 45 inches compared to most cars 42 inches.

Does the front wheel drive for the GT have a slip diff? Also wish they kept the round quad exhausts. Hated the previous dash tail lights. These new ones look better.

I love the K5s, just one recently. While I do think the 2025 still look great, I think the headlight/daytime lamps looked better on the 2021-2024 year models. Have the amber lamps go above the headlights rather than under them as they did previously makes them look more like the 2024 Corollas. Again, it still looks great! I just think the 2021-2024 ones looked a bit more unique. I may like these tail lights more though.

Really would like awd on this higher trim. Maybe a GT2 later with awd and 320hp!?

Thats crazy you said the k5 is smaller than the camry. Me and my friends were able to go in a comfortable ride, long trips in my optima compared to my friends camry and we were so cramped in his car

I have a 2023 k5 gt line love it was tempeted to get the gt but i was buying for a daily not a red light rocket😂 the seats and front feel premium my only cons are the base speakers in the gt line theres no option for Premium my wife has a telliride with premium sound so maybe im just being nit picky but seriously thats my only complaint

6:10 you must've meant "the other downgrade". Not sure why anyone would want to have to toggle between HVAC and music/volume controls.

I love the design and features. If kia is as reliable as a Toyota or Honda I wouldn’t this twice on getting this K5. 😊

Yes they do have AWD as stated in this video. Just no AWD on the GT version same as Hyundai Sonata N Line

It is very sharp. I like the design far more than Toyota, Honda, or Hyundai (even though the front of the sonata is also great). Too bad it doesn’t have AWD and a no slip for the GT, unless I heard wrong.

If they did not put a limited slip differential in the GT for 2025, that will literally completely rule it out for me. Now that the stinger has been discontinued, there is absolutely no excuse for not putting an LSD in this car. They all show should make AWD available for this car because I'm sure it would sell a lot better if it had it

Looks better than the pre refresh but I think the Hyundai Sonata N Line looks even better.

I also think this is a better looking car compare to the Sonata. Sadly this is not available in Australia.

I agree it definitely needs to have AWD for the top of the line GT. People want the power and the AWD in the Midwest and Northeast. Especially with the Stinger no longer being available.
