The last time i saw a labour landslide things improved massively for britain, and improved relations between Ireland and Britain significantly. Im hoping the same happens again.

I strongly object to Liz Truss as Magnus the Red. Magnus is a tragic and somewhat sympathetic character that wanted to do good. Liz Truss is a complete tool. I would suggest that Liz Truss is actually Herman von Strab, the Overlord of Amageddon during the Second War for Amageddon. Like Herman, she was massively and obviously underqualified for the job and her decisions brought ruin and destruction to the people she was supposed to oversee.

I think Scandinavia as a whole is an exception. Most politicians are decent, even the right-wing racist ones aren't that bad compared to Farage, Orban or Trump.

The fun thing is warhammer was born as punk satire of the authoritarian Tatcher's regime back in the 80s. Today a lot of extreme rightwingers elected 40K as their ideal fictional universe without an hint of self awareness...

Sunak couldn't have held on a few more years. As neither him nor Truss were brought in through general election (they both just replaced someone who resigned), the end of the 5 year parliament is 5 years from when Boris got in in 2019, so Sunak had til the end of the year at best. Agree that he probably knew he was screwed and wanted to get out before the new school year though 😂 what a bellend.

Being able to run at all is the statement, standing next to the incumbent PM on the election stage as an equal while wearing a bin costume is the point. It's to prove that anyone from anywhere can compete for the same position and that keeping that is important. Rishi did keep his seat sadly, but Binface's teensy tiny voteshare (which he doesn't even want!) did not affect that.

he did use gloss, he used a huge paint brush to generalize a group of people, especially when his bias toward labor who were massively racist and anti semtic is the most contradicting idiotic thing. well, wouldn't expect less.
