The 2024 NBA Draft is Wide Open

Спорт

In today's video, I take my first look at the upcoming 2024 NBA Draft. Seen as one of the weakest classes in recent memory, this year's draft doesn't have the typical excitement surrounding it as previous ones have had, but as always, there will be at least one player that makes this class worth monitoring. Featured in this video are guys like Alex Sarr, Zaccharie Risacher, Nikola Topic, Matas Buzelis, Ron Holland, Rob Dillingham, Reed Sheppard, Donovan Clingan, and Stephon Castle; all of whom have a real chance to be the face of the 2024 NBA Draft.

I'm pretty convinced that if Rob Dillingham gets to the right spot, preferably the Spurs, he's going to blow up and be the star of this draft. Wemby would cover his weak defensive. All he needs to do is run the point and score.

Agreed. Funny that you mentioned San Antonio because that's exactly the fit I had in mind during the video hahaha.

Sarr is a consensus #1 to me. 7”1, mobile af, can immediately be a team’s top 3 defender. Offensive mechanics are there, not top notch but it’ll come around eventually. Has also played in a legit pro league.

Sarr has crazy potential and he's a great athlete already at 18. He's only playing 17 minutes a game though, so its hard to know what you're getting. He seems very tentative but well skilled on offence. He has no shooting range but he's already very good on defence.

If The Spurs get that dude, it's OVER for the league. Hopefully The Blazers can move up and get him to pair with Ayton. Holland would be a nice prospect to add, too.

@@VocalChainsStudiohe's like Wemby, very polyvalent.. I hope saying them together . Risacher is polyvalent too. He has exceptionnals qualities but his mental and concentration are not always good.. But his professionnal esperience is an other avantage. Topic is exceptionnal, and could be the perfect complementary team player for Wemby..

This is the ultimate role player draft class, which isn't necessarily a negative. Similar to the 2013 draft class, excluding Giannis.

Castel could be a good choice for the Spurs too.. If they have the 4th choice, no chance they can have Sarr or Risacher for me. They'll be 1 and 2 . Perrhaps Topic, why not. What a disaster ! ( I know, I may bit to much, but I'm French) 😢 Perrhaps Salaün too. 😂

This to me is the weirdest draft since 2013, I think someone around the 10-15 range will become a star, and then a late first round pick , and possibly a second round pick, I also think things could be based on which team gets the first pick, would the Pistons take Sarr ? We could have a surprise go number 1 maybe Stephon Castle, this draft is definitely wide open. I feel like Topic to the Spurs would be a San Antonio like pick, and he would fill a need and make Wemby's life easier with his passing skills.
