The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Limited Hybrid is more than just a minivan!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In the ever-evolving landscape of the U.S. automotive market, one might assume that crossovers and sedans reign supreme. However, a closer look reveals that minivans, especially luxury minivans, still play a significant role in meeting the diverse needs of American families. With the 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Limited Hybrid leading the charge, we're witnessing a resurgence in the popularity of these versatile vehicles. Here are the top contenders vying for your hard-earned dollar in the luxury minivan market.
For the first time in quite a while, American consumers are crossing the traditional boundaries between minivans and crossovers. The reason behind this shift is the growing popularity of luxury minivans. Unlike the minivans of the past, modern luxury minivans offer a superior level of comfort, style, and performance. The 2024 Chrysler Pacifica Limited Hybrid stands at the forefront of this resurgence, currently leading the pack in overall minivan sales in the United States. Luxury minivan manufacturers are taking it a step further by introducing more fuel-efficient hybrid variants. Chrysler's Pacifica Limited, for example, comes as a plug-in hybrid and boasts an impressive all-electric driving range of up to 32 miles.
2024 Chrysler Pacifica Limited Hybrid: The reigning champion in the luxury minivan segment, the Pacifica offers a blend of style, comfort, and eco-friendliness. With its plug-in hybrid technology and a starting price just over $38,000, it's a compelling choice for families seeking both efficiency and sophistication.

There are 8 cup holders (one in each door at bottom, in the rear by back seats on upper wall, and in the center console) and there is so much versatility with this minivan. I love mine! I shopped a long time and could not be happier with my choice to own a Pacifica. My household had 2 and when I look at adding a vehicle I will definitely look at another Pacifica, and I plan on keeping what I have I love it so much! Smooth ride, nice plush comfy seats, lots of leg and trunk room, and it takes hardly any effort to move seats into floors and out again to make a passenger van a cargo van then back again ready for people. I use mine to tow trailers, haul kids, do big box store large shopping hauls, and for when people need to use it to move their furniture. My 4 or 5 kids, myself, and 2 dogs (including a large dog and an xl great dane, and our luggage have taken long but comfortable road trips in the Pacifica. I have owned luxury cars, SUV's, and crossovers and this is my favorite vehicle! I also love that it is very safe because of the awards it has repeatedly gotten for safety.

You have 2 cupholders near the footwell under the center console for the second row seats - You need to pull it out from under the center console on the back side. Most minivans dont have cupholders on the doors themselves due to the sliding door mechanism!

100%, he totally missed those cup holders. But I agree that it would be nicer to have some higher

There are more cup holders for the second row than you realize. At the bottom of the center console, there is a pullout storage drawer with two cup holders at the front of it.

Yes there are 2 cupholders in the pullout drawer in the center console. I have a 23 Pacifica PHEV and love the handling, and speed and not seeing a gas pump in 43 + days. I have over 7000 miles on it and over 5k are electric. Biggest disappointment - After I completed the purchase I noted there was no DVD player on mine so this entertainment system wants me to set up an account with AT&T to stream movies. Bad move - they sold out to AT&T. I bought a portable DVD player to defeat their evil scheme. My 2020 gas Pacifica had the DVD player and that was wonderful, The trade off for hybrid is the 2nd row seats must be removed instead of folde into the floor. I was aware of that upon purchase and so far - 9 months - never needed to remove them. It is a fun vehicle to drive & the quietness of the electric motors spoils you. I have '23 version of another brand of SUV and now the normal engine sounds of that new vehicle annoys me. I have owned minivans since 84 when I got a Dodge Mini Ram Van and customized it and never ever needed or wanted a pickup truck. Utility beats style always IMHO and the new Pacificas have both.

I am on the verge of buying a new car. My last one was a Ford Flex which I drove for 255,000 miles. I'm 59 and am thinking I should downsize to a smaller car (e.g. Corolla). I've seen a few of the Chrysler Pacificas on the road and they look good. After watching your video I am rethinking my decision. Great video !!

This doesn’t look like a 2024 model! Can you confirm what year it is?? Looks more like a 23.

Great marks for functionality, but drive train smarts are lacking in this review. People aren't just concerned about range. The savings come from efficiency and the Attkinson cycle drive train. To capture better with your reviews, understand many aren't coming from Tahoes, but are familiar with plug-ins these days. Yes, some want less range anxiety as America's charging infrastructure gets built out. Many more people these days speak watts, want to know about the faster ~6KW on board charger or how many KWh is the battery? It isn't a "fast charger" that supports this car, either. That's "DC" language (100KW). Just a faster A/C charger, at ~6KW instead of half as fast, 3KW. Electric only range and Pacifica's lack of modes are good to know, but "Mild hybrid" isn't in this car as that's 48v tech that never got off the ground. Otherwise, a nice, practical review. I would look forward to this PHEV's faster plug-in home charging because, as you said, you can plug-in mid-day and, more or less, "fill up" that ~32mi of range in a couple hours.

I have the Pacifica and I can confidently say after long cross country trips with kids it is a very comfortable ride in the seats for all. They are very plush and cushy so you do not feel sore or tired like you would think.
