First domestic review of the 992 GT3 RS that I’ve seen so far - congrats!

This is the 911 to have! I really wish we got to see John Davis behind the wheel of some of these vehicles though.

*if you're going to the track. The GT3RS is not exactly practical for daily driving. Certainly not one my wife would choose to go to dinner in. For the street, I'd probably take a Turbo S or even a GTS. The extra money could go to a dedicated track weapon.

@@PKmode this definitely wouldn't be my DD, but as far as 911s go this is as pure and dedicated as they get. Turbo S or GTS as a DD 911 like you said would be great!

I doubt anyone who is able to own this would use it for their DD....heck, they might already have several Porsches collecting dust in their garage

Off all the companies out there, Porshe knows how to make a race track variant look incredibly focused but yet it has a tasteful demeanor that doesn't seem too over stylized.

All true. Mr. John Davis is Motorweek personified.

I love MotorWeek and have for 40 years. A couple things I'd like to see is the lap and slalom times as compared to other cars in this segment. This car is track ready but I don't know how it might fare against other similar cars. 0-60 and quarter mile doesn't mean that much to me without context.

Presenter is such a legend.

At full jolt on shifts with PDK you get little bucks on next gear... ;-( I'd prefer a 6spd Manual for FTD on Street too and Track.

“Accessible” is a funny word at almost 50% more than I paid for my house. I guess it has accessible performance for a millionaire.

Had me sold until I saw the sticker price. 😂

Beutiful beast my favorite car supersport car

Stating that is risky. Its more likely to create more windows than heroes. Engineering driver aids to make one a better driver is a recipe for making average drivers greatly exceed their abilities.

I'm not sure if I care for the looks of this newest RS model. Even though it's a purpose built car, it just looks WAAAAY too busy for my taste.

I give it a month or two before I lose my license owning this rocket ship. It would be difficult to drive this at legal street speeds.

Is this Porsche street legal or is there a street-legal version of that car?

Yes, this is street legal.

What track car? Some think this should be a Car and Coffee show car and park in garage. Never mind the crazy amount of aero purposeful for track. Many may never even see the the track which would be a huge disservice to Porsche engineers since the posers that can’t even track the car will own it and no surprise their first Porsche 🤨 Porsche if you are listening, make enough cars so drivers that will track this car can own one and drive it the way it was meant to be driven. The car is a masterpiece

The one thing Porsche does better than any other Sportscar manufacturer is buildind a Porsche. So simple...😂😂🤦
