Awesome! How about a Triumph Scrambler 1200, can you ride one? :)
I was shopping and test riding bikes for a few months late this year. After I rode a used 21 then new 22 heritage I ended up buying a new one vivid black/chrome with factory V&H slip ons. I enjoyed it soooo much more then all the naked and ADV bikes I was considering. It was that smooth comfortable nimble ride. I was like OMG, this is it, just a few blocks down the road. Cruiser life bit hard after those test rides.
My first bike is a ‘19 Deluxe. I kid around and call her my mistress the wife knows about. I am absolutely in love with both of them! You are so right about the cruise control. I had to wait almost two years for the kit to finally become available. Rode to Zion without it and after about 6 hours of being on the throttle, my hand locked up like a crab claw. Now, I can’t wait to go on long distance trips. Such a quality of life improvement! Back to the Deluxe, what I like over the Heritage (I bought it with 400 miles on it) is that it came with full LED lights stock, had the saddlebags from the previous owner, and also had the Sundowner seat. Great review! Thank you!
Just a note about the front engine (crash) bar, the standard bar has soft lowers available, they are great for wet or cold weather. Something that should be considered when making a purchase.
My dad has had a Heritage Classic since the mid 2000’s and he loves it. It’s a stunning bike, too, he’s taken home an award or two in Sturgis on that bike. Comfortable, classy looks, reasonable around town and on the highway, what’s not to like?
I have had so much fun through you with this series. Thank you!!
Just bought the crimson 2022 Heritage a couple of weeks ago. I traded in my 2017 Street Glide Special and I swear the Heritage is more comfortable.
been riding a 17 ultra limited for 4 years straight; Harley definitely knows how to build comfort and handling.
10:40 I added a louder exhaust after riding with stock exhaust a few years. Not obnoxiously loud, but more noticeable when revving. It's quieter and more like the stock exhaust sound level when cruising. Anyway, I see drivers acknowledge me more often, I less often see drivers lane changing too close in front of me. And there's nothing wrong with that. I observed when driving, more space sometimes given to other riders with audible exhaust. I found myself looking around for the motorcycle when I heard one. That's the main reason why I added a more audible exhaust to my bike. No regrets, no reason not to do something that maybe adds a little to my safety. Also, less restricted airflow intake and exhaust from the engine with an electronic fuel control module for proper adjustment gives a little more engine performance without compromising fuel economy. I have an engine that is an older design from the years before airflow restricting was added. On the bike you're riding in this video, helping the engine performance isn't a factor. To say you wouldn't benefit from some drivers hearing you before seeing you on the road though, is not something I'd agree with.

Thanks for the review. I bought my first(and only so far) Harley in 2019, a 07 FLSTC. I have said many times since, that it is the only thing I have purchased in my life that exceeded my expectations. It was the dream come true that started when my uncle took me at 6yrs old, for a ride on his brand new 1965 Electra Glide Police motorcycle. Thanks for All you do!
Definitely take this bike to the twisties. You will be absolutely surprised.
I own a 2009 Victory Kinpin 8-Ball. This bike really reminds me of mine. I recently took the MSF BRC and the head instructor recommended your videos to watch along with just a couple of other KZread channels.

Just revived a 2002 Harley Fatboy. Intimidating for first bike but getting used to it and absolutely love it
I used to own a 100 year anniversary edition, my first Harley and love it and miss at the same time...thanks for sharing
Thanks for this video, the Heritage has always been one of my favorites. I think the seating position would have been better than the Lowrider I used to own.
I have a '97 Heritage. What I like is the versatility, put all the stuff on and load up for the long road or strip 'em down for running around, they always look good, ...and a low center of gravity. Mucho fun.
Thanks for this review. I own a 2021 Heritage and love it. It's Teal Blue. I added white walls at purchase. I just like the look of the WW and get lots of compliments. I did a Stage 1 myself and changed the seat to a Saddlemen with a back rest and luggage rack. I also added front fork wind deflectors because at highway speeds the wind hit me right in the chest from below like you mentioned and found that to be irritating too. I'm about the same size as you and use the bike primarily for cruising on long road trips.
I know your a adventure touring and sport bike kind of guy, but I appreciate the way you described the Heritage. Thanks for your honest review, and keep them coming. Godspeed and God bless😎🤠🙏
Finally! You've reviewed my bike! Thanks homie. I've ridden alot of bikes and this one is my favorite. IMO it's the best handling and most comfortable bike out there.
I just purchased a 2022 Heritage 114, Reef Blue/Vivid Black in chrome but with black cast wheels instead of spoked wheels, end of September. Love mine. I have wanted a Heritage since they released the new softail frames in 2018 but the bikes then were only offered with spoked wheels. Four years later 2022 I found out Harley offered the Heritage with both spoked and cast wheels. I finally had to buy. Always have my aux lights on. Now need to add some extra lights to the rear.
Semper Fi and thanks for a great video brother...I was out of riding for 20yrs, but once again got that huge itch for another bike ( Harley in particular ).....so went out and did a few weeks of shopping and ended up with the exact bike you're on here. I kept flip flipping between this and the RK, but being 90% of my travels are within 100 miles of the house, I couldn't j6stify the extra 100 lbs, plus the maneuverability of this Heritage is just unbelievable...Anyhow, have already invested a couple extra thousand on pipes, seat for old gut with bad back, and various other items, and wouldn't change a thing, and believe I made the best choice for me with the Heritage...Thanx again for a great video, and yep, practice, classes, practice, classes.....Oorah ! 😊
I have a 2021 Road King Special. I've been waiting for you to try one and get your opinion. I love your videos and plan to buy your book and start practicing some of your drills.
I guess your man Rob isn't planning on crashing. Good comprehensive review. That black bike with the black wheels looks great.
The heritage with cruise control. Install a rider backrest. And hwy pegs. Can’t beat the comfort
I do like black bikes but you are right the blue is sicker. I also love that dealership that thing is huge, maybe on one of these days you will give us a mini tour of the place I don't think that I have ever seen a dealership that big where I leave.
I bought a 2022 crimson and chrome Heritage a few months ago and I love it.
Can’t go wrong with the Heritage !
Thank you for good and useful videos. I would like ask about the heat management in the bike. Do you felt any heat?
I have a 2021 with the 107. My sentiments and review is a ditto. Road Hondas mostly. This s great handling, lighter bike. Great for my age 66.
USB port is on the left side of the neck, love my Heritage, great review, thanks 👍🏻
Thinking of trading my PAS in for one of these. Love the ride, especially on a long ride.
Love the videos, watch a lot of them. I would like to ask if you can show part of the video with YOU on the bike, from the front, from the side, from the back.
your integrity doesn't need a nanny, but it is what it is. love the bic, love your blog
I hear what you're saying, but loud pipes do help you be seen. Not 100%, but in my 26 years of riding in the Northeast it helps.
Wow! you were a true human being for 11 years ! I didn't know that. Ex Coelis for myself :) You mentioned spoke wheels but, nothing about if they are sealed( tubeless tires) and how is the vibrations on your hands?? How long on the highway before before/if your hands go numb? Suspension.....how is it...on bumps and such? Does it run on regular or high test? I have many more questions but, I'll leave it with them. Thanks for the vid. Be well !
I really love cruise control! I set it at 60 MPH (1 Mile per minute) and relax. 😉
Heritage is one of my favorites, comfortable, powerful, and looks good, you mentioned cruise control like a 100 times, yes its a good feature, also blue is my favorite color so we agree on that.
Finally, I've been waiting for your opinion on the Heritage. 🤩
Just for giggles, I'd love to see you play around on some custom machines. Say a chopper. Crazy steering them around!
My 1st Harley was a 2006 Heritage Classis with Vance & Hines Big Shots, today at 63 I own a 2020 Road Glide Special with to much customization to list.
Best looking Harley off the floor. Probably the bike I’ve ridden most. I’ve never owned one and never will as I’m not a fan of about anything other than the looks, but I do love how Harley has a million aftermarket parts to customize. If I wanted a bar bike only this it’d be it.

That’s cool, but you do know that Harley Davidsons are very popular with Iron Butt long distance riders, so it’s more than a bar hopper. I have ridden mine from Key West, Fl to Anchorage, AK . No trailering and never stopped at bars. For fun I ride my 2021 MT-09.

@@heep34987yt I know just not a fan of the ride. Especially 80+ mph turnpike miles.
I didn't know you were in the Marines. Ohhrahh!! Semper Fi! USMC 1998-2002 for me.
very good points , nice bike in that blue two tone ;;
Getting seen is safer than being heard. This Heritage with all those lights is the way to go. Plus you said you LIKE this bike over and over. Go buy it😉
Not a fan of HD But damn this looks fantastic Never thought i'd lust after a cruiser, but this i would own if i could afford it, im basically 100% sure i'd love it lol.
Thinking of getting a new one of these but I got an 2009. Still an awesome bike. But I sure do love my 2007 Road King though.
They should call it the Road Prince its a miniature Road King.
After my trip to USA and doing Route 66 and Pacific Highway, I returned to Ireland and bought a 21 Black Heritage Classic. Love her. However, after a few punctures to the rear spoked tubed wheel , I've converted the rear to tubeless ..so far so good but I'm considering swapping rims for proper tubeless spoke wheel. .Also looking out for the best fork deflectors

As a Heritage Softail Classic owner,I can honestly say that I won’t be adding anything else to my fleet but another Heritage, these bikes are simply amazing, although my bike is older,’03,100 year edition,it sounds amazing and looks amazing, just a great line of bikes
I have this bike in this reef blue and black but blacked out, with spokes. Im about to put on engine guards and highway pegs and rack up some miles
There's not a day that goes by that I don't miss my 2017 Heritage Classic. It only had the 103, but still it was a very nice bike! Never should have sold it!
Greg, if you were to buy any HD, which model would it be?
Love the FLHCS. Just test rode the 2024 green/chrome. Loved the cruise and the torque. I could see myself owning that bike as well. Wish I would’ve been able to get the 2022 same color as you’re riding.

Hey dude you forgot the clock in there too it's got a clock that it tells you when you're running lights around and hiding low beam the EBS you don't like good stuff
Just sold my 2008 heritage 105th anniversary edition AKA the copper top. Absolutely love the bike but in a sharpcurve the 4 boards not with scrape but would lift the back wheel. Talk about how to change your shorts when your back wheels come off the ground In a curve. I'm not talking scraping I did that all the time. Was the only reason I sold that bike. If I could afford to have 2 I would have kept my road glide and my heritage. Nick in Arizona
You should really try the indian spring field or Indian springfield dark horse That is Indian version of that Same of a bike you wrote today for Harley I have one Of those and love it
Would be great to find a HD review by someone tall. At 6'4 I can't find any model that fits me, my Sport Glide being the only one that just about works.
dude! Jerry Palladino - I watch his shit all the time.
This is the bike I just bought yesterday! I got the black on black version, have to say I really love it!

That is a nice bike too, but I preferred the Heritage Classic. I went with the black on black. To each their own I suppose.🙃
Can you do a review on the Harley Fatboy please?
Lovely bike. *meanwhile, my brain* "You don't need a third bike, you don't need a third bike!"
Dude was really trying to cope with that exhaust narrative lol. Gorgeous bike though and a good review.
Can you review 2023 zx6r please
Heritage Classic's are awesome, they are meant to have that Classic Harley appeal and they sure do :)
Nice protection the guy in front… license plate, optional? But nice bike and good video…
I love the heritage but I hate the 114 motor and the lack of brakes. The 114 runs great on the test ride and after you buy one and get it out and up to operating temp on a warm day they fall flat on their face. I'll buy another heritage when they put a liquid cooled motor and decent brakes on them.
I have a 22 heritage, rides soft, with new frame , she handles unbelievable for that size bike, a good lean angle and quick as hell! By the way, seat sucks like all HD seats.
Beautiful bike 👍
This is the bike Harley Davidson should release the new Revolution Max engine platform in.
I agree with you on pipes. Loud pipes saves lives, what a stupid statement. Stay safe
Note to Heritage Classic owners: Your dealer can flash the ECU to keep the passing lights on with the high beam on. That way all 3 lights are on all the time.
Nice bike but I would replace those bags with after market bags
If you think the Heritage is nice try a Road Glide.
I love my heritage it don't run hot even in 35° heat and traffic.

The Heritage is one of favorite Harleys as far as styling. However, it's not a good touring platform if you're 200+ pounds.

@@donaldduck2405 Well yeah, you can tour on a Honda Rebel 500, but it doesn’t mean you would want to do it. The touring framed Harleys begin with the Road King and they do a much better job of absorbing the pounding of the road if you’re a bigger guy.

@Gabby Hayes it rides smoothly even with two up riding to Las Vegas. My FLHCS is 1,868cc. Those trips were ridden in high temperatures, cold weather, windy weather, rain, thunderstorms, fog, nighttime, and daytime, and it's very nimble. On the way to Las Vegas, my passenger fell asleep. My trips were nonstop except for snacks, fluids, gasoline, or a meal. This isn't like the others 2017 down. This is my first Harley-Davidson. I haven't been on those other Harley's, but I can tell you about mine. RLTW

This bike vs The Springfield Indian?
It's a Harley you dont gotta get on the rear brake hard to test for ABS lol.
So you like HD brakes now?!
How about a Fat Boy review?
Sold I want one
I like the bike overall but I think the soft leather bags is not my type.
I have a heritage classic motorcycle
I love this channel and am fine with these new first-impression review segments, so please don't take this the wrong way: Why does Greg not address or at least mention that the dealership lead rider in this video is not wearing any gear? In other posts Greg will get on someone's case for not wearing gloves or having flimsy footwear, and his training posts over the years were always hammering on the importance of all-the-gear-all-the-time, but here when he's exchanging favors with dealers by promoting them, he has nothing, NOTHING, to say about a guy in a t-shirt and skate shoes taking a bike on the freeway. SMH.
Wish I had the money!

The saddlebags are not water proof, The water would fill the saddlebags locks, That is what stops me from purchasing that model. Bike only for sunny weather.
No traction control, no rider modes, no hill assist, no navigation, no radio and $22,000 plus , plus! Not worth it. Pay another $3K and get the RK or RG with the RDRS.

Do you mean SG or RG? AFAIK the Road King does not come with navigation or radio
Gorgeous. HD could make a fortune building more of these and less of the ugly black and gray garbage. Dealers can't even get a pic of these things on their website before they're sold. Meanwhile, all the "sinister" black crap collects dust on showroom floors.
@10:27 ....yes. *Just make you crash louder* Ride like you're invisible.
Ouch, all that chrome in your field of view, shooting laser beams into your eyeballs from the bright SoCal sun.
Like to see whitewalls on it
Torque at the rear wheel is provided by your gear. Don't believe me? Take off in sixth gear and tell me how torquey the bike is. The numbers dynos are feeding you is an approximation of the torque at the engine's crank, based on the power delivered to the rear wheel. Your crank doesn't touch the ground. Despite the common misperception, torque is not something that happens at low rpms that magically becomes horsepowers at high rpms. Your fuel burns and converts energy to heat. The rate that occurs is power. Horsepower is a unit of power, but there are many others like watts & PS. HD engines simply make more power at lower rpms than other motorcycles. In rotational machines, power ~ tq * rpm. IOW, torque is a component of power in these machines. At the rear wheel, the power delivered is proportional to torque(at the rear wheel) * rpm(of the rear wheel). In first gear, your rear wheel torque is high (you can pull a hill with a fat girl on back) and your rear wheel rpm is small (you go slow). In sixth gear, your rear wheel torque is low (you can't even pull away from a stop sign), but your rear wheel rpm can spin fast enough to take you into triple digits. Engine power is not the peak value given near red line that everyone gets giddy over. Your engine produces power from idle to redline. It is the same in that rev range regardless of what gear your in.
You'll just crash louder...thas funny😂
not enough chrome for my liking
How does someone rides multiple bikes built on the same platform with the same motor/cam/etc and act like it is a totally different bike.
LOUD PIPES ALERT OTHER DRIVERS AROUND YOU THAT YOU ARE THERE, OR CLOSE...I PERSONALLY HAVE SLOWED DOWN, AND LOOKED AROUND ME IN MY SUV UPON HEARING A LOUD BIKE APPROACHING...SO IT'S IDIOTIC TO THINK THAT LOUD PIPES DON'T INCREASE YOUR SAFETY AS A RIDER.
